Chapter One Hundred and Fifteen Meet

There was no problem with the landing of the fw200. This was originally a long-range passenger plane developed for Lufthansa, but the Luftwaffe changed it to military use only because of the hunger. Now, except for a few "condiles" who are still on duty in the North Sea, most of them are sent to modification factories to retire from the army. Except for some of them being converted into government aircraft, the rest will be put into operation of commercial routes.

This special plane was one of the first four "condiles" retired from the Air Force's long-range reconnaissance force. The modification was in a hurry, but the civilian cabin layout was restored. The bottom of the cabin was still retained.

The crew members are still affiliated with the Air Force, but they usually wear Lufthansa uniforms. Only the crew members know that they are locked in a spare box at the back of the cockpit, and there are four mg15 aircraft machine guns and supporting ammunition. Once needed, the aircraft can be restored immediately.

Amid the loud and majestic military music, the huge "condile" slowly slid into the apron. Two British diligents ran over quickly and helped the crew members lower the folding gangway at the hatch door.

Baron Ryerson first stood around the hatch and looked around, then walked down the gangway with a briefcase.

"Do you know, Schultz, I like the air here." The Baron turned his head and said to his friend who was walking down the gangway.

"I don't think so, there is dust everywhere here."

"This is the desert, Schultz." The Baron responded to his friend's complaint, then walked towards the British who greeted him with a warm smile.

"Welcome to Egypt." Sir Fay walked up to greet Ryerson.

"Hi! Reinhart!" Ryerson took off his hat and gave a raise of his arms first.

Fay was used to dealing with the Germans in London, and he was no longer surprised by this. To be honest, because of the new head of state, the Germans actually like to raise arms more than the Hitler era. However, some people only simply declare their loyalty to the head of state to show their qualifications as Nazi party members.

Fay noticed that Baron Ryerson had a silver Spanish Cross hanging on his chest. If he guessed correctly, the Baron should have been on the battlefield.

"You are Baron Ryerson, I am Sir Fay." Fay smiled and reached out to the German Baron.

"I have heard people talk about you in Berlin. Many friends praised your friendship and enthusiasm for the Third Reich. I am honored to meet you here, Sir Fay." Ryerson held Sir Fay's hand hard and shook it up and down a few times.

"Please allow me to introduce my assistant, Mr. Hank Schultz." Ryerson let go of the jazz's hand and introduced his friends to the jazz in England.

"It's an honor to meet you, Sir Fay." Schulz shook hands with Fay.

"Please also allow me to introduce, Baron, Mr. Schulz, who is the commander of the British garrison in Cairo, Colonel Rick Hunter. In the days to come, he will personally take charge of your timely security in Egypt." Fay gave up Colonel Hunter behind him.

"Good luck, Colonel Hunter."

"Good luck, Mr. Baron." So both sides were polite again.

"It's going well along the way, Baron." After the social event, Sir Fay led the German guests to the waiting convoy, which was still a long way from the center of Cairo.

"It went smoothly. I encountered bad weather while staying in Libya, but our crew members were very experienced, so they didn't delay much time." Ryerson replied.

"That's really." Just as Fey was about to praise the German guests, his words were suddenly interrupted by the scene in front of him.

I saw five shiny black high-end cars driving along the taxiway on one side of the runway like lightning. The wheels rolled over the gravel runway and raised the rolling sand and dust behind them. The most eye-catching thing was the car flags hanging on both sides of the front of the car, and there were two black lightning symbols on the white pennant (the mark used by the SS is the sig lightning symbol in the two Nordic Runi characters, which means victory.).

"SS? Why did they come here?" Fay looked at Colonel Henry with some confusion, and the other party shrugged his shoulders and said that he didn't know either.

"Are they here to greet you? Baron." Fay turned his head and looked at Ryerson.

"I'm afraid not, Sir Fay, the person they are going to greet should be still on the plane." Ryerson replied with a smile.

"There are other people on the plane? I thought it was only you two." Fei was a little surprised, not understanding what the Germans were playing.

"It's just a few SS officers. They were flying in Libya. They had nothing to do with my mission. They just came to Egypt." Ryerson looked at the plane.

It seemed that the passengers on the plane also discovered the speeding convoy, and SS officers and soldiers wearing black uniforms walked off the plane quickly with their luggage.

These German SS, which suddenly appeared on the apron, successfully attracted the attention of the British army present. Thanks to the mysterious British media, this unit is already famous in the minds of the British and is often used by British parents to scare friends who refuse to eat and sleep well.

To be honest, the British did not slander the SS. In history, this army was indeed covered with the blood of innocent people. They were oppressed and killed not only by the Jews in the German occupied areas, but also by a large number of German compatriots who were dissatisfied with the Nazi rule. For their heads of state and belief, these people could abandon human nature and conscience without hesitation. (Himler: The SS is always loyal, never betrayed, and there is no small secret. Xu Jun: I think if their uniforms are changed to dark green, they will become more loyal ( ̄▽ ̄”).)

"That person, the SS officer, the one with a silver embellished chest, I think I've seen him before." Sir Fay found a familiar face from a team of SS officers at a glance.

"Why is he here? Could it be that the German head of state has any new plans?" Fey secretly guessed in his heart.

Sir Fay had met Randolph, right in Buckingham Palace in London. Fay clearly remembered that the young SS lieutenant colonel followed behind the German head of state, but Fay stood in the group of parliamentarians on both sides and had no chance to communicate with the head of state's adjutant.

"Which lieutenant colonel do you know?"

"Ah, I don't know you, I just saw you in London." Fay was not going to continue talking about this. He now just wanted to report this discovery to his most reliable friends as soon as possible.

"The SS has an office in Cairo." Colonel Hunter didn't find any words.

"They and I are not in the same system, although they are both assigned by the head of the army." Baron Ryerson loosened the collar of the shirt with his fingers.

"Do you want to go over and say hello? Sir Fay." The Baron looked at Fay with a smile.

"Forget it today. It seems that they don't like to contact strangers. We'll send you to the hotel for a rest first. Willist specially prepared the best room in Cairo for you. I promise you can't find anything better than this. Do you want to ask who Willis is? Hahaha, I'll introduce you to you when you go to the place. That's a powerful man. I think there is nothing he can't do in Cairo." Sir Fay continued to guide the Baron towards the vehicle.

At this moment, Whitewood walked over quickly and stopped the group.

"What's the matter, Major," Colonel Hunter asked with a frown.

"This is Major Whitewood of the RAF and deputy commander of the West Cairo base." Fay introduced to Ryerson.

"Sir, that Xunlong is the plane landing in front of him. The pilot on it was a Luftwaffe officer. At the same time, there was a German army officer and two French civilians among the passengers of the plane. I don't know how to deal with them, whether to detain or let them go."

"Can't you report this matter in a convenient time? Major Whitewood!" Hunter scolded dissatisfied.

"The two German officers are very excited now. They ask to let them go immediately, but we haven't figured out the problem with the plane yet," Whitewood said helplessly.

If he was replaced by a pilot from the UK or other European countries, he would be able to detain the person without saying a word and wait for the investigation before handling the matter according to the results. At that time, it would be a problem with the Military Law Department. But now he is encountering two German officers, and Whitewood cannot handle it like this. Although he has absolute law enforcement power in the British base, with the current relationship between Britain and Germany, he must ask his superiors who can make decisions.

"What's going on? Can you tell me? Major Whitewood." At this time, the German envoy interrupted. For some reason, he suddenly became interested in the two German compatriots.
