Chapter 5 The Taoist Goes Down the Mountain (Part 2)

According to the old Taoist priest, when he found Fang Yi at the entrance of the Taoist temple, Fang Yi was naked all over, and there was not even a swaddle covering his body.

At that time, the only thing Fang Yi was on his body was the pendant hanging around his neck. Fang Yi was holding it in his mouth and swallowing it into his stomach. His little face turned red. If the old Taoist priest discovered it for a while, maybe there would be Fang Yi, who is still there now.

However, the old Taoist priest seemed not to catch a cold about the bone pendant. Although he told Fang Yi that the pendant was found from him, he never allowed Fang Yi to wear it. This made the young Fang Yi very strange and found out the origin of the pendant in a roundabout way.

After drinking, the old Taoist priest told Fang Yi that it turned out that this pendant was slightly larger than his thumbnail and carved with a seemingly simple line. It was actually a Buddhist instrument, and it was a special instrument of Tantric Buddhism. It was called Gabala in Tibetan.

The so-called Gabala refers to rosary or magical instruments made of human bones. In all religions, only tantras in Buddhism are used.

Tantric Buddhism, also known as Zhenyan Buddhism, is one of the Buddhist sects and circulated in Zang and Qing. Because it is characterized by highly organized mantras, etiquette, and worship of the deity in practice, it has always been characterized by mysticism.

Tantric magic tools mostly use human bones. Of course, not everyone can use human bones for human bone rosary. They must be the remains of lamas and monks. Just like the sky burial after the death of Tibetans, feeding their bodies to eagles to reach the Buddhist realm of Shizu cutting their thighs and feeding them to eagles. The body has become food for living beings, and the bones are donated to make magic tools.

Human bone rosary beads are most commonly used for finger bones and eyebrow bones. Because Buddhism emphasizes cause and condition, monks naturally use fingers the most, while eyes are the place where they read Buddhist scriptures to understand the world's emotions. These two parts are the most knowledgeable and are bones with insight, and of course they can become magic tools to open up the wisdom of future generations.

Roses made of finger bones are generally easier. Generally, a pair of rosary can be made by ten fingers. The eyebrow bones are relatively hard, so a pair of rosary may be made of eyebrow bones of more than a dozen monks.

Just imagine that the small rosary is actually caused by more than a dozen monks. How precious it would be for a Buddhist.

Moreover, the production of human bone rosary or magic tools is very complicated. Because it is all handmade, monks must have very high skills and polish their luster every day. This may take more than ten years, and at the same time, they must collect all the eyebrows of a pair of rosary. It takes more than a dozen monks to pass away. In this way, a pair of rosary may take five, sixty years, or even a hundred years.

Only human bone rosary made of finger bones and eyebrow bones can be called Gabala, while rosary made of human bones such as calf bones can only be called human bone beads, and cannot be called Gabala. There are very few Gabala made of high-ranking monk bones.

Due to geographical restrictions, before the 1970s and 1980s, Tibet and the mainland had few contacts, and Tibetan Buddhism has always been mysterious in the eyes of the world. If the old Taoist priest had not been able to travel around the world and learn from all his life, he might not have recognized that this was the Garbala made by the bones of the eyebrows.

According to Master Fang Yi, this gabala contains pure thought power. It should be made by a Taoist monk or even a living Buddha's eyebrows. It is just a different path for Buddhism and Taoism. Although the old Taoist priest is open-minded, he does not want his Taoist disciple to wear Buddhist magic tools.

Fang Yi was raised by his master since childhood and was very filial to his master. Although he knew that this Gabala magic weapon had a great relationship with him, he had never worn it before. He would occasionally take it out and play with it when it was late at night.

"Tsk, why are you so nervous? I haven't seen anything you have?"

Seeing that Fang Yi did not let him touch the pendant, the fat man couldn't help but scream and said, "Fang Yi, is it Fat Master, I have been in the army for several years? Which girl did you hook up with? Honestly, is this the token of love given to you by the girl?"

It's strange that Fang Yi grew up in the mountains. Sometimes he followed his master to go to the mountains to collect herbs and often slept in the open. However, Fang Yi had fair skin and handsome appearance. Except for the calluses on his palms, he didn't look like a child growing up in the mountains.

When Fang Yi, Fatty and others were thirteen or fourteen years old, Fatty and Sanpao would sometimes bring some little girls from the village to Fang Yi to play. Without exception, those girls who are relatively precocious will express some kind of favor to Fang Yi, which makes the fat man very savory, so that this is the case.

"Token of love? You guy can think of it..."

Hearing the fat man's words, Fang Yi said with some amusement: "This thing is a magic weapon called Gabala, which is made of human bones. Will the girls in your village give you a token of love, and will this thing be given?"

"It's made of human bones? Damn, didn't you say it earlier?"

The fat man stretched out his hand to Nagabala and quickly shrank back, saying hurriedly: "The old Taoist priest can make these strange things, and he dares to hang things like evil human bones on his body. I said, take this thing away..."

The fat man grew up with the old Taoist priest since childhood. He knew that although the old Taoist priest was a little crazy, he was actually a hidden master. He also had many things that ordinary people did not understand, so he just thought that Gabala was passed on to Fang Yi by the old Taoist priest.

"You know what's the matter..." Hearing the fat man's nonsense, Fang Yi couldn't help but laugh and scold, "Gabala is made of the human bones of a great monk. She can drive away evil spirits and take shelter. Why does it become evil when you get into your mouth..."

Fang Yi was too lazy to talk to the fat man more. This guy was a chattering guy and couldn't make it clear. He immediately took Nagabala in his hand, rubbed it carefully, and then hung it close to his neck.

As the only clue of his life experience, Fang Yi naturally attached great importance to this Gabala. When his master was there, Fang Yi would not wear it in order to take into account his master's feelings, but now the old Taoist priest has returned to the west, so Fang Yi naturally wants to collect it personally.

"I am an authentic Taoist descendant and wearing Buddhist magic weapons, which is indeed a bit unreasonable..."

Feeling the coolness from the Gabala magic weapon on his chest, Fang Yi felt a little uncomfortable, but the reason was that when the old Taoist priests were alive, they were all the people who sold dog meat with the title of sheep, and there were only a few Taoist monks left.

"Okay, let's go. Let's go to the master's to worship and you can go down the mountain..."

After putting away Gabala, Fang Yi patted his palm. He and his master were both people who were invisible. Apart from the few strings of Taoist beads used for daily practice, there were only a few worn Taoist robes. Even the small wooden box left by the master for himself could not be filled.

"Well, we were not here when the old guy died, so we should have kowtowed him a few times..."

After hearing Fang Yi's words, the fat man's attention immediately shifted from Gabala. Although he did not respect the old Taoist priest verbally, he had eaten a lot of wine and meat from the old Taoist priest since he was a child, and he respected him very much in his heart.

"I will be rich in the future and will definitely come back to rebuild Shangqing Palace..."

Carrying the box with the fat man out of the Taoist temple, Fang Yi looked back and saw a hint of reluctance on his face. Although he felt lonely and cold living here every day, once he was about to stay away, the thought of leaving home surged into Fang Yi's heart.

"Okay, will Fat Master and you rebuild this place in the future?"

Although the fat man looked careless, he was actually a person with a relatively detailed mind. After seeing the reluctance on Fang Yi's face, he put his arms around Fang Yi's shoulder and said, "Go and see the old guy's cemetery quickly. I want to see what Feng Shui treasure land he chose for himself?"

When the old Taoist priest was alive, he often lamented that he had the ability to steer the geometry, but he was suffering from the lack of descendants. Even if he chose a good Feng Shui acupoint, he would not benefit future generations.

"Don't have any bad thoughts, boy..."

Seeing the fat man's straight eyes, Fang Yi couldn't help but slap him on the head and said angrily: "Master once set up a formation. Anyone who dares to invade his cemetery will die without a place to die, not to mention that there is nothing in the master's tomb. You kid, don't make any decisions..."

"Hey, I said Fang Yi, don't blame me, how could I have that idea..." After being slapped by Fang Yi, the fat man suddenly exclaimed: "If I want to do that job, I will also go to our ancestors. Just like the old Taoist priest, what good funeral items can I have?"

"Okay, your ancestors don't know who they are. Don't talk nonsense here..." Fang Yi laughed when the fat man said that the fat man had a surname Wei, his name was Wei Jinhua, and his nickname was Jinhua. When he was young, he had fought with people because of this nickname.

However, according to the fat man, the people of their clan were not originally surnamed Wei, but Cao. They were descendants of Cao Cao during the Three Kingdoms period. After the Western Jin Dynasty was destroyed by Sima Yan, they changed Cao to Wei and hid in this small mountain village in order to avoid disaster.

The fat man's words were not aimless, because there is a genealogy in their clan that can indeed be traced back to that period. The old Taoist priest also checked the genealogy and came back to Fang Yi and told Fang Yi that the people in the village at the foot of the mountain were most likely descendants of Cao Cao's lineage.

However, a few years ago, the ancestral hall in the village lost a fire and burned all the genealogies in the ancestral hall to ashes. This made the fat man in the army very sad because he was determined to find the 72 suspicious tombs of his ancestor Cao Cao since he was a child, but this fire cut off the fat man's idea.
