8. Chapter 8

When Du's mother arrived at Zhou's house, the Zhou family had just finished their meal and Zhou's father was cleaning up the dishes. It was the door opened by Zhou's mother.

"Come in quickly, I haven't chatted with you for a long time." Zhou's mother still welcomed Mom Du. The two are about the same age as each other and are still neighbors. They often interact with each other on weekdays. Although they have no common language in their careers, they can be considered a good deal.

"Isn't that just that, I've been too busy recently and I don't have time to come." Mother Du said, changing her shoes into the house, looking for the weekend in the house, and asked, "Are you back on the weekend?"

"I've been back a long time ago and I'm cleaning up the kitchen." said Zhou's mother.

I poked my head out of the kitchen over the weekend and called out, "Auntie."

Mother Du adjusted her expression, walked over with a smile, and asked, "On the weekend, have you seen our Jing'er? You haven't come back yet."

"I haven't come back yet? I guess I'm going to celebrate?" I didn't come back with Du Jingyi on the weekend.

When the students got off the bus and disbanded, the students rushed away. Du Jingzhi ran very fast and didn't even look at him on the weekend, but they guessed they were celebrating with those buddies.

“What to celebrate?”

I smiled over the weekend, but it was still his signature warm smile: "I won't tell you anymore, I guess he wants to give you a surprise."

Mother Du seemed to have guessed something, and her fingertips shook slightly, but she still pretended to be calm and asked: "What surprise? What prize has he received?"

"Well, he found the first prize for climbing the mountain. I guess he took his classmates to celebrate."

After hearing this, Mother Du was silent for a while before asking again: "What is the first prize?"

"Cash, two thousand, more." He said, changing the subject, "Little Mirror had discussed with me about future work. I was always afraid that my work would not be good in the future and I could not respect you well. Why did you teach such a good son? I am so lucky."

She was a little stunned, then nodded with a bitter smile, then politely talked to Zhou's mother, and left in a hurry.

After she left, Zhou's mother walked to the kitchen door with some confusion and asked, "Is there something wrong with Xiao Mirror Mom?"

"It's a bit, but I guess it's okay. The little mirror is very sensible, and the aunt is also a good mother."

"Well, have you been helping Xiao Mirror make up for the lessons recently?"

"yes."

"It's pretty good. It can help you consolidate and help Xiao Mirror. Alas, I would rather demolish ten temples than destroy a marriage, otherwise I really want to persuade Xiao Mirror's mother to divorce."

"Mom, don't mention this when I wash the dishes, it will affect my mood."

Zhou's mother laughed and scolded the weekend and left. After stopping her actions of washing dishes on the weekend, she thought about it and continued to wash dishes.

When Du's mother returned home, she saw that Du Jingzhi was no longer in the restaurant and her money and lipstick were still on the dining table. She put the money away, put it in her pocket, then opened the lipstick box, took the red color and looked at it, and tried painting it in front of the mirror.

I am old and haven't tried such a pink color for a long time. After applying it, it looks pretty good.

After she put her lipstick down, she went upstairs and went to the door of Du Jingzhi's room.

The door was closed tightly, and she knocked on it, but Du Jingzhi ignored it, and there was no sound in the room.

Du Jingzhi felt that he was very unreliable, and his kindness was regarded as a donkey's liver and lungs. After that, he was so aggrieved that he kept crying. He was still crying and lying motionless on the bed. He didn't want to pay attention when he heard the knock on the door.

Mother Du knocked on the door again, and then she started talking outside the door: "This time it was Mom who blamed you wrongly."

He still didn't say anything.

"It's the first time I'm a mother. I don't understand a lot. Sometimes I do something wrong on impulse. Now, you know that you are my only sustenance. I'm afraid that my son will go astray, especially with your personality. I'm worried all day long, afraid that you will learn bad things. The more I'm afraid that you will think of something, the more I will think of it. So when I see you come back with money, the first thing I think of is this." Mother Du said, and she choked up.

He turned over, looked at the door, wiped his tears, and still said stubbornly.

Mother Du continued: "I don't expect you to get me how much money, I just want you to be healthy and safe. I have worked hard to support you. You have worked hard toward your dreams. When you grow up and recall the past, we will not have any regrets. Mom is not afraid that you have no money and can't support your mother, but I am just afraid that you will learn bad things. If it is because of me who taught you bad things, I will blame myself for the rest of my life."

After listening to his mother's words, he was silent for a while before saying, "Well, I understand. Anyway... that... don't pour baking soda into my shoes in the future, my feet will be rotten."

"Well, okay, mom knows. You can wait a little longer, mom will warm you up the food." After saying that, he heard the sound of Mom Du going down the stairs.

He sat on the bed and wiped his nose and casually wiped his face.

After about five minutes, Du Jingzhi went downstairs, took out the English dictionary from his bag, looked back and forth, and showed off his usual appearance to Du's mother: "Look, it's high-end, elegant, low-key, gorgeous and connotative, suitable for weekends."

Du Jingzhi usually doesn't hold grudges to his own mother, and it's useless to be angry for a long time. He also makes his mother worried. It's better to just be a happy little ** and act like nothing has happened.

Mother Du looked into the restaurant and asked, "Just buy a dictionary?"

"This book costs about one hundred yuan. I have never read such an expensive book in my life."

"Okay, it's pretty good."

After dinner, Du's mother rushed him to deliver the book to the weekend, and she just had to clean up the dishes. Du Jingzhi hesitated for a moment, and placed the studio leaflets on the dining table, and then went upstairs and returned to the room.

When Mother Du came to clean up, she saw the flyer and took a few more glances. Then she called Teacher Wang to ask about the specific situation of the agreement class.

In fact, Du Jingzhi thought about it for a while before he decided to show the leaflet to Du's mother. After all, early registration can save 20% of the cost. He hid it like this, which would delay Du's mother's kindness and might not necessarily save money.

Du Jingzhi went upstairs, opened the balcony door, and reached the side close to the building. He stepped on the flower pot and was about to climb over the low fence and jumped to the terrace of Zhouyue's home. He was crawling, but Zhouyue opened the door and walked out. He reached the fence and reached Du Jingzhi's armpit and carried him to his side.

He was a little speechless, feeling that the weekend was as clean as if he was holding a child.

After he stood firm, he let go on the weekend and said, "I will prepare a small ladder for you one day."
