Chapter 6 The Mysterious Little Girl

I looked at Li Ming speechlessly. Could it be that this guy is an atheist? But he didn't look like that before. I thought about it and asked, "If it was artificial, don't you think this matter is a bit incomprehensible?"

Li Ming raised his eyelids and looked at me, "So I came here to investigate."

I was stunned. This elder brother didn't think about it from the beginning, right? I still believe in him so much!

"Can I ask you a few questions?" I had no choice but to say.

"Tell me." He picked up the teacup and said casually.

"Have you heard the weird legends of our school?" I looked around and leaned closer to him and said softly.

"I've heard of it, but I'm a policeman and I've always resisted these things that are pretending to be magic." He said seriously.

I frowned and looked at him, and didn't know what to say for a moment. After thinking about it, I said, "So you brought me here because of Leng Ningshuang?"

"No," he nodded seriously.

"Then is the girl she was in love with your brother before?" I asked him with a frown.

Li Ming lowered his head and thought for a moment, and slowly said, "Maybe not, but I think if you have received threatening text messages, then there must be some connection between the two."

"So what do you want to know from me?" I raised my eyebrows and said.

He looked at me silently, "Citizens who know the truth should have an obligation to restore the truth."

"Brother," I looked at him helplessly, "I regret to tell you that I don't know the truth, nor do I know the conspiracy behind it, so I'm afraid you can't count on me anymore."

Li Ming didn't say anything else, just looked at me quietly.

I sighed, "I don't mean to hide anything from you. I regret your brother's affairs. But now, I can't protect myself, and I do know nothing."

"That girl, is there any problem?" He looked at me and frowned slightly.

I smiled bitterly in my heart. I thought Li Ming and I suspected that they were the same as I did. They thought Leng Ningshuang was a little wrong, but what I didn't expect was that this boss actually suspected that she was a murder suspense person.

I shook my head, "I don't think so. If I find something wrong in the future, what will I know about you as soon as possible?"

Li Ming glanced at me deeply, "Okay."

After a few simple sips of tea, I went home and cancelled the idea of finding the truth with Li Ming.

The truth is different and they don’t plan to each other, not to mention that they are policemen, I don’t have the ability to convince the public servants of the people to accompany me from the perspective of gods and ghosts.

At this moment, the figure of the beggar man couldn't help but appear in my mind. Although Leng Ningshuang said he was a ghost, frankly speaking, when I met this man, I really trusted him very much and did not think about him in this way.

Those clean eyes, as clear as a child, are really unquestionable.

But now the two of them have completely opposite opinions, so one of them must be lying to me.

Although Bai Ningshuang knew that she had more suspicious points, she trusted her in some way. Maybe she was really liked by someone and that she didn't want to be xenophobic in her subconscious mind.

I was so entangled that I was a little troubled that I simply didn’t think about anything, and forced myself to go to sleep, and I had to go to work on time tomorrow.

After work that day, I walked home as usual and suddenly felt someone pulling my clothes from behind. I turned around in a daze. A little girl with a little dirty body was looking at me with a smile.

Suddenly, my nervous heart relaxed and let out a breath of relief. I squatted down and looked at him, "Little guy, what's wrong? Why are you here alone? Where are your parents?"

The little girl didn't say anything, just looked at me with a smile. I was puzzled for a moment, but I felt alert and looked at her seriously, "What do you want to say to me?"

She was silent for a long time, then suddenly pointed to her stomach and said with a smile, "I'm hungry."

I was stunned and shook my head with a lot of laughter. It turns out that I was too nervous. When I saw the people who came to me, I felt that it was not simple.

"Let's go, I'll take you to KFC." I stood up, took the little girl's hand and said softly, "By the way, where are your parents? Why are you alone?"

The little girl doesn't speak.

I didn't ask, but just reminded me, "It's dangerous for a child to go around alone, and I can't just find food for people on the way. What if a bad person catches you?"

The little girl was still silent, and I didn't say anything more. When I walked to the door of a nearby KFC, I suddenly heard her seemingly whispering, "They dare not."

I unconsciously held the little girl's hand tightly, but because of the people coming and going at the door, I couldn't hear it sincerely. Looking back at the little girl's smile, I didn't take it too much to care.

After ordering a set meal for the whole family bucket, I found an inconspicuous seat and sat down. I took a tissue and wiped her dirty little face. She was actually a very cute little loli, and I don’t know why she was covered in dust.

The little girl did not refuse me when she wiped her face, but when I was about to pull her left hand to wipe it, she reflexively pulled back, and the speed was so fast that I was a little surprised.

After being shocked, I stopped taking the initiative and gently wiped the right hand I just held her and said, "You have to wipe the other hand clean to eat, so that you won't have a stomachache."

Although she did not refute, she looked at me seriously and shook her head.

I tried to ask, "Then do it yourself?"

She hesitated for a moment and nodded.

I smiled helplessly and had to hand her a piece of paper for her to wipe it by herself. However, she did not move after taking the paper, but looked at me with a blank expression.

I was stunned and sighed, "Sit down and don't move, can I go and pick up the food?"

She smiled and nodded.

I stood up, but I felt more vigilant and curious about this little girl. Could it be that this little guy is not a simple person?

After picking up the meal, the smile on the little girl's face became even brighter. The whole family's set meal was not small, but what surprised me was that the little girl's appetite was quite large. Except for a few egg tarts, I was killed by her alone.

Fortunately, after eating, she smacked her mouth with satisfaction before looking at me with a smile, "I'm full."

OK, this is the second thing the little guy said to me.

After I led her out, I squatted down and touched her hair, "Little guy, should you go home?"

She looked at me, firmly and vigorously, shook her head.

I thought for a while, "I'll take you back?"

She still repeated the movement just now.

"But if you don't go home, your parents will be anxious." I continued to persuade.

But the little guy said nothing except shaking his head.

I frowned and asked tentatively, "Do you want me to take you home?"

The little girl looked at me and nodded deeply.

I hesitated for a moment, "Will your parents be in a hurry?"

Then continue to shake your head.

I finally started to re-examine the girl in front of me from the bottom of my heart and said seriously, "But I will go to a school to attend classes at night. Wouldn't you be afraid if you stay alone?"

The little girl suddenly opened her eyes wide and looked at me, grabbed my hand tightly with her right hand, and shook her head vigorously.

As I observed her reaction, I suddenly had an idea in my mind. I think the little girl was not saying that she would be afraid, but said, don’t go to school!

I shivered smartly, leaned over to her and said softly, "You mean, tell me not to go tonight?"

The little girl grabbed my hand and nodded with great force.

I took a deep breath and said softly, "Do you want to go home with me first? Go back to where I live first."

The little girl nodded, I calmed down, held her hand, and walked slowly towards home.

After I got home and closed the door, I looked at the little girl and sighed and asked, "Little guy, who are you?"

The little girl lowered her head and didn't say anything.

Then I asked several questions in a row, but she just lowered her head and was silent, without saying anything or showing any expression.

I can only temporarily believe that the child in front of me is a paranormal, and said helplessly, "I don't want to go either, but I can't stop."

The little girl looked up at me, and looked at me with big black eyes like black grapes, and finally said the third sentence, "You are in danger."

I looked at her for a moment, then said with a wry smile, "I know, I'm being targeted, right?"

Unexpectedly, she shook her head.

I was stunned for a moment and said bitterly, "I know that the person who targeted me is not a human, but a ghost. But I can't drop out of school, I have no way out."

The little girl looked at me silently and didn't say anything.

Just when I thought she wouldn't say anything, she suddenly took my hand and started drawing in the palm of my hand. But I don't know what she was drawing, it felt like a complex symbol, or a series of spells that I couldn't understand.

Suddenly, she raised one hand and covered my eyes, and said softly, "Don't look."

I subconsciously closed my eyes. Although I didn't know what she wanted to do, I subconsciously believed in this little girl. Suddenly, I felt a hot heart in my palm, as if I had been branded by something, but soon, this feeling passed.

I asked quietly until I felt the little girl's hand take off my face, "Can I open my eyes?"

The little girl nodded lightly, and I slowly opened my eyes, and didn't feel anything unusual. The hot right hand looked no different just now, but I just felt that the little girl's face turned pale.

I asked softly, "Did you do anything for me?"

The little girl nodded slightly tiredly, and did not speak. She lay on the bed and closed her eyes and rested.
