Fanyang Lu family
The Lu family of Fanyang came from the Jiang family and was descended from Qi State. He was given the surname Lu because of his fief Luyi. The ancestor Lu Zhi was famous for Confucianism in the Eastern Han Dynasty and founded its foundation. Lu Yu of the Three Kingdoms reached the Sikong of Cao Wei. Lu Zhi was a pillar of the social turmoil. The people of Confucian scholars had a wide influence on his knowledge, courage, merits and moral character, and was recognized by the world. Therefore, it laid the foundation for Lu's later use as the "Northern State Crown Family" and "Fanyang County". "Old Book of Tang: Lu" stated: "Since the Yuan and Wei Yuan, the crown was quite strong."
Lu Zhi and his descendants accumulated academic achievements and moral character in the Han, Wei, Southern and Northern Dynasties, became the basis of reputation and spiritual driving force for the descendants of the Lu family to flourish for more than a thousand years.
