Chapter 94: Snow Mountain

Nepal, thirty kilometers north of Manaslu Peak.

The brilliant light of the green sun shrouded the continuous snow-capped mountains, shining with dizzying white light. In this area with temperatures below minus 20 degrees Celsius, besides snow-capped mountains, it is difficult to see anyone passing by here. As a harsh no-man's land, let alone tourists, even the local Gurkha people dare not go deep into this place.

Albert, who had been here for seven months, was deeply touched by this. During these seven months, he had never seen any other outsiders except for the monk who came here every three months and sent some necessary supplies.

But that's exactly what he needs.

Albert began ten years ago and became obsessed with transpersonal psychology. This school of psychology that emerged in the United States in the 1970s has not yet been completely perfected into a complete system, and few people have truly studied it in depth. The core of this school of psychology lies in consciousness theory, which divides human consciousness into four levels, namely the spiritual layer, the existence layer, the self layer and the shadow layer. Each layer represents a different understanding of the individual's ontology.

Its theory is based on humanism and studies the combination of human mind and body level. It is based on ancient Greek philosophy, traditional Chinese philosophy, modern philosophy, Taoist thought, Buddhist theory, ancient Indian Brahma, yoga, meditation, and Sophie Tantric Buddhism can all be studied. Moreover, because it involves the development of potential at the physical level, understanding the self and surpassing the self's requirements, Taoist Qigong, Indian yoga, and Tibetan Tantric Buddhism are assistants for studying the body and the mind.

Over the past decade, although Albert has made great breakthroughs on the theoretical level, he has not made any progress on the physical level. As for the realm of transcending oneself and seeing the light of the mind, he has not even touched the edge.

Seven months ago, under the introduction of a friend, Albert came to Nepal's Manaslu Peak 30 kilometers north of Nepal's Manaslu Peak. On a towering snow-capped mountain, there is a temple built in the 1950s. Although it looks dilapidated and has extremely bad conditions, it lives a monk over 117 years old...

Before this, Albert could not believe that the monk would be 117 years old because his appearance looked only in his sixties.

But a month later, Albert had to believe it.

This monk who believed in Tibetan Buddhism but was proficient in ancient yoga had a magical body function. He did not eat or drink for two weeks in a large pit in the snow and ice, so that Albert thought he was already dead. When he saw the monk walking out intact two weeks later, Albert was deeply shocked by this.

This scene that goes against human common sense, when it is staged in front of oneself, brings people too strong shock.

Albert had no doubt about this and was willing to start his own path of cultivation.

In the first month, he sat cross-legged on the edge of the cliff of the snow-capped mountains. Looking down, he saw a canyon glacier that was thousands of meters high, and upwards, the boundless blue sky, and the bone-bone-black wind blowing from the left and right.

Then, naked, naked and wearing only thin pants on the lower body, Albert closed his eyes and began to meditate.

Despite his strong body, in the temperature around him that was nearly minus twenty degrees below zero, he meditated in the cold wind with his upper body naked, which was a bit of a death-seeking behavior. In less than half a minute, Albert's face turned blue and he had to stop meditation.

In the following months, he kept fighting against nature in this cold wind, using the breathing method he learned from his master, Albert persisted for longer and longer.

By the seventh month, he had been able to hold on in the cold wind for five hours without any effort.

"blow!"

Holding a wooden stick, Albert waved around the edge of the cliff, and as he walked quickly, he fell into the canyon glacier and was crushed to pieces. However, he took advantage of the great horror between life and death. Albert's spirit and body combination became more and more complete, and he felt that as his practice deepened, his eyes and ears became stronger and stronger.

The most incredible thing is that my previous fatigued mind has been relieved and relaxed, and I feel more peaceful. It seems that nothing in the world can no longer alarm him.

As usual, after two hours of exercise on the edge of the cliff, Albert returned the same way with sweat.

Returning from halfway up the snow-capped mountain to the middle and high part of the snow-capped mountain, the temple built on the back of the cliff, a suspension bridge of 120 meters long is the only way to connect the temple to the outside roads.

Incredibly, this suspension bridge seems shaky, and it seems crumbling every time it passes by, but it has not collapsed for more than 60 years. It can still serve well to date. It is indeed as magical as this temple built deep in the Great Snow Mountains.

When he returned to the temple, Albert did not see the master, and was not surprised. The master often traveled outside to practice and often would not come back for a week or two. It was normal that he could not see a figure.

He walked directly back to the room he lived in, all empty were wooden floors. From here, he opened the window and looked out, and could see the endless majestic snow-capped mountains at a glance.

During these seven months, he lived in this room without a bed and only had a coffee table, and he was dealing with his sleeping experience as a meditation of the ancient Oriental practice.

However, as the boss of a listed company in the United States, he still needs to make many decisions. In addition to the satellite phone, there is also a notebook on the coffee table that can be connected to the international Internet through a satellite link. Although there is no electricity in this place, the sun is strong and can be fully charged with solar energy.

Opening the notebook, Albert first processed the emails sent by the company in the usual order, and then began to think about some of the company's unsolved problems.

At this moment, next to the notebook was an Iridium Lridium Global Maritime Satellite Telephone, but it suddenly rang.

Only a few people in his company can know this number. According to common sense, the company will not dial this number unless it is an extremely important matter.

Albert grabbed the phone in confusion and found that the number was not showing the company's call.

"Well, who is it?"

Albert asked in a deep voice when he answered the phone.

"Mr. Albert..."

There were some noises vaguely heard across the maritime satellite phone. The voices in it were a bit strange, not the tone of a normal person's speech. It seemed that it was because of the use of a voice changer.

"You deleted my email yesterday, it seems like this is an impolite act, right?"

"Who are you……"

Hearing him say this, Albert suddenly remembered that when he was processing company documents yesterday, a strange email suddenly came in, saying that there was a test that wanted to invite him to participate.

He was curious about how the other party knew his email address at that time because of the fun of the email, so he participated in the boring test... Yes, the boring test was completed, and he was ranked fourth. After the third weird question was completed, he sent an email and asked him to go to Japan.

For some reason, Albert lost interest and deleted the email directly.

"Mr. Albert, yes, I'm the one who sent you a test question email... Congratulations on passing three test questions, so I hope you can go to Japan."

Albert became interested again, "Who are you? Why did you let me go to Japan?"

"In Japan, you will get the answer..."

"Answer, what answer do I need?" Albert refused, "Sorry, I don't know who you are, but I think I have no plans to go to Japan in the near future, so let's just stop the call."

"Wait... Albert, haven't you been pursuing the combination of human potential and mind? You, who have been studying transpersonal psychology for ten years, don't you want to know the answer?"

"What did you say?"
