Chapter 22 Lost and found

Xu Guang left, and Wang's mother also went back from get off work. Xu Se was the only one left at home, and the empty villa seemed increasingly deserted.

Xu Se suddenly thought of Xu Guang's look at her before leaving. He realized something. He hurriedly ran back to the third floor, pushed open the door of the study, and squatted down in front of the desk.

The small drawer at the bottom was originally locked, but now the lock is gone. Xu Se felt cold and paused for a while before reaching out to open the drawer.

Sure enough, all the magazines inside were gone.

She closed the drawer door irritably, and with a cold face, she took out her cell phone to call Xu Guang, but her finger stopped when she was about to touch the number.

"Se Se, Dad has only you, your daughter, and you will support the entire company in the future."

Xu Se remembered what Xu Guang said to her, lowered his eyes for a long time, turned off the screen of the phone, put it on the table, and sat in a chair.

I don’t know how long I sat there, but my phone rang. After a while, she stretched out her arm and took the phone over.

It's an unfamiliar number, local.

She pressed to answer.

"Xu Se, I am Lu Ting."

Xu Se was not in the mood to talk to him now, and his tone was extremely cold: "What's the matter?"

I paused on the other end of the phone, "I picked up a few medical weekly magazines on the side of the road. Is it yours?"

What Lu Ting didn't say was that when he was passing by her doorstep, he saw Xu Guang give these books to an old man who collected waste products.

He remembered Xu Se's various behaviors, mentioned his loneliness when he was studying medicine, and heard Xu Guang come back and handed him over the magazine for custody.

He didn't know what it was for at that time. After Xu Guang left, he stepped forward and grabbed the old man who was about to leave, and spent money to buy back the magazines.

After hearing his words, Xu Se rushed out like a chicken blood.

When Lu Ting heard the sound of going downstairs quickly, he couldn't help but remind him: "Be careful when going downstairs."

"Okay." Although that's the case, Xu Se did not stop and ran down one step three steps.

Lu Ting was waiting outside the iron gate of the villa, holding a cell phone in one hand and a stack of magazines in the other.

Xu Se ran to him before stopping, and his eyes fell on the magazine in his hand and could no longer move.

Lu Ting handed her the magazine: "We must keep it well in the future."

Xu Se took it, and his fingertips holding the magazine turned white, "Thank you."

She lowered her head, and Lu Ting was much taller than her, and she could not see her expression for a while. Just listening to the sound, she could feel her lost and regained emotion.

Lu Ting is not a troublesome person, but at this time, for some reason, he suddenly asked: "Why didn't your father let you study medicine?"

Xu Se's hand froze as he flipped through the pages, raised a very shallow smile, and looked dissatisfied: "Why else, my company is so big that I am counting on me to inherit."

Lu Ting's intuition told him that Xu Se was lying, but he did not expose it. Everyone has their own secrets.

He took off his schoolbag and found the magazine that Xu Se asked him to keep from it: "There is this one."

After returning, Xu Se walked around the third floor, but still couldn't find a suitable place to collect books.

After thinking about it, he took out his cell phone and called Lu Ting.

Before Lu Ting could walk far away, he turned around and took away the magazines after hearing her request.

In the evening, Lu Ting came out after taking a shower, and his hair was dripping with water. He picked up a towel and wiped it casually, and his eyes fell on the magazine on the desk.

There are seven books in total, all of which have been quite long. The earliest one was from three years ago.

The Medical Weekly is an issue per week, and as Xu Se looks like, I guess I bought it every issue. As for why there are only seven books left, it was probably because her father threw it away.

He dryed his hair and put the hair dryer back on the table, but accidentally knocked down the water cup.

The water in the cup suddenly overflowed, and he quickly picked up the magazine.

But the book at the bottom was still a little wet.

It was the one from three years ago. The cover was a bit old and it could be seen that it was often flipped.

Lu Ting felt familiar, so he searched on the bookshelf in the study and found a magazine that was exactly the same.

The magazine was a sample magazine that he submitted to him at that time and the magazine sent him.
