Chapter 12 The Story Begins Here

The contract the dwarves gave to Morgan was temporarily drafted.

Bilbo's contract was made in advance because Gandalf had said it from the beginning.

However, due to Morgan's joining, Bilbo's commission has been modified.

The commission originally promised to Bilbo was one of fourteen shares of the total income, but was temporarily changed to one of fifteen shares.

And Morgan's commission, because the dwarves can't afford more money temporarily.

So like Bilbo, it became one of fifteen shares of the total income.

As for why the team members added up to 16 people, only 15 people participated in the revenue sharing.

Morgan didn't know and didn't ask much.

When Thorin Oak Shield solemnly handed over the temporary contract to Morgan.

After reading it quickly, Morgan simply signed his name at the final signature.

Billbo, on the contrary, after reading all the terms of the contract.

Hesitated at the last signing moment.

For him, a Hobbit who has never left Hobbit too far from birth.

Leave your warm home, leave delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and leisurely and comfortable bag-bottom pit.

It does take a lot of courage to participate in dangerous, hard and dirty adventures rashly.

Finally, Bilbo shook his head and said that he needed to consider it and returned to his room.

At this time, it was not only Morgan that saw that Bilbo had no intention of participating in the adventure.

Gandalf also saw it.

So, as soon as Bilbo left, Gandalf followed.

At this time, the night was already dark.

The dwarves who had been making trouble for a day also began to yawn.

I will get up early tomorrow morning to rush.

Bilbo's bottom hole is too small, but there is no extra bed.

The dwarves can only work on the floor or find ways to sleep on their own.

Fortunately, it is still summer at this time, the weather is hot, so it doesn’t matter if you sleep on the ground.

Morgan sat on the bench and slept like this all night on the dining table.

The next morning.

When Morgan woke up, he saw a group of dwarves ready to set off.

After a simple wash, Morgan led the dwarves to prepare for this trip, the ponies with stronger endurance and stronger load.

His horse and Gandalf had been dealt with yesterday.

Morgan led the horse to Gandalf, who was looking at the sun with a cigarette pole in his mouth, and asked, "Will Bilbo not leave?"

"Why, do you think Bilbo is unwilling to leave?"

Gandalf turned his head and looked at Morgan and asked.

"Well...that's not."

"I just feel that it takes great courage to let an ordinary person leave everything he has now and take risks with us."

"Of course, I trust you more, Gandalf!"

Looking at Gandalf's eyes as he began to think, Morgan patted Gandalf on the shoulder and smiled.

Bilbo hasn't gotten up yet.

Thorin Oak Shield was not ready to continue waiting.

The dwarves cleaned up everything they had messed up in the bottom hole yesterday.

The group rode a ponies and left Bilbo's home.

Of course, the contract I gave yesterday was left behind.

As long as Bilbo is willing, as long as Bilbo wakes up not too late, he will be able to catch up with everyone.

The sunshine in late summer is not dazzling.

Walking on the tall tree-shaded path.

The group of dwarves talked about Bilbo as they talked about.

Soon, the bet against whether Bill Bo would catch up was played again.

Morgan really saw the abilities of these dwarves: they always seemed to find fun.

The dwarf Pofer, who loves to wear leather hats, spoke first: "I bet Mr. Baggins won't follow him because he dares not. Who dares to bet with me?"

The young dwarf Philip, who was wearing a golden braid, immediately shouted dissatisfied: "Hey, everyone knows that Mr. Baggins will not come. You are unfair!"

A dwarf immediately followed and said, "That's it, that's..."

The dwarf Qili also continued, "Pover, you want to bet that Mr. Baggins will come, so I will make this bet with you."

Just then, Morgan suddenly smiled and said, "I bet that Bakins will catch up. Who dares to bet with me?"

If I didn't know the plot, judging by Bilbo's performance yesterday and the fact that he couldn't get up early this morning, Morgan would never have taken this conversation because the possibility is too small.

But now, you can make money and gain Gandalf's favorability, so why not?

Sure enough, as soon as Morgan spoke, Gandalf looked over with a smile.

He thought Morgan was all like this because he believed in him and took care of his face.

You must know that it is him now, and he has no confidence in whether Bilbo can catch up.

What's more, the dwarf laughed at Bilbo for not being brave, so he was also slapped Gandalf in the face, although the dwarfs may not have such a meaning if they like to make trouble.

But he recommended Bilbo yesterday after all.

"I am the same as Morgan, I am also me..."

Gandalf knocked on the cigarette pole on his shoes and laughed happily.

After the words came to an end, the two voices immediately started to scream.

"I took Morgan's bet..."

"I'll pick up Gandalf..."

Qili and Pofo quickly spoke, causing several other dwarves who were interested in betting to slow down.

"It's my part, too. I guess Mr. Baggins may catch up. We might as well give him some trust."

At this time, the white-bearded Balin spoke, which made everyone stunned.

The dwarf Groyin reacted the fastest and hurriedly said: "I'll take Bahrain's bet!"

At this time, the young dwarf Philip was ready to speak.

"Fili, you're too slow, haha..."

Just as the Expedition Team made a joke about Bilbo.

Inside the bottom hole of the bag.

Bilbo just woke up from his sleep.

When I woke up, I saw that the house was empty and everything was neat and clean as new.

If the food in the food storage room had not been consumed, Bilbo even thought that everything from last night was a dream.

Looking at the empty room and thinking about the bustling and noisy yesterday, Bilbo suddenly felt an inexplicable loss in his heart.

Soon, he saw the contract letter on the table that he refused to sign yesterday.

At this moment, Bilbo suddenly remembered Gandalf's words yesterday: "Bilbo, your mother, your grandfather, your great-great-great-grandfather, your great-great-great-grandfather, are never ordinary..."

"You are also from the Tuk family. Are you planning to stay in this small family for the rest of your life?"

Gandalf's words seemed to be still in his ears.

A sudden unspeakable impulse grew in Bilbo's heart: "Yes, I don't want to, I don't want to live like this for the rest of my life, I don't want to be ordinary!"

Bilbo immediately found a pen to sign his name on the contract.

Then he took out his own package, put a few pieces of clothes suitable for changing, and rushed out of the bottom hole of the bag and ran towards the distance.

Half an hour later.

Carrying a backpack that even had not been tied even with the bag, Bilbo finally saw the expedition team and his group from afar in the woods that were about to leave Hobbiton.

Bilbo waved the contract letter in his hand and rushed forward happily.
