Chapter 220 Confucius Temple
Wenchang City, a historical city.
Zibei County was established in the Western Han Dynasty, Wude County was established in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty was changed to Wenchang County. In the 1995th, Wenchang County was evacuated and changed to Wenchang City.
Wenchang is surrounded by the sea on three sides and four to corners. The Wenchang Academy we are going to is located on the top of Qixingling Mountain on the northeast coast.
After checking the room and returning the rented car, Song Jue and I boarded the plane and flew to Meilan Airport.
After getting off the plane, I saw a special car sent by Ouyang Nuo and took us to Wenchang Academy.
The car drove to the bottom of Qixingling, and Ouyang Nuo was already waiting for us.
"Qin Jue, Song Jue, welcome your arrival." Ouyang Nuo said happily when he saw us.
"Hello."
"Hello, Professor Ouyang."
Wenchang Academy is called Academy, which is actually a base for the cultivation of supernatural talents in Confucianism and Taoism.
The academy is built on the top of the mountain, facing the eastward facing the Qizhou Islands of the South China Sea.
The Qizhou Islands are one of the eight scenic spots in Hainan. Since ancient times, they have been known as the fairyland on earth. Looking down from the air, it is like a list of seven stars in the Big Dipper. The handle of the Doumu points to the southeast.
Looking west, Wenchang Academy is facing the first temple in Hainan, Confucius Temple, which has a thousand years of heritage.
The history of the Confucius Temple in Wenchang was built during the Qingli period of the Northern Song Dynasty and moved to its current location in the eighth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. It is the only Confucius Temple in China that does not face south and does not open its doors.
The reason why the gate was not opened is said to be because the old Wenchang people once swore: If Wenchang had not produced the top scholar, the Confucius Temple would not open. Wenchang had no top scholar, and the Confucius Temple would not have a gate so far, with only two side doors on the left and right.
After the greetings with Ouyang Nuo, she drove us to worship the Confucius Temple.
Confucianism and Taoism regarded Confucius as sages. Mencius was a sub-sage. Since I decided to use it for Confucianism and Taoism, I must worship Confucius before stepping into the gate of the academy.
It is not only a demonstration of determination, but also the Confucius Temple itself is also a test.
When I arrived at the Confucius Temple, looking at this thousand-year-old temple, I felt awe-inspiring in my heart. This is probably the oldest and most complete Confucius Temple in southern China.
When I was in school, I only felt pedantic. The more I read the books I read, the more I understood the more I understood the truth, and the more I understood why Confucianism and Taoism were the most saint among the three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
Usually, the Confucius Temple also receives tourists, but today I don’t know if it is to test me specifically, so I can’t see a figure in the temple gate square.
The Confucius Temple has no main gate, and the side gate is called Li Gate. Li Gate is also called De Pian Tiandi Arch and Dong Arch.
The rule of entering the Confucius Temple is to enter through the ritual gate, which implies that people must follow the etiquette and righteousness in order to enter Confucius' palace, learn the essence of Confucius' thoughts, and become a true disciple of Confucius.
When he arrived at the gate of the ceremony, Ouyang Nuo stopped and signaled us to go in and worship Confucius.
"You go by yourself, I won't go in." Song Jue said.
"Since you're here, why don't you go in?" Ouyang Nuo asked at Song Jue.
"I don't say that the strange powers and the gods are inconsistent with the gods. I go to worship the Confucius Temple, which is inconsistent with the etiquette and law." Song Jue said calmly.
Her words were equivalent to revealing her alien identity, and a trace of surprise flashed in Ouyang Nuo's eyes.
With Song Jue's magical powers, even if the supernatural science tried hard, she could not find out her origin. Even if she asked about the City God Department of the Underworld, there was Xu Zengshou, the City God of Shanhaiguan, who covered her secrets.
Song Jue didn't enter the temple. I was the only one left. For some reason, just as I was about to step into the ritual gate, a very bad sign suddenly arose in my heart.
I stopped and turned to Ouyang Nuo, "Can I not worship Confucius?"
"The thoughts of Confucius are everywhere. Not to mention our descendants of China, they also admire Confucius's way by becoming foreign barbarians. Since they have come, why not worship him?" Ouyang Nuo asked.
"What's wrong? If you don't want to, no one can force you." Song Jue asked with concern.
"It's nothing, I just asked casually and I'll go in now."
After speaking, I began to clean up my clothes, ignite the incense, and entered the door with the incense in my hand.
When worshiping Confucius, the incense must be burned outside the temple.
I don’t say that I am so powerful that I can’t mess with the gods. There are not so many taboos when I worship Confucius. As long as I have sincerity and obey etiquette, I just need to be honest.
When you enter the Limen Gate, you will see a Wanren Palace Wall. You will follow the corridor and enter the courtyard. The Confucius Temple is rigorously arranged and has a symmetrical left and right.
The vestibule has Lingxing Gate, Panchi, Zhuangyuan Bridge and a statue of Confucius from a famous master.
There is an ancient well beside the Zhuangyuan Bridge, called Shengquan.
I walked from the front yard with incense in hand, entered the Dacheng Gate and came to the Dacheng Hall.
The Dacheng Palace is simple and solemn, with a shrine of Confucius, statues of gods, and plaques of gods, four pairs of twelve philosophers.
I stood outside the hall and took a look silently, and walked into the Dacheng Hall with trepidation.
As soon as I entered the palace gate, the incense was destroyed without wind.
When worshiping Dacheng Hall, someone will ring the bell, starting with the sound of the pombe bell and ending with the sound of the jade pan.
The meaning of the combination of the great achievements is that the sound of gold and jade is radiating.
When I went in, I heard the bells coming from the bell tower behind Dacheng Hall.
A thud sound was like a heavy hammer hitting my heart hard.
At this time, the incense had already disappeared. I shouldn't have been in, but the bell had already ringed. If I didn't wait for the end, I would have lost a great gift to Confucius.
Thinking of this, I gritted my teeth and continued to move forward.
The bells sounded and hit my heart hard, hitting my blood and my eyes were blurred.
As the bell sounded more and more, my five senses and six consciousnesses were in chaos.
The body sways left and right, and the standing still cannot stand firmly.
After walking forward a few steps, I saw that the shrine was getting closer and closer, so I gritted my teeth and continued to move forward.
Dong, another loud shock.
My throat was so sweet that I forced the blood into my stomach. When my nose was hot, two blood flowed out again.
I didn't dare to move anymore, and stood there and looked directly at the statue of Kong Shengshen.
The statue of Confucius is an old man with an ancient appearance, with a wise and profound eyes.
Just as his disciple Yan Hui said, he was gentle and fierce, powerful but not fierce, respectful and peaceful.
Looking at the statue of Confucius, I was extremely confused. Why is this Confucius Temple Fair so powerfully hostile to me?
What hurts me seriously is not the bell ringer, but the great spirit of Confucianism and Taoism.
But I can't figure it out even though I have never done anything bad, nor have I rudely treated others. I have practiced the Qiandao gentleman's skills in black books. Where does it conflict with Confucianism and Taoism?
Is it because I am a descendant of a real dragon?
However, Confucius himself did not reject dragons, and even compared Lao Tzu to dragons.
Combined to form a body. Dispersed to form a chapter, riding on the clouds and dispersing from yin and yang.
This sentence is what Confucius said.
I couldn't figure it out and moved forward again.
After a few steps, suddenly another bell rang in the bell tower, like thunder on the ground.
I hurriedly covered my sleeves, afraid that I would contaminate the Dacheng Palace, and a mouthful of blood sprayed all my essence and blood into my sleeves.
The bell is still ringing. If I move forward, the injuries I will only get worse and worse, and I may even have life worries.
But if he turned around, he would lose great courtesy to Confucius.
I was hesitant, should I leave or stay?
Doing it even though you know it is impossible is the core idea of Confucianism and Taoism.
The Confucius Temple is a test for me, and perhaps this is the sentence that needs to be tested.
Thinking of this, I strode forward, letting the bell sound like thunder and bleeding from the seven orifices, and insisting on walking to the shrine and inserting the extinguished incense into the incense burner.
As soon as the incense returned to its position, the bell came to an abrupt end.
The last heavy blow before the end made my internal organs break. I covered my sleeves and sprayed blood. It took a long time to recover.
The bell stopped and meant that the gift was completed. I was thinking of kneeling down and kowtowing. I was worried that I would never get up again after kneeling down, so I turned around and left.
After leaving the ceremony gate, when I saw my face pale, Song Jue hurriedly came up to me.
"Qin Jue, are you injured?"
"It is damaged by the great energy of Confucianism and Taoism, and the qi and blood are disordered, and the soul is unhindered." I said weakly.
"How come it's so good, how could it bring a good aura?" Song Jue asked in confusion.
"I don't know either."
Ouyang Nuo also showed confusion in his eyes, explaining that this kind of thing had never happened.
Even if a monster or evil person accidentally enters the Confucius Temple, he will not suffer this karma as long as he does not do anything that hurts decent things.
What puzzled her the most was that my gift was completed.
When she took the bus back to Qixingling, Song Jue was thinking about this along the way. When she was about to get off, she suddenly said, "Qin Jue, I understand what's going on."
"What's going on?" I asked.
"If you want to blame me, who is the god you hired in the Fengshen Realm, you just want to choose the mysterious armored garment!"
After hearing what Song Jue said, I suddenly realized.
On that day, I entered Qin Shihuang's mysterious armor and garment with the dragon spirit and raised the Ding Qin sword, which means that I inherited the domineering power of the First Emperor's ancestor dragon.
And Qin Shihuang's greatest evil deed in his life was burning books and burying scholars...
Thinking of this, I sighed repeatedly.
Compassion, compassion.
This is a blessing for worshipping Confucius. As long as he does not lose his politeness, he will not blame him. If he worshipping Meng Sheng, it would be strange if he did not kill me with his noble aura!
