Liu Yutang, the captain of the Chinese Navy's Nanchang ship, was the commander-in-chief of the missile fleet's attack on the Japanese ship Musashi.

Through radar detection and reports from advanced underwater submarines, Liu Yutang was aware of every move of the Kikusui attack fleet.
