Chapter 1038 Fleet Voyage

At the same time that the two aircraft carriers Pingjin and Jiangnan were commissioned, the Chinese General Staff established two light fleets.

The five main fleets are the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, the South China Sea, and the Western Sea. Each fleet has a super aircraft carrier battle group.

The five major fleets are mainly responsible for operations against Japan.

The two newly formed light ships are expeditionary fleets. Each expeditionary fleet consists of a helicopter carrier, three cruisers, two destroyers, three submarines, a supply ship and a small number of landing ships.

All ships in the expeditionary fleet are new ships jointly developed by the Military Science Research Institute and several shipyards. Their firepower configuration and combat methods are very different from past warships.

The helicopter carrier designed by the Academy of Military Sciences has a displacement of 15,000 tons and can carry 12 anti-submarine or armed helicopters, 800 marines and a small number of armored vehicles and tanks.

This is the first generation helicopter carrier with relatively single performance, but it has developed towards an amphibious assault ship.

Two light fleets will rush to the European battlefield from the north and south directions.

The first branch went all the way north, crossed the Bering Strait, then headed west, replenished supplies at the naval base on Wrangel Island, and then continued westward until it sailed to the Barents Sea.

During this process, Mao Xiong will also provide certain support and cooperation.

The second expeditionary fleet headed south, bypassing the ongoing war in Southeast Asia, and visited United States and other Allied naval forces in Guam, Papua Guinea, Australia and other places.

After replenishing supplies in Australia, it headed west, then stopped at places such as the Andaman Islands and Sri Lanka for supplies, and finally entered the Red Sea.

China's naval bases in the Red Sea and the Middle East have been completed, and the expedition fleet has its own military port to dock.

The two expeditionary fleets composed of new types of ships have no clear combat missions. The purpose of the General Staff is simple, which is to allow China's naval power to go out of the east and enter other oceans and battlefields.

As long as the two expeditionary fleets can successfully reach Europe, they will have completed the tasks assigned by the General Staff to the Navy.

The day after Pingjin and Jiangnan entered the fleet, the expedition fleet officially set sail.

Both fleets left from the Shanghai Naval Port, and Xie Chengrui and Xu Tingyi went to the naval port in person to see the fleet off.

"The significance of this expedition to the navy will be no less than the entry of the first super aircraft carrier!" Xie Chengrui said with some emotion:

"And it is of great significance to the country's long-term strategy and long-term development!"

Xu Tingyi's face was full of pride.

He was once a rear admiral who was idle at home. He never expected that one day he would watch with his own eyes the Chinese navy from scratch, from weak to strong, and finally to the number one position in the world.

Everything was like a dream, so fast that it was doubtful, and so powerful that it was unbelievable.

A reporter from the Peking Military Daily took a very meaningful photo at the Shanghai Naval Port.

The main subjects of the photo are Chief of General Staff Xie Chengrui and Navy Commander Xu Tingyi, but there is only one figure from behind. Both of them are looking at the two expedition fleets that are about to disappear on the sea level.

This photo was published in the military newspaper the next day, triggering the imagination of many people at home and abroad.

China dispatched an expeditionary fleet to the European battlefield. Naturally, such sensational news could not be hidden from the Allies and fascist countries.

The eyes of military and political officials from all over the world have once again turned to the East, this ancient, mysterious and vibrant land.

Newspapers in New York, Washington, London, Moscow and other places reported that their country's military and political officials had told them helplessly: China's naval strength has jumped to the first place in the world, reaching a level that is far beyond anyone's reach.

As soon as the report came out, it immediately aroused a lot of discussion.

The interior of the Allied navies was full of sour stench, and the fascist countries were horrified and helpless.

Generals MacArthur and Nimitz on the Eastern battlefield looked ugly. They thought they had the ability to dominate the entire battlefield.

But this is an illusion. In fact, it is the Chinese who have this ability.

Seeing the Chinese navy growing day by day with his own eyes, Nimitz felt very uncomfortable, even more uncomfortable than seeing the Japanese successfully develop a jet fighter.

They once again expressed their urgency and dissatisfaction to the Admiralty.

In the secret military base of the United States, super aircraft carriers and jet fighters are already training.

Compared with China's mature first-generation super aircraft carrier, the United States' one is obviously far behind.

The first is that they have not broken through the steam ejection technology, and the carrier-based aircraft uses a taxiing take-off method.

Secondly, technologies such as radar warning and torpedo warning on aircraft carriers are also immature, and their own protection capabilities are weak.

Finally, there are carrier-based aircraft. The number of carrier-based aircraft carried by the United States aircraft carriers is only 60.

Although they referred to China's jet carrier-based aircraft technology, they failed to develop a more advanced fighter. The performance of the first-generation jet fighter was similar to that of China's J-2.

The design of the aircraft carrier has been finalized, and multiple shipyards are working overtime to produce it.

Nimitz hoped that his Pacific Fleet would one day have a super aircraft carrier battle group.

………

Japan base camp.

After being hit by missiles and super flying fortresses, Tokyo has been unable to regain its former vitality, with industry paralyzed and commerce almost non-existent.

The production capacity of naval shipyards and steel plants is only 10%, which cannot meet the needs of the Navy Department.

There is an extreme shortage of industrial raw materials such as petroleum, iron ore!

Many factories have stopped production, workers have gone out of business, and schools have been closed.

But the crazy Japanese base camp will not let the people rest. They organize military training in the city and agricultural production in the countryside.

Elderly people in their 60s and 70s, and children as young as 11 or 12 years old all have to participate in agricultural production, and society does not support idlers.

The entire Japanese country has become a busy war machine without emotions, and an individual is not even a small screw in the war machine.

In such an era, personal emotions and needs are suppressed to a minimum.

Everything they did was for the victory of the war and the continuation of the nation.

Koiso Kuniaki's cabinet is gradually losing the trust of Emperor Hirohito, and life for everyone in the cabinet is getting harder and harder day by day.

China has commissioned two new super aircraft carriers and has two ocean-going fleets heading to other battlefields.

We cannot allow the Chinese to continue to be strong, the cabinet must take action.

We must change the situation of being passively beaten and inflict heavy losses on the Chinese people.

Koiso Kuniaki, Koga Mineichi, Doihara Kenji, Sugiyama Gen and others gathered together to discuss countermeasures.

In order to enhance the people's belief in resistance and improve the morale of the navy and army, Sakura fighter jets will continue to attack.

Doihara Ken 2 reported that preparations for an attack on the Huaxia Fengtian aircraft carrier battle group cruising in the Sea of Japan have been completed.
