Chapter 8 Reconciliation

Brian returned to Slytherin's lounge, packed up the textbooks he had placed in front of the fireplace, and yawned gently.

The harvest this time is pretty good.

[Witness and participate in the discovery of trap doors, witness point 0.5×2]

Because he participated in this whole process, he received double the testimony point, but he only got 1 point.

"The witness point is even rarer than I thought." Brian said, pinching his chin.

It was already late, and Brian returned to the dormitory, where the lights were turned off, and he heard Crab and Goll snoring one after another from a distance.

But tonight, Malfoy did not sleep. He sat straight on the four-poster bed, waiting for him in the dark.

"Where are you going, Brian?" he whispered, his gray eyes shining in the darkness.

"I want to know that you are not going to ruin my good things again?" Malfoy said in his mocking tone.

"Ah, Draco, I heard you, I was a little worried about you, so..." Brian said softly, this matter could not be hidden at all.

"I waited for Porter and the others, but I didn't wait for you, but I was almost caught by Felch." Brian said softly, "It seems that I did extra things. You did very smart things, and you never got tired of cheating, Draco."

"But you destroyed it again!" Malfoy's voice became loud. Crab and Gore were still sleeping very hard.

"I'm sorry for this. But if we had communicated in advance, it wouldn't have happened, right?" Brian said, spreading his hands.

"I don't need you to do extra things!" Malfoy said gritting his teeth.

"No, I think we are friends, Draco." Brian looked into Malfoy's eyes with a sincere expression and said in a gentle tone, "Friends should help each other."

Malfoy turned his head and snorted heavily.

"I think friends should support each other even if they have different ideas in some places, right?" Malfoy's soft voice raised his ears. "Maybe you and I can't understand each other's thoughts sometimes, but that's definitely not all of us."

"We have obviously more time to share language, right?" Bryan smiled.

"But your ruthless remarks..." Malfoy frowned.

"No, Draco, that's actually something that adults should consider. I'm just expressing some young and ignorant opinions." Brian interrupted him.

Brian said sincerely: "That's how I think, Draco, I want to get your approval, so I'll tell you what I think because you're my best friend."

Malfoy raised his chin and said proudly, "But I will not agree with your rebellious remarks. I will prove to you that I am right."

"So, this is just a little disagreement, and it won't affect our friendship. You'll keep it a secret for me, right?"

"Hmph, then I will reluctantly not tell my dad, but you have to think about how to buy me." Malfoy's chin was getting higher and higher.

"Of course. Then we've made up?" Brian smiled softly, thinking that this guy is really cute.

"Not counting, I will have to wait a few days before I forgive you." Malfoy pulled the curtain on the bed and hid himself inside.

Brian sat quietly in the darkness, his eyes calm and restrained.

...

In the following days, his relationship with Malfoy returned to his previous state.

They tacitly no longer mention the issue of ideas, nor interfere with each other's approach. In fact, apart from this matter, their relationship is closer.

Brian continued to learn magic cravingly, and Malfoy was also taken to learn for a few days, but he couldn't hold on for long and continued to provoke Harry Potter and his friends.

He acted like a naughty child who wanted to attract parents' attention and recognition. Brian commented.

He and Daphne didn't mention that night anymore, and the two were still good friends.

Hermione would have some small complaints in her letters. Of course, most of the time, they were communicating learning problems. Miss Wanshitong is like a small encyclopedia. If you have any questions, you are correct to ask her.

Harry's attitude towards him was much better, at least nodding to each other when meeting. But Ron still stubbornly believed that Brian was brewing a conspiracy, but was more sinister than Malfoy, and he believed that he had the responsibility to guard against him for Harry.

Without the novel, they are all living people, with their own joys, sorrows, sorrows, and joys, which are more three-dimensional and vivid than what is presented in the novel, making Brian feel at a loss.

This is a real world, but Brian is becoming more and more confused. Maybe he doesn't know what he is pursuing.

It seems that it just goes with the flow and just passes by.

When life becomes inertia, everything comes naturally.

Putting aside those confused things, Brian's learning is gradually getting on track, at least he can afford Professor Snape's praise for him in Potion class.

Snape always tirelessly looks for Harry's fault, so every time after Potion class, Harry is in a mess.

Of course, Brian and Malfoy became model students in Potion class. Snape praised them for doing a good job in each class and gave Slythering extra points.

And at this time, Malfoy would look proudly in Harry's direction, with an arrogant and provocative smile on the corner of his mouth, and even Brian felt that his hands were itchy and wanted to punch him.

Daphne is much more conventionate. She is not the best, but rarely makes mistakes. Recently, she has had some conflicts with Pansy Parkinson and complained to Brian that she never wants to pay attention to her anymore. Brian just patiently comforted her.

The children's joys and angers always come and go quickly, and soon she made up with Pansy again. Pansy is actually not too arrogant when facing friends. Most of the time, she is just an ordinary little girl. Although sometimes she speaks lightly or severely, it is easy to hurt her friends' hearts.

As for Crabbe and Goll, they were simply disaster. Brian thought so.

Brian tried to let them learn the transformations they had just learned, such as turning a match into a needle or something.

Crab always blew the matches into thin wooden thorns. They were as thin as cow's hair but could pierce through human skin, which forced them to spend a long time picking out the burrs that were stuck in their hands. Those days, the four people in their dormitory always felt irritable.

Obviously, Crab is not very good at fine magic. His style is very open and close, and he can make magic powerful, but his control is not enough.

Brian kept trying to warn him to practice control, but Crabb obviously didn't take it to heart.

As for Gole, it took him a week to barely turn the match into an unknown object that was crooked and worm-like. Malfoy secretly thought that he could not pass the O.W.L. exam, and Crab was also hanging.

But there is no doubt that Transformation is the most annoying course for the three of Malfoy. Malfoy always claims that he is not afraid of Professor McGonagall at all, and he just wants to maintain a gentlemanly demeanor in front of ladies.

It is worth mentioning that some time ago, Malfoy took him to watch a Quidditch game, and Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw, and Brian got a 0.1 witness point.

Although it was rare, God knows that he missed a few games. He was not keen on games like Quidditch before, and he felt that it was a waste of life.

Later, Brian took the initiative to watch every Quidditch game, making Malfoy mistakenly believe that he also loves Quidditch, and kept complaining to him that Gryffindor broke the rules, allowing Potter's scar head to join the hospital team in advance.

Of course, one very important thing is: Brian is finally able to start learning brain closure.

During this period, Brian learned the silent spell, which could eliminate his own sound. With this spell, after trying for a few nights, he finally successfully slipped into the forbidden book area and found the book "How to Close Your Brain".

It was like an ordinary book and had no threshold set, which made Brian breathe a sigh of relief.

You should know that most books in the forbidden book area have certain reading thresholds, and if they cannot pass, they will not be able to read them at all. Forcibly watching them will only hurt others and yourself.

For example, in the original work, Harry once sneaked into the forbidden book area and opened a book, which made a creepy scream. This is a test, and it is even more protective.

So Brian is not very interested in books in the forbidden book area at present.

Brian did not take it directly, he imagined the scene. Mrs. Pins would find a book lost in the forbidden book area the next day, and for a long time she would try to search the backpacks of every student entering the library, and stare at everyone with wide eyes.

He pulled out a roll of parchment, took out a quill, and cast a small spell on it, a spell he dubbed as a spell of rubbing. Its function was very simple, and he wrote the words he saw in front of him at a very fast speed.

Therefore, professors never assign copying homework.

Brian spent three nights successfully copying the book and officially began practicing brain closure.

After research, Brian discovered that it was a very profound magic, which caused great obstacles to him.

There are only a handful of wizards in the entire magic world who truly master the brain closure technique. But in contrast, most of those truly powerful wizards have mastered this magic, which can truly protect your brain.
