Chapter 58 Calm
"We have to admit that Voldemort is really back."
Dumbledore glanced at Brian intentionally or unintentionally and announced in a peaceful tone. Obviously, he was sure that Brian did it, but this did not prevent him from taking the opportunity to tell the fact.
There was a nervous whisper in the auditorium, and everyone stared at Dumbledore in horror and disbelief, as if expecting him to be just kidding.
"The Ministry of Magic doesn't want me to tell you this. Some parents of classmates may be shocked or unwilling to believe that Voldemort is back..." Dumbledore continued, "But I think that under the current situation, hiding from you is the greatest irresponsibility..."
"I think you're all very curious about what happened in the maze last night. I'll tell you what happened... But what I'm going to say is, please don't bother the Warriors anymore. They've all gone through a very bad journey," Dumbledore said.
"Last night, as you can see, we lost two excellent warriors. The dark wizard who broke into the maze was a follower of Voldemort, who was ordered to come here and attacked the warriors in a daze." Dumbledore said.
"Fortunately, we finally caught him, and Harry escaped from Voldemort's hands again... Let us know that Voldemort is not omnipotent, but one hand covers the sky."
"I am here to pay tribute to Harry Potter and to the fearless spirit he showed in the face of Voldemort's tyranny. I hope you understand that in the near future, only extraordinary courage and wisdom can protect us from harm."
Dumbledore said seriously, the atmosphere in the auditorium was very quiet and people were in a heavy mood.
Brees sat aside with a pale face, his fingers tightly pinched the spoon and bent the handle. His expression was very gloomy, and there was aura of no one entering the stranger. Theodore opened his mouth next to him, wanting to speak but stopping.
The breakfast ended in silence, and the little wizards left the auditorium in groups of three or three, discussing the matter with heavy expressions.
The final exams are over, and they will spend some time on campus next. But now, the little wizards are obviously not in the mood to run to Hogsmeade Village.
Cedric said a few words to his girlfriend Qiu Zhang, and then walked to Bryan alone. The group of people next to him looked at them, as if they wanted to ask them, but they had to hold it back.
"Are you okay, Brian?" Cedric said, his handsome eyebrows frowned deeply. "Do you want to... go to the school hospital to see them?"
"I'm fine, Cedric. Let's go together." Brian nodded. He said to Draco and the others, and walked out of the castle side by side with Cedric.
"How is Harry?" Cedric said in a low tone.
"He's in a good shape, I think..." Brian said, "although he did pass by death several times last night."
"Did you see?" Cedric stared at him with some nervousness, "His he really came back?"
Brian nodded, without saying anything.
Cedric took a deep breath and the expression on his face became firm.
"Last night, thank you for saving me. I didn't have time to thank you." Cedric said again.
"No need to thank you, in fact, I am saving myself too." Brian said lightly.
The two of them were talking in a mess, and the school hospital was near. When they walked in, Mrs. Pomfrey was sitting in a sleepy chair, and glaring at her annoyance after hearing the sound.
"Oh, it's you guys." Her anger subsided, and she said gently, "Are you here to see your friends? Potter is in the third room on the left. He drank sleeping pills last night and may not have woken up yet."
"Let's go see him... won't disturb him." Cedric let out a lighter voice.
The two men walked along the corridor under Mrs. Pomfrey's leadership, and Cedric asked, "Madam, are the others okay?"
"Oh, not good." Mrs. Pomfrey said sadly, "There are no big problems with the two young men of Demstrong. Beasley finally calmed down...but the girl of Boothbaton...ah, we can only send her to St. Mungo, hoping that she can get out of her pain."
She sighed, Harry's room arrived. They stood outside the door and looked at him. Harry had woken up and had already put on his clothes, as if he was about to go out.
The three of them stayed in the room, and the atmosphere was a little silent for a moment, as if everyone didn't know what to say.
"It's great that you're fine, Harry." Cedric broke the silence first.
"Luckily nothing happened to you..." Harry said sincerely, "And Brian... Sorry, I blamed you wrongly last night."
Brian shook his head and the atmosphere fell silent again. At this time, they obviously could not celebrate the victory of the game.
"What's wrong with Lopez?" Harry said, "I saw her being picked up by a group of people."
"She was hit by the Soul-Snatching Curse and killed Brand with her own hands." Brian's tone did not fluctuate.
"..." Harry opened his mouth and said reluctantly, "That's not her fault, right?" He stopped talking in a daze, thinking that if he was controlled and killed Ron and Hermione with his own hands... He dared not think about it anymore. If such a thing really happened, he would never forgive himself for his whole life.
They stayed for a while before they walked towards the castle together and said goodbye to each other in the foyer.
Brian walked up the stairs, and he was about to go to the house wherever he asked, which was also considered a leisurely escape.
As he climbed up to the third floor, he saw Luna again. She was looking at the view outside the window, and the black kitten, which seemed to be small, was lying on her messy hair.
Brian had a very strange feeling. He thought Luna was waiting for him here, not by chance, but waiting for him. He inexplicably believed this feeling.
"You're here, Brian." Luna turned her head, her tone light.
"Well, are you waiting for me?" Brian walked over, "Why are you here?"
"I think you'll come here." Luna smiled and widened her eyes, "So I'm waiting for you here."
"What if I didn't come?" Brian said in a hilarious way.
"Then there is nothing wrong with staying here." Luna pointed to the rippling lake outside the window, reflecting the golden sunshine like a mirror. "It's very beautiful here. I like these murals very much."
Brian looked at the murals hanging next to him, which were mostly filled with strange magical animals and fantasy species that were hard to see directly.
"Well, it's really unique," said Brian. "I think you might have the talent for prophecy?"
"The divination class is really interesting, but I'm afraid I don't have any talent." Luna said with a smile, lifting the black cat on her head down, holding it in her arms and rubbing it. She whispered: "Congratulations on winning the championship, and congratulations on your safety."
"Thank you for your protection," Brian sings the bracelet amulet that Yanluna gave him last year.
"You still carry it." Luna said, and then she thought seriously and said, "Maybe, I can make another crown of wisdom for you... Dad has developed a new inspiration propeller that can make people enter a state of advanced thinking, plus harassing siphons, and airship Li..."
Brian twitched the corners of his mouth, imagining himself wearing a weird crown. He said weakly: "Are you sure that something is useful?"
Luna thought about it seriously and said, "Well... at least when I put it on, my mind will turn very quickly."
"That's really good, I'm looking forward to it." Brian said softly, then said curiously, "What will you do during the summer vacation?"
Luna's light-colored eyes lit up instantly. She said in a daze: "I will go to the forest with my dad to find magical animals. The horned snoring beast is so timid, and it takes a lot of time to find them... Sometimes we stay at home, and my dad will write articles for the opposite tune, and I will help him check the information and make props."
"Actually, you can visit my house... There are many colorful fish on the valley bridge, and the soup is very delicious, and the Godigan tea made by my father..." Luna said with an ethereal voice.
"I'll go if I have time." Brian nodded with a smile, but sighed in his heart.
The two of them said some messy words, and Luna's topic was always wild, but Brian couldn't help but feel relaxed.
She always has a magic that makes people calm down, like a mysterious and beautiful nature.
"Do you want to see such a world? The wizard can walk freely in the Muggle world..." Brian asked softly before leaving.
"Of course, I'm looking forward to that day." Luna smiled brightly.
Brian continued to go up the stairs, but his steps became brisk. Perhaps Luna was comforting him in her own way.
Hogwarts fell into peace again, but this peace might not last long.
