Chapter 37 Quidditch Finals
Since Black broke into the castle for the second time, the school's safety measures have become more stringent. At night, no one is allowed to leave the common room, and the little wizard who comes out to stroll at night will be severely punished.
Hagrid's eagle-headed, horse-winged beast Buckbeck lost the case, which made the trio very worried and dissatisfied, and also became a catalyst for easing their relationship. Hermione apologized for the situation, and Ron also forgave her, of course not including the cat.
It is worth mentioning that when Draco once again spoke up for provocation and mocked them with Hager's affairs, Hermione slapped him hard, and everyone was shocked.
Draco unexpectedly left in shame without saying anything harsh words. His cheeks were swollen and a slap print was printed on them. Brian had to use a healing spell to allow him to see people.
"So, Draco, you will always suffer a loss like this." Brian said helplessly.
Draco stammered his neck and said, "I will make them look good!" He muttered something in a low voice, but did not go to his father about this, but later he became more serious when he was studying the spell.
Brees sometimes sneaks out mysteriously, but they are all seen by Theodore. Theodore feels that since Brees received several love letters and several bundles of flowers on Valentine's Day, he has become more and more fond of him going out to wander around the castle.
"I hope Brees isn't dating several girls..." Theodore muttered.
"How could it be? Didn't he already have a girlfriend?" Daphne said, "I don't believe Brees would do this."
"Maybe, we can think about it in another direction. At least Brees' aesthetic level is much more normal." Draco joked, "This is growth... I think his girlfriend is probably a strict girl."
Brian remained vigilant, which was not useless. Once he checked out the ingredients of the sleeping potion in his water cup. One night someone broke into his dormitory, and after being bitten by Overe, he ran away.
But the next day, Brian didn't see anyone with any injuries and poisoning, and it seemed that he was not from the school.
"It can't be Sirius Black." Brian thought. Unfortunately, the man hid his appearance and smell, so Over couldn't tell it.
But after that day, Harry and Hermione seemed to give up stalking him, making Brian feel much more comfortable.
During this period, Brian watched two more Quidditch games and gained a total of 0.2 witness points. His level of potions and alchemy has also been steadily improving, and both have reached the threshold of an expert level.
In the future, he was sitting quietly reading a book, with an extremely focused expression. Brian thought for a while, and leaned over with his pocket watch and said, "Change it?"
In the future, he sighed, took out his pocket watch and handed it over.
But when Brian just received it, the pocket watch broke into a pile of powder with a "bang". Brian blinked gently.
"We cannot exchange things because it will form a paradox, and time does not allow a paradox to appear." In the future, he said softly, "Did you see it? This is the power of time... I think if we try to provoke the rules of time with ourselves, this is our end."
"Interesting." Brian put his pocket watch back in his pocket and said lightly, "Time can give us gifts and destroy us, right?"
He sat back and took notes, and then continued to spread out the textbook.
Now Brian still treats a day as two days. He will leave enough rest time for himself, so he is in good spirits. All his homework is nothing to him.
But Hermione obviously didn't have such a complete plan. She looked exhausted under the chaotic time and more and more homework and was on the verge of collapse. She even forgot to go to the spell class.
Finally, in the divination class, when Trelawney told Harry again that he was approaching him, Hermione finally couldn't help but burst out. She had a fight with Trelawney, then left the divination class classroom directly, and declared that she would never come to class again.
"So, has the professor's prediction been fulfilled?" Daphne whispered, "Around Easter, one of us will leave us forever..." She remembered Trelawney's prediction about her, and seemed a little worried.
"I don't think this is true. Hermione didn't leave us 'forever'. You know, she's fine." Brian whispered.
"Yes, she's scared you!" Daphne smiled, "Say you were targeted by ominous... In fact, I think she has nothing else to say except ominous..."
Trelawney glared at her watery eyes, causing Daphne to stop talking.
After the Easter holiday, there was only one topic for everyone to discuss, that was the Quidditch final.
This game was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, which seemed particularly full of gunpowder. All students except Slytherin were supporting Gryffindor.
You know, except for the Quidditch match that was cancelled last year due to the attack, Slytherin has won the Quidditch Cup for eight consecutive years. Obviously, all other academies don’t want to see Slytherin continue to win.
"This shows how strong we are. They can only join forces to compete with us!" Flint, the captain of the Slytherin team, said inspiringly.
During the period before the competition, the relationship between the two academies was so tense that it was about to break out, and small melees often occurred in the corridor. Once, students from the two academies entered the school hospital, and leeks kept popping up in their ears.
Draco wanted to deal with Harry, but he found that there were a group of people guarding Harry wherever he went. He turned and secretly recited a curse to Ron, causing his head to swell into a big red balloon, and flew to the ceiling with his body.
This obviously stimulated the sensitive nerves of the two academies and almost triggered a big melee. Fortunately, Snape arrived in time. He commented on Ron floating in the air without any hesitation, and then drove away the Gryffindor wizards who were so angry that they blushed and had a thick neck.
As the game approached, Draco seemed a little anxious. As a Slytherin's golfer, he was under a lot of pressure against Harry, who had a firebolt. For this reason, he devoted a lot of time to training. It can be seen that Draco really loves Quidditch.
Brian couldn't help with this. In fact, as long as Draco was serious, his level was still very good.
"But, Quidditch is not a fair sport," Brian sighed. "But what is absolutely fair in this world?"
Finally, the day of the finals has come. Draco's face is pale, which makes the Daphne sisters worry very much.
The stands next to the court were filled with people, with three-quarters of the audience waving red flags painted with Gryffindor lions. Green and silver accounted for only one-quarter, gathering behind Slytherin's goal post, Snape sat in the first row with a gloomy smile on his face.
As Mrs. Huo Qi blew the whistle, the two teams staring at each other like unimaginable enemies flew to the sky at the same time, and the game was extremely intense at the beginning.
This is not just a game, it is simply a mess. The players from the two academys collided with each other, wanting to knock the opponent off the broom; the bat that hit the roaming ball would always accidentally hit the opponent's head; the player who should have grabbed the ghost flying ball instead grabbed the opponent's head, and the two players were both attacked by the roaming ball and surrounded by the opponent's players.
Lee Jordan, who was in charge of the commentator, cursed, and the little wizards in the audience were also crowded together with excitement. The screams, curses and booed made it even louder than the vegetable market. Brian was squeezed aside by the little wizards, rubbed his forehead and walked to the end of the audience.
Luna also stood in the audience at the end and watched. She was not wearing any accessories and her eyes were wide open to watch the game.
"Why, don't like Quidditch?" Brian said with a smile.
"Well, I don't like it." Luna said in a daze, but her ethereal voice could easily be distinguished in a noisy environment.
"I'm about the same..." Brian said, "Human joys and joys are not connected. I just think they are noisy?"
Luna blinked slowly and suddenly burst into a sharp laugh. She laughed so hard that she bent over and covered her abdomen.
Brian rubbed his forehead and seemed a little helpless. He couldn't figure out which one Luna thought was so funny.
On the field, Gryffindor was already 60 points ahead, and Draco grabbed Harry's broom to prevent him from catching the golden thief.
The commentator was scolding, and even Professor McGonagall shouted in anger, waving his fist at Draco, and even disregarding the hat on his head.
Luna finally stopped laughing. She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and couldn't help laughing from time to time.
"I think this is very interesting." She said seriously and couldn't help laughing again.
"Yes, I find it difficult to understand." Brian smiled. The two of them smiled and turned to look at the field.
Draco discovered the golden snitch and rushed over. Harry chased after him, chased Draco at his feet, and stood side by side with Draco... Finally, he blocked Draco's arm and grabbed the golden snitch first.
The game is over.
