Chapter 61 Broken

Brian walked slowly in the streets, watching the prosperous and bright lights and wine in the rain.

"It's all a dream..." Brian laughed at himself, "Is this 'death'?"

He returned home, his parents were looking through an album when they saw Brian coming back and waved to him.

"Look, photos of you when you were a child." The father smiled and said, "It was so interesting that your mother found out when she cleaned today."

Brian looked through and found him dressed as a little girl, wearing a red skirt, his face was painted like a monkey's butt, and a red dot was pointed between his eyebrows.

"Yes, it's very interesting." Brian whispered. He looked up at the two of them. Time made them no longer young, but their relationship was still deep.

"How is the girl today?" After reading the album, my father said.

"It's pretty good, but I really don't have the intention." Brian shook his head.

"You don't like anyone. Are you planning to live your own life in the future?" The father said angrily.

"Don't worry, I know what I should do." Brian said with a smile.

The family of three sat on the sofa and talked, singing shows were played on the TV, and the puppy raised at home ran over and wagged his tail.

It was late at night and they returned to their respective bedrooms. Brian sat by the window, looked at the rich night outside, and sighed slightly.

This may be the most perfect life he had expected in his previous life.

"But all dramas have an ending, and all dreams will wake up eventually." He said softly, "It's time to end."

He turned off the light, walked out of the bedroom, looked at his parents' bedroom, and walked out of the door with a slight touch.

"Goodbye..." He said softly.

Go up the stairs and up, open the door of the rooftop, and the dark clouds have dissipated. The stars are very bright tonight. The wind whistled through his ears, as if telling something.

He walked forward, walking, spreading his arms as if he wanted to embrace the gorgeous night.

"No!" A call came from behind, shrill and hoarse.

He turned around and looked at his mother looking at him in tears, calling his name, but it was so long that it was hard to hear. His father frowned and slowly approached, grinned, stretched out a hand, and called him hoarsely, but it seemed to come from the distant horizon.

"I can't let myself indulge in dreams. In reality, someone is waiting for me." Brian said softly.

"I think death is just an end to a dream, wake up and start a new journey." He murmured, "I am grateful for this blurry and dazzling dream, but I must leave..."

"Sorry, I hope you will be happy in your dreams."

He leaned back with his arms wide open, but seemed to be pulled by many people, stopping him. A familiar call sounded in his ears, which was the call of his parents, friends, and all those who cared about him, and wanted to pull him back.

Brian leaned back unswervingly, ignoring the panic and fear that surged in his heart, and ignoring the sad and desolate calls. He had never been so firm.

His body fell from the roof of a tall building and fell.

The strong wind whistled in his ears, and he felt like his soul was out of his body. He couldn't breathe, his heart was beating wildly, and his blood seemed so cold that he was about to freeze his whole body...

"Bang—" Brian's body fell to the ground, but his soul seemed to float in the sky, watching the scene.

His soul continued to rise, and the world was like a spiraling kaleidoscope in front of him, and soon turned into a hazy and chaotic color, and finally turned into a dazzling pure white, which made him unable to help but close his eyes.

When he opened his eyes again, a sound of a mirror breaking came from beside him. Bryan looked around, and pieces of fragments drifted and shattered, turning into starlight, dissipating into the darkness.

He felt his feet empty and stood on the ground again.

What a fantastic scene around it!

The sky and the earth are both black and there is no edge. Several picture frames float in the air not far from the ground, emitting subtle light. They rotate slowly, like paintings, or like doors.

In the darkness further away, a warm light bloomed quietly, attracting him strongly and making him feel creepy.

Brian did not act rashly, he first checked his situation.

He was wearing the clothes in his dream, and under his imagination, the clothes immediately turned into a black wizard robe.

He touched his cheek, his expression slightly calmed.

"My soul is the same as my current body... what Brian Foley looks like." Brian pondered, "It's really a simple time travel? But the time is wrong..."

He closed his eyes and focused on finding the system. A line of cloud-like handwriting appeared in his mind.

"The system is still there..." Brian pondered, "that is, the system is related to my soul, but it is not the soul that is entrusted to me."

This discovery made him feel a little relieved. At least he was not related to things like Horcrux.

"So, try the testimony point." Brian looked at the 8 testimony points he had saved and added two of them to memory, so that it could be improved to master level. His thinking ability instantly improved a lot.

From the perspective of the soul, everything seems to be traceable.

What surprised Brian was that there seemed to be no power in the system, but his soul interacted with something, and then his memory ability improved out of thin air.

"And that thing..." Brian looked at the halo in the distance, "is it related?"

"It seems that there is also the key to really solving all this." Brian frowned slightly.

"So, can I use magic?" he thought.

As he had such thoughts arose, a magic wand appeared out of thin air in his hands. He recited a spell and saw with some relief that his power was similar to that in reality.

He turned his eyes to the frame around him, and in the first frame, he saw Daphne sleeping in the painting with her hands, wearing a pure white dress, a beautiful garland on her head, and a sweet smile on her mouth, like a beautiful oil painting.

"Daphne?" Brian carefully placed his hand on the painting, but could not touch her. He pondered for a moment, raised his wand and said, "Resurrection quickly!"

The frame instantly shattered and turned into tiny spots of light. Daphne fell out of the painting and was caught by Brian waving his wand.

"Daphne!" Brian shook her shoulders and whispered her name.

"Well..." Daphne let out a low murmur, then opened her eyes, and the shadow of Brian was reflected in her blue eyes.

"Bryan, you're here." She laughed in confusion and rubbed her eyes gently, "I'm going to find you..."

"Wake up, Daphne. Do you remember what happened?" Brian said softly.

"I'm very awake..." Daphne looked around, looking a little confused, and gradually, her eyes lit up.

"I remembered it, I tasted the potion made by Pansy, and then fainted..." She blushed, "and I've been in my dream..."

"You haven't tried to break free from this dream?" Brian said.

Daphne recalled everything in her dream, and didn't know what she thought of, her cheeks flushed. She lowered her head, only her blushing forehead, and said in a low voice: "I...I didn't realize it was a dream. It was very real and long..."

Brian nodded in contemplation. He felt that this was one of the changes in "death": the dream became too perfect and real.

So the little wizards were trapped in their dreams and found no problems at all.

The reason why he was able to successfully discover problems was obviously because he had two lives. The two life scenes were combined, so that there was a sense of incongruity everywhere. But even so, he spent a lot of time discovering the truth in his dreams.

"So, you've also experienced a life?" Brian asked.

"No, I have experienced several life, but now I can't remember it very clearly when I think about it." Daphne said in contemplation, "It seems that every time I have experienced birth, old age, sickness and death, but they are perfect..." Her cheeks turned red again, but her eyes were also flashing with yearning and expectation.

Brian nodded slightly.

"It seems that death is the only way out of dreams, but it must be to actively embrace death." He said softly.

Slytherin's arrangement may also mean that he hopes that the heirs can face their hearts, firmly get rid of the beautiful temptations in their dreams, overcome the fear of death, and truly experience death.

This is a spiritual experience in itself.

Brian sighed slightly as he thought about everything in his dream.
