Chapter 044 The Tempered Old Monk

Maotai Mountain is famous because it has many Taoist temples and temples on the mountain.

The most famous of them, which can be called the leader of the two, represents Wufang Temple and Duyun Temple.

Both of them have the most incense in Maotai Mountain and have the most believers. They also occupy the two best peaks in Maotai Mountain, Tongtian Peak and Lingyun Peak.

Why is it the best mountain? Suisui's explanation is that these two peaks happen to be the gathering points of spiritual energy, and then spread to other peaks to form a natural "spirit gathering array".

Of course, this is the second most "spirit gathering array", and the effect is very average. Otherwise, there would be no turn to the Wufang Temple and Duyun Temple in Maotai Mountain.

"What do you mean is that Duyun Temple is also a sect of cultivation, but they are the ones who practice Buddhism?"

After coming to Maotai Mountain, Chen Hao came into contact with the world of cultivation, so he was still curious about these things. After all, he had never encountered them before.

Of course, Chen Hao showed curiosity and was not shocked. He had seen the gods, and there was a daughter of the Nine-tailed Heavenly Fox by his side. What's wrong with the cultivation sect? It's not as good as my daughter!

“That’s right!”

"Those bald donkeys are much more stubborn than me. If you want to go, be careful!"

Taoists from Wufang are quite disliked the monks in Duyun Temple. Not only are the two sects in a competitive relationship, but they also have different ideas. They have deep prejudices to each other in practice, which is called the gateway view.

"Okay, I know, we are not going to cause trouble, we are afraid!"

"Uh-huh!"

"If they don't know each other's face, I will teach them an unforgettable lesson!"

Sui Sui, who was just growing up today, put his hands on his hips and said this with a strong momentum.

After saying goodbye to the Wufang Taoist, Chen Hao took Sui Sui to Lingyun Peak.

(A Taoist priest with a mobile phone will naturally be able to contact you after adding a V. In the era of technology, what else do you need to send a thousand miles of voice transmission?)

The straight line distance between Lingyun Peak and Tongtian Peak is not far away. Looking at each other from afar, you can see Lingyun Peak by standing on the top of Tongtian Peak.

However, it takes a long mountain road to get from Tongtian Peak to Lingyun Peak. You go down first and then go up. It took you nearly two hours to get there based on Chen Hao's footsteps.

"It's so tired. I'm old and I can't keep up with my physical strength!"

Chen Hao wiped the sweat from his forehead and finally arrived at the top of Lingyun Peak, so tired that he was panting.

Sui Sui naturally thoughtfully patted Chen Hao's back, but he didn't feel anything at all. He went up the top of the mountain without sweating.

Duyun Temple has a grand mountain gate. Even the incense burner outside the mountain gate is full of incense, with believers and ordinary tourists coming in a row, no worse than the Wufangguan.

What, do you ask Duyun Temple if there is any so-called VIP charging item?

Haven’t you seen the man wearing a monk’s uniform and still has long hair? That’s the lay disciple of Duyun Temple. As for how much money it cost, it’s a business secret... No, it’s a huge merit!

Unlike Wufang Temple, Duyun Temple has more fireworks, obviously because there are too many tourists burning incense.

Chen Hao took Sui Sui into Duyun Temple. Unlike the elegant and unworldly realm of Wufangguan, the Buddhist Dharma here is solemn, and from time to time you can hear the sound of chanting sutras and chanting Buddha's name coming into your ears.

Come to the Main Hall, which is the most magnificent building of a temple, and there happens to be a Buddhist scripture preaching by the abbot.

At the front is an old monk wearing a gorgeous cassock. His face looks a little old, but he is full of energy. He is obviously a practitioner, full of energy and a loud voice, which makes those believers unconsciously fascinated.

The abbot’s Dharma name - Fayun!

"oh--"

"Uh-huh!"

"So that's it, so that's what happened!"

"Dad, do you understand what the old monk is saying?"

Chen Hao nodded from time to time below and agreed, looking like I was Brother Dong, which aroused Sui's curiosity.

"Ah? No, it's just that he's so hard and cooperates with him, otherwise it would seem a bit disrespectful, right?"

Chen Hao was serious, but in fact he didn't understand Buddhism at all. To put it bluntly, he had no research on Buddhism and Taoism, and was not very interested. This is probably what is called a scene-by-scene act.

And after visiting Duyun Temple just now, I found that it was not much different from ordinary temples. If you want to say anything, there are probably some buildings that look quite luxurious. Those may be the highest-level wing rooms prepared for VIP guests, just like Wufang Temple.

"Gee!"

Sui Sui was amused by Chen Hao and laughed happily.

By chance, it happened to be the time when Old Monk Fayun paused, and he heard this crisp laughter, which seemed very abrupt in the solemn hall.

"Who disturbed the silence of the Buddhist temple?"

The voice of the old monk Fayun resounded in every corner of the Great Hall, with an extraordinary majesty that made ordinary people unconsciously want to worship.

“emmm…”

"This old monk's cultivation seems to be stronger than the Little Mavericks (specially referring to the Taoist priests of Wufang, "Cow's Nose"), but it's still not enough."

Sui Sui stared at the old monk Shiyun for a while, then showed an indifferent expression and said without hesitation.

"Hmm? Demonic energy?"

"A bold monster, dare to trek into the Buddhist holy land! I really don't know what it means, I want your true form to be revealed!"

The old monk Fayun sensed keenly and noticed the faint demonic aura emitted from Sui Sui. He had the same reaction as the Taoist in Wufang and immediately wanted to subdue Sui.

Unlike the Taoist in the Five Directions, the former is the result of the demon subduing to increase the fame of the Five Directions, which is similar to the effect of hype.

The old monk Fayun couldn't rub half a grain of sand in his eyes. A demon clan broke into his Duyun Temple and had to rectify the Dharma.

"Why are there any new ones?"

Sui Sui pouted and looked at the old monk Fayun coming towards him with a fierce momentum, feeling it was boring.

"presumptuous!"

"Prajnapa is empty! Purple gold bowl, go!"

The old monk Fayun could not feel the strong demonic aura in Sui Sui, and felt that it was just a little demon who accidentally broke into Duyun Temple. So he recited the magic spell and released the purple gold bowl in his hand, intending to directly include Sui Sui.

The purple gold bowl was activated and flew into the air. A golden light shot out from the hole, covering Sui Sui.

After watching the ordinary people in the hall, they widened their eyes and thought they were filming and the special effects were done well!

"Good daughter, are you okay?"

Chen Hao, who was standing by, was used to the strong winds and waves, and was not too panicked. He whispered to ask Sui Sui if it was okay.

"Don't worry, I'm sorry~"

Sui Sui made an "OK" gesture at Chen Hao, indicating that this level of purple gold bowl is no different from a bathroom heater. He even felt cold when taking a bath in winter, thinking whether he wanted to find a professional to repair it.
