51. Meet the Angels

Chamberlain got rid of those crazy fans. Of course, maybe they didn't really love basketball. The reason why they showed such enthusiasm for him was just to get an autograph or a photo from him, and then go to friends and relatives to show off.

He simply disguised himself, put on big sunglasses, and then went to a barber shop to get a big bald head for himself. He used to be proud of his flowing black short hair, but now everything about him disappeared with the disappearance of Samar.

Chamberlain felt that he was very unpromising. In the past eighteen years, he had not had that strong body. Didn’t he live well?

He persuaded himself with such words, but Chamberlain knew that it was useless. The most painful thing in the world was not what he lost, but what he gained first and then lost!

Sadmons received a call from Chamberlain and rushed over quickly. When he saw Chamberlain, he took a breath and shouted: "Hey, Z, what's wrong with you? I've never seen you so badly except for the day when you were convicted of Giant disease four years ago!"

Chamberlain smiled bitterly and shook his head and said, "It was not as bad as it was four years ago now. Don't talk about me anymore. What were you doing before? I thought you would be at home."

Sadmons pulled Chamberlain to a cold drink shop and ordered two glasses of iced coffee - this is how the United States likes to drink cold food no matter what day. Now it's almost Christmas, and it's snowing outside, but the cold drink shop is still popular. Even in the bar, Americans must put a lot of ice in the cup if they drink something.

"I have to find something to do, man." Sadmons laughed, revealing his white teeth. "Do you know, I learned about the Middle East recently, I mean Iraq. You may not understand, Z, our government has committed a heinous crime there, Saddam may be a bad guy, but what does this have to do with the people of Iraq?"

Chamberlain was listless, but Sardmons became more and more excited: "The people there lived a miserable life, especially the children, Z. From the first second I learned about it, I knew what I should do for the rest of my life. I want to join the Anti-War Alliance and I want to atone for what our government has done."

"Missing?" Chamberlain sneered and curled his lips, "I don't believe that there are people in this world who are more miserable than me."

Sardmons repeatedly asked him what happened, but how did Chamberlain explain? Could it be that he made a deal with the devil and he did not give enough chips. Did the devil take back his abilities? Oh, it's not a devil, but actually an alien, but what's the difference? If Sardmons believes in him, he will be awesome!

Chamberlain's sigh finally angered Sardmons. He lifted Chamberlain up and pointed at his knees and shouted: "What the hell are you crazy about? I don't know what you have encountered. Maybe you wanted to pick up a girl and then was rejected. Don't the stars just like to do such things? But fuck, I tell you, don't show off your stinky look in front of me OK? Look at my knees, it's fucking finished. Maybe I have to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, or maybe I'm holding a crutch, but have I said anything in front of you? Have I complained about anything? Pay more attention to the Middle East and you will know how lucky it is to be able to live and play basketball now. It's a damn thing!"

Chamberlain's mood was much more excited by Sardmons' scolding. Yes, he was actually lucky enough to get at least an eight million contract. You should know that the first year of his contract was guaranteed. No matter what, the Warriors had to pay him the money, otherwise they would have to pay a higher penalty for liquidated damages.

"Thank you, brother." Chamberlain said in his sincere eyes, "Yes, I'm actually lucky enough. I shouldn't expect to get more."

Sardmons smiled. He was a little too excited about what happened just now. He thought for a while and said, "It's not right for me to do that just now. Let's do it like this. I'll invite you to dinner."

Chamberlain shrugged indifferently and said lazyly: "Sorry, I have no appetite now."

Sardmons smiled mysteriously and said, "Come with me, you will have an appetite."

I took a taxi and under the guidance of Sardmons, the car turned left and right, and finally stopped at a dilapidated fast food restaurant. This kind of fast food restaurant is very common in Soul Ballet City, just like various small restaurants in Chinese cities, mainly offering some cheap burgers, which may have a lot of chicken, beef and other things, but don’t want to be hygienic, and of course don’t expect how good the taste is.

"It's here?" Chamberlain looked at Sadmons suspiciously. He was from a slum and knew too much about this small fast food restaurant. He wouldn't believe it if he had any delicious food here.

Unlike China, small fast food restaurants and small restaurants in the United States will never have any exclusive food made with special secret recipes. This is related to the American way of eating and people's values. In the United States, any chef with some skills will work in large and medium-sized hotels, where they can enjoy a better life.

At this time, a timid voice sounded, gentle and quiet, as if it was the sound of the wind chimes in the quiet wilderness: "Sir, what do you want to eat? Do you want a milk chicken juice burger? That's our specialty and it tastes delicious."

Chamberlain looked back and was shocked. Under a window, warm sunlight spilled in through the mottled glass, and a girl about thirteen or fourteen years old was looking at the two of them.

Bathed in the sun, the girl's straight and soft long hair shone with a light golden light, as if there was golden sand flowing through her hair. Her delicate skin was like a piece of white warm jade, her eyes were as beautiful as crystal diamonds, her facial features were delicate and graceful, and her willow waist was slender. She looked like a little angel falling from the sky.

The only regret is that there is a big birthmark on the girl's right cheek, and the purple-red birthmark almost covers half of her face. In this way, if you don't look at her front face but look from the left side, you will be almost perfect like a goddess.

It is not the first time that Sadmons has come here to eat. He ordered sausages, fried chicken fillets and burgers. The girl smiled with satisfaction and turned to the counter. She walked with her steps light and rhythmic, like a cheerful deer, who should have a dance skills.

"How about it, are you hungry?" Sadmons winked at Chamberlain, "Can the little star you are pursuing or some famous lady bet that match Shirley? Just go for a laser birthmark surgery, I bet that this girl can win the championship even if she participates in the Miss America Competition."

He still misunderstood Chamberlain and thought that this guy was troubled by emotional problems. In fact, Chamberlain now wants a girl to be conquered by him so that his agreement with Samar can continue.

Chamberlain rolled his eyes, took out his cell phone and went to the corner to continue contacting Samar, but no one answered the phone when it was connected. Chamberlain sighed melancholy, turned his head but was startled. At some point, the beautiful girl stood behind him, blinking her beautiful big eyes and looking at him curiously.

"Mr. Chamberlain?" the girl asked tentatively.

After entering the small restaurant, Chamberlain had taken off his sunglasses, and he shrugged, which was equivalent to admitting his identity.

The girl didn't ask him for any autograph or photo. She just hesitated for a moment, lowered her head and crushed the rough floor with her toes, and asked in a low voice: "Can I use your phone? I want to call my mother, our phone number has been shut down due to arrears."

Chamberlain handed the phone to the girl and said generously: "You call, I have a lot of phone bills."

The girl happily took the phone, and wiped her little hand on Chamberlain's big hand, leaving a cool and smooth feeling.

The Sardmons ordered very simple food, and the girl quickly sent it over. Although the fast food restaurant is small, the food is very exquisite. There is even a lace parasol on the huge burger, which looks like a small beach.

The girl put down the plate, and at this time a fat man staggered in from outside the door. After entering the room, he shouted: "Hi, Shirley, you damn girl, where have you been? Did you run away with a stinky man? Come here, I want to have a meal..."

Chamberlain thought this man was here to make trouble, so he rolled up his sleeves and stood up. His career in the court these days has brought him quite anger.

When the fat middle-aged man saw the girl, he staggered to Chamberlain and Sadmons, pulled a chair and sat down. As soon as the man approached, Chamberlain smelled a strong smell of alcohol. There was a strange smell in the smell of alcohol, which revealed sweetness in the spicy taste. As a child who grew up in the slum, he was very familiar with this smell, which was the residual smell after the burning of marijuana!

The girl obviously handled this scene easily. She apologized to Chamberlain and Sadmons first and whispered: "Sorry, this is my dad. He may be drunk again, please don't mind too much."

After apologizing, the girl struggled to pull the man's arm away, but the man's body was extremely fat, probably heavier than Chamberlain, who was 2.16 meters tall. Compared with her, the girl was like a small willow tree. Chamberlain couldn't bear to see it in the end, so he grabbed the man's shoulder and pulled him into the counter.

The girl looked at Chamberlain gratefully and exclaimed in admiration: "You are so powerful, no wonder the fans call you SUPER-Z."

After letting the girl say this, Chamberlain suddenly felt something was wrong. He felt that his strength was declining significantly, whether in the gymnasium or elsewhere, but now he probably had to drag the fat man who weighed 250 pounds, but he didn't have much effort. This shouldn't be the case.
