With a domineering air relay, Chamberlain began his charge without regard for his physical strength.
He still can't control his strength well now, so free throws and shooting are not very reliable for him. Although he stood on the free throw line, the Spurs players didn't care. Oberto was repeatedly insulted under his hands, hated him, and sneered: "Rookie, don't throw this ball into your backyard."
Chamberlain skillfully slapped the ball. He held the ball firmly with his right hand, and gently held the ball from the side with his left hand. The arm of his right arm bent to ninety degrees. The moment he took action, his wrist trembled vigorously.
This is not a shot, but a stiff pushing out the ball, just like throwing a shot put.
Duncan, Oberto and Petrus rushed to the basket together. Everyone knew that this free throw was absolutely hopeless. They pushed and shoved and jumped up, with the targets being the basketball.
The basketball did not make any shots, not only did it not make it into the ring, but it did not even hit the ring, and directly hit the rebound and rebounded.
The curve of the ball rebounded was very stiff. Duncan and the other three did not catch the ball after jumping up. The ball directly crossed the top of their heads and bounced back.
"Scream!" Chamberlain shouted angrily after taking the free throw. When the ball hit the ring, he immediately took a big step and stepped into the penalty area with his left foot. When his body was short, his calf muscles exerted force, leaning on his body like a strong bow pulled by a warrior. With the moment of Feng Leimo, he raised his right hand and grabbed the basketball that was bouncing in the air in his hand. Then his body fell to the ground, jumped up again, and flew straight into the sky from the gap between the three.
"Bang!" Chamberlain poured the ball into the basket with one hand. The atmosphere in the Oracle Arena was ignited to the extreme by his self-snatching. Almost all the fans stood up and cheered loudly. Some weak-body fans covered their chests and gasped, and were very excited by Chamberlain.
The commentator also cheered, and Barry and the other two high-fives said incredibly: "Where does such a beast appear? God, this shouldn't be. We have a sound athlete discovery system. Such a talented guy should have become famous all over the world. Why haven't I heard of his reputation?"
Barnett speculated excitedly: "I once watched a movie that talks about Eastern mythology. The protagonist in it is a monkey. He has super skills and is much more powerful than Superman and Iron Man. That guy came out of the stone. I think SUPER-Z is the same!"
Fitz looked at Barnet with disdain and said, "You can pull it down, how could the stone give birth to monkeys? You can tell at first that your creatures in middle school were definitely not qualified. But I bet that no matter where this kid came from, the head coaches of the other twenty-nine teams in the league must be coveting him."
Chamberlain was a little too hard and did not stand firm when he landed. After getting up, he glared at Oberto and shouted: "Old bird, does your butt hurt? I'm hitting the ball into your team's anus. Is it so good?"
Oberto was humiliated and clenched his fists and wanted to find Chamberlain to use violence to argue. Duncan pulled him, served Parker, and said in a deep voice: "No need to say more, attack!"
Parker is now the top defender in the league. After polishing by Popovich, this unknown French boy in the draft turned into a sharp knife on the league's back line. His attack was extremely sharp, and his defense was as strong as Davis, but he could barely limit him. Now, if he was replaced by Azubuk, Parker's advantages were fully displayed.
Upon pushing to the frontcourt, Parker stood at the top of the three-point line, Duncan lifted him up and picked and rolled him, Parker stepped out his legs, and threw Azubuk away like a whirlwind and rushed inward.
Chamberlain stared at Parker, who was not afraid and kept changing directions and jumping into the inside line. After entering the penalty area, he immediately jumped up.
Everyone thought Parker was going to shoot, everyone thought Chamberlain would jump up with Parker, but everyone was wrong.
Chamberlain did not jump up, Parker jumped together, and he immediately rushed towards Duncan who was following the side. Seeing this, the latter changed his expression and shouted: "Pack, don't spread..."
His reminder was too late, or Parker had already formed a conditioned reflex: this is a tactic, after the pick-and-roll, it formed a misaligned attack, Parker attracted the inside into the penalty area, Duncan formed an internal and external misalignment with his opponent at a high position, and then passed the ball back, Duncan used his height to bully his opponent and scored a mid-range shot.
Parker jumped up and passed the ball back, but before the ball flew to Duncan, a big hand appeared out of thin air and intercepted the ball with one hand!
"Oh! This rookie's ball quotient is too high. Oh my god, he is so smart. He guessed his opponent's thoughts and completed an incredible interception!" Barnett said excitedly, "I bet, guys, this kid has an amazing future, and his reputation will surely shock the entire league!"
Chamberlain grabbed the ball, Ellis and Azubuk turned to a fast break, and the others followed up. The Spurs hurriedly returned to defense, but it was too late, because the Warriors are playing small ball tactics now, Pitrus, Ellis, Azubuk and Barnes. The three of them are either defenders or small forwards, all of whom are good at speed. When they started charging, a team like the Spurs, which is a normal team, was beyond the reach of them, and could only watch their opponents break into their penalty area.
Now Parker is trapped in the backcourt penalty area, and Duncan is blocked by Chamberlain again. The only person who can participate in the defense is Ginobili. As for Finley, with his age, how can he fight Ellis and other people in a speed battle?
Ellis happily reached the frontcourt. He attracted Ginobili from the wing and finally passed the ball to Barnes. The latter rushed to the basket after receiving the ball, jumping into the air and dunked.
The Warriors' momentum was completely aroused, and Popovich sat on the bench anxiously. He had just called a timeout, but of course he could not call a timeout anymore. He could only shout off the court: "Rhythm, hold on to the rhythm!"
"Press your sister." Chamberlain glanced at Popovich disdainfully. He stood in the penalty area. This time he didn't go to focus on Duncan, but he just helped and repaired defense regardless of his physical strength.
Chamberlain, who was fully exerted, was like a mad bull. He was everywhere he had the ball. His speed and flexibility were perfectly displayed at this moment. The Spurs were known as the first in the league system, and they were in order in both attack and defense. However, with the stirring stick of Chamberlain, the entire Spurs' line collapsed.
Duncan held the ball, and Chamberlain emerged; he passed the ball to Finley, Finley broke through Ellis' defense and wanted to make a layup, and Chamberlain appeared in front of him; Finley had no choice but to pass the ball to Ginobili, the Argentinian swung over Azubuke's defensive jump shot, Chamberlain suddenly appeared and slapped the ball to him...
In desperation, Duncan could only make a strong attack. He is a powerful inside player with a large number of numbers in the league. He is famously strong in NBA history. But today he met Chamberlain, a lunatic, and he couldn't help it.
Popovich hoped that his players would foul Chamberlain and used his passion to blow him off the court early, but he underestimated Chamberlain. Although the latter was in full swing at this time, his inside and mind remained calm, wild but impeccable. In addition, this was the Warriors' home court, and the referee only blew his two fouls at the end of the third quarter.
On the offensive end, Chamberlain only adopted two tactics, either holding the ball directly in the penalty area, or attracting the defense and passing the ball after getting the ball. His ball quotient and physical fitness combined make him a powerful panacea.
At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Chamberlain was still on the court. He was completely rushing and jumping wildly, and at any cost, he wanted to smash the Spurs' line.
His goal was achieved. By the fourth quarter, the Spurs had already trailed by 15 points at 80:95, which was unpredictable before the game. Everyone knew that the score difference in this game would be very large, but what they thought was that the Spurs would lead the Warriors a lot.
No one expected that the defending champion team would be beaten so miserably. The culprit of all this was just a rookie who had just entered the league for a few days!
Although they were behind double digits, Popovich did not want to admit defeat, and the Spurs would not admit defeat. The resilience of this team is the strongest among the 30 teams in the league. They would never admit defeat in less than the last second. Therefore, in the eyes of the Spurs soldiers, the fourth quarter became a decisive game.
Popovich replaced Bowen, who had been pressed on the bench, and at the last moment, this veteran could suppress the scene. There was a problem with the Spurs' defense line now, and Ellis and Azubuk killed him, especially the former, who had already scored 30+ in the third quarter. This game was directed towards the personal scoring record, and someone had to nail him to death.
If possible, Popovich didn't want Bowen to play in this game because he didn't want to stimulate the situation on the court. But Bowen couldn't do it anymore. Chamberlain was enough to give them a headache in the inside, but Ellis from the outside played again and could no longer defend himself.
Sure enough, as soon as Bowen came on the court, the Oracle Stadium suddenly turned into a powder barrel. The fans were excited, and some people were still yelling even though their voices were hoarse:
"Executioner, kill the executioner!"
"Damn San Antonio Black Cowboy, God curses you! You will die of a broken ankle!"
"SUPER-Z, kill him and make him look good, and make him tremble when he hears our Warriors' name in the future!"
Bowen doesn't care about the threats from fans. He doesn't know how many threats he has heard in his career. Now he opens his email every day, and the most emails are threatening letters from fans from all over the world. But what's the matter? He is not alive yet.
Seeing Bowen appear on the stage, Chamberlain grinned friendly, which surprised Bowen a little. Could it be that this kid is just a silver-like gun head? He was worried about causing violent conflicts before. It seems that he is overestimating this rookie. After all, he is just a newcomer. Maybe he showed his passion just now. Does he really dare to fight under the gaze of the crowd?
