Chapter 5 Poetry and Wine Unparalleled

Mr. Pei knelt on the mat and looked at Miss Wang's clever smile. He was already crazy. Suddenly, he found that his saliva was flowing down and quickly wiped it with his sleeve.

Mrs. Chen and Huan Heng sat next to Mrs. Pei. After seeing Mrs. Pei's actions, Mrs. Chen looked very despised.

Mrs. Chen has been widowed for many years, and is a mid-mute, but she has a very charming charm. The most important thing is that she is naturally romantic, so how can she endure the loneliness of widowhood?

So this time, shortly after Huan Heng arrived in Huainan, Mrs. Chen hooked up with him, and these days it was even more tangled and wished she could wear a pair of pants together.

Mrs. Chen had some psychological problems. She always hoped that she was the focus of everyone's attention, so now I felt very upset when I saw Mr. Pei staring at Miss Wang.

Of course, Miss Wang is not called Miss Wang, her name is Wang Siyao.

Wang Siyao smiled very wisely, but this wisdom was mixed with a hint of haggardness that others could not see.

Although she is still at ease in dealing with many clan forces, she is a woman after all. She is a family, country and the world. When she thinks of this, she often feels a little helpless.

She knew why Huan Heng questioned Daoyuan in all kinds of ways.

Over the past few years, the gentry's family has been very powerful and is jealous of the royal family Sima family. In the Battle of Feishui, Xie Xuan was highly rewarded and was excluded. How could the gentry's wealthy families be ignorant? Now they have only barely maintained a balance of power, and disputes are about to break out.

Everyone knows that Buddhism has a huge influence. A monk has no less than tens of thousands of elite soldiers, not to mention the support of the entire Buddhist sect.

This is also the reason why the Wang family spared no expense to win over Daoyuan. Unfortunately, Daoyuan did not make a clear statement. This somewhat disappointed her.

However, Huan Heng didn't know the reason.

Huan Heng has always been studying at Huiyuan, Lushan, waiting to practice. In fact, this is just a means for the Huan family to establish a good relationship with Huiyuan. Huiyuan has not yet relied on Huan family, and one has increased and the other has decreased. Of course, Huan Heng knew how to make the reputation of Daoyuan brought by Miss Wang grow?

What's more, Huan Heng knew that Huiyuan and Daoyuan both followed Master Shi Daoan to study Buddhism. Even if Huiyuan saw Daoyuan, he would call him "Senior Brother".

However, Miss Wang did not take Huan Heng to heart. Huan Heng was just a talented person, and his broad mind was still a little worse, like a pool of clear water, which could be seen at a glance. If Huan Xuan was present today... Wang Siyao thought of that handsome and unparalleled handsome man again.

Perhaps, he is the only opponent of him.

Wang Siyao looked at Huan Heng first, then looked at Zhang Chi, and couldn't help but smile again. She must be the most interesting monk she had ever seen.

Zhang Chi first knelt on the table, but he was really not used to this position, so he changed to sitting cross-legged again after a while, but not long after, he couldn't stand it anymore.

He is used to sitting on a chair. Zhang Chi vowed that if he wants to invent and live a life in the future, he will definitely invent the chair first.

After drinking three glasses of wine, the wine was rising. Zhang Chi took advantage of his crazy attitude and simply spread his legs and sat on the mat. However, this posture was not as comfortable as sitting on a chair, and his butt would twist every once in a while.

"I've drunk now," Huan Heng narrowed his eyes and looked sinister. He looked at Zhang Chi as if he had hemorrhoids on his butt, and sneered: "I asked three questions just now, but I didn't answer them. Maybe you answer?"

Huan Heng didn't even ask Zhang Chi's name. Although he said he was asking for advice, his attitude was very arrogant.

"It doesn't matter if you can't answer it, it's important that people have self-knowledge."

Of course, Zhang Chi couldn't teach Huan Heng. He might not have read Buddhist scriptures yet. In fact, at this time, Dao Xuan was on the side, and he looked nervous about him.

Zhang Chi was secretly amused. At least he had known about things that had happened for thousands of years. If he could not fool an ancient man, then he would have traveled through time in vain.

He decided to make up some mysterious things and fool him.

"Mr. Huan is well-read, and he must know that there is a story in Zhuangzi - he knows that he is traveling north on Xuanshui and encounters Wuwei. He asks Wuwei what Tao is. Three questions, but Wuwei means no answer."

While Daoxuan was sweating for Zhang Chi, Zhang Chi spoke.

Huan Heng was a famous scholar in Jingzhou. Of course he had read Zhuangzi, so he knew that this story came from "Zhuangzi. Zhibeiyou". However, suddenly he saw a monk not talking about the Buddha and talked about Zhuangzi with him. Not only was he very strange in his heart: you are a monk, not a Taoist priest.

"It's not that he doesn't answer, but that he doesn't know how to answer. This is the truth that the wise man doesn't speak, and the whispers don't know." Zhang Chi said while drinking wine, shaking his head like a charlatan.

"The Tao can be told, it is very Tao. I can't even say it. Could it be that you are more powerful than me? Because of this, you asked Master Daoyuan three times, and Master Daoyuan three times but did not answer it."

A few words made Huan Heng speechless.

At that time, the first ancestor of Zen Buddhism, Bodhidharma, had not yet come to the east, and of course, there was no Zen thought that had been integrated with Taoist theories in later generations. Huan Heng wanted to argue, but he felt that it was impossible to refute it and could not be refuted.

Zhang Chi was secretly funny and decided to add some more information.

"You ask how empty the Dharma is, but why do you have to argue that you understand what Dharma is and what emptiness is? Before there are words in this world, the great way has already been run between heaven and earth, and the ultimate principles in the world do not exist in words. Dharma, law, law cannot be used; empty, emptiness is not empty."

After saying a word, everyone in the seat was shocked.

Zhang Chi felt that he must be shameless when he smiled now, and suddenly he felt that he actually had the potential to be a charlatan.

Seeing that Huan Heng was talking too much, Mrs. Chen said that she was Huan Heng's mistress and hurriedly said to Huan Heng: "Haha, she is really a clever monk. She has a great ability to make things difficult for her."

She didn't think what Zhang Chi just said was anything great. Of course, she couldn't feel the contemptuous gazes that everyone was cast. Instead, she felt that everyone was staring at her and quickly posed for a pose and leaned on the table in a coquettish manner.

Maybe she has been used to being despised.

In contrast, Mr. Pei is much smarter than him. He naturally couldn't understand what they said, and he was always eating happily on his own, but suddenly he felt that the needle was quiet and could only hear the sound of himself burying his head and grunting, and he felt something was wrong.

I looked up and looked around. When I saw everyone's eyes were surprised to open their mouths. I quickly spit out the food in my mouth, straightened up, and didn't have to close my mouth, but opened it even wider.

If anyone saw his expression at this time, he would definitely think that he was more surprised than anyone else.

"The law and law are not allowed; empty and empty are not empty." Daoyuan looked at Zhang Chi and pondered.

When Daoyuan first heard the mystery of Zen Buddhism, he really felt that he was listening to your words, which was better than reading the White Book Sutra. After a while, he pondered alone: "Take Dharma as the Dharma, but Dharma cannot be original; if emptiness becomes empty, it is not empty."

Zhang Chi couldn't stand being seen like this because he felt that his eyes would be so hot when he saw a woman taking off naked.

After a while, Daoyuan first took action, walked to Zhang Chi quietly, bowed deeply, and bowed to the end. He still used his style of cherishing words and said only four words: "Amitabha."

Except for Huan Heng, of course no one would suspect that Daoyuan was pretending to behave.

The Tao has been immersed in Buddhism for decades, and he has seen the smallest knowledge. After hearing Zhang Chi's words, he seems to have insights, but he seems to be clear but not bright. There is a feeling that if he is only separated by a piece of paper, he can suddenly realize the Tao.

So he followed, "I hope the donor will explain in detail."

Zhang Chi could explain in detail. After being stunned for a while, he didn't speak. Dao Yuan saw that Zhang Chi didn't speak, and couldn't help asking again: "Please give me advice. If you can attain enlightenment, the old monk will be grateful."

Zhang Chi knew that Daoyuan never spoke much, and generally he would never say the same sentence twice. Now he asked again and again, which shows how much impact the words just now had on him.

"The Buddha said, you can't say it, you will be wrong once you say it." Zhang Chi continued to say it very wisely.

"In the past, the Buddha was at the Lingshan Conference and showed his flowers to the public, but he didn't speak. Everyone didn't understand what it meant. Only Jia-Piao Tianwen--Daoyuan. Zhang Chi actually thought it was very funny in his heart.

Huan Heng was very angry. As the saying goes, the best way to be despised is not to despise him, but to ignore him. Now that Huan Heng saw him ask Zhang Chi, Zhang Chi seemed to ignore him and preach him directly. How could he not be angry? So he said without thinking, "Skillful words and sophistry!"

"So, I believe the young master must know what the Buddhist scriptures say, what is the four elements are empty?" Zhang Chi asked back.

"That's natural. I have studied Buddhism with Master Huiyuan for many years, but how can I not know? The four elements are empty, so naturally it means that everything is illusory. You don't know what emptiness is, and you don't know that emptiness returns to illusory, and you don't know that the four elements are empty, so how can you understand Buddhism? You dare to say that Buddhism does not stand in words."

But Zhang Chi just smiled and said two words lightly: "Fart."

Huan Heng is a famous scholar in Jingzhou. He has been famous for a long time. Now he is questioned by a young monk. He has been angry for a long time. Now he is being abused like this. He suddenly feels unbearable and slapped the table and shouted: "What did you say? Do you dare to say it again?"

Zhang Chi laughed loudly and pointed at Huan Heng and said, "Since the young master knows that the four elements are empty, why not let criticism be empty, let persistence be empty, let words be empty, and let the four elements be empty?"

These four sentences are like four hammers, one hammer is heavier. When the last sentence makes all four elements empty, Huan Heng's chest was already dull, and he almost spurted out a mouthful of blood.

Miss Wang really admires the little monk now, so she came over and personally gave Zhang Chi and said, "Master Gao Lun, you are so rude just now. You haven't asked for the mage's name yet. I don't know why Master Daoxuan calls the mage the donor?"

"My name is Zhang Chi," Zhang Chi said truthfully: "I am not a monk, but just a refugee from the north. When I meet Master Daoyuan on the road, I will follow the master to the south."

Mrs. Chen finally found another opportunity to sarcastically, and snorted coldly, "It turns out that it's just a commoner."

During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the concept of family rank was very strong, and the status was divided according to their origins. The gentry even sat in different seats from the common people. Therefore, when Mrs. Chen heard that Zhang Chi was a refugee from the north, she was very embarrassed. The famous scholars were also very eye-catching.

A typical dog's eyes look down on people, but a person's heart is slacking off.

Whether it was before and after the journey, what Zhang Chi valued the least was his status. At this time, he was drinking and was in a state of great enthusiasm. After hearing Mrs. Chen's words, he couldn't help laughing. So he took advantage of the power of drinking and got up and walked to the table. He held the wine in one hand and behind the other hand, and chanted slowly like Cao Zhi's seven steps into poetry:

"Don't you hear that there are orchids under the weeds, or a house with thatched trees, or a marquis and kings. What's the harm to me? What's the harm to me when I eat cold food and clothing? Others look at flowers, but they don't see me when I see them. Others work hard and never get into my foot. They will be content and never be humiliated forever. They will know that they will stop and never be ashamed forever. They will be happy without happiness, and they will be praised without praise. They will be speechless and never end."

"What a saying is so clear and the words are endless! Please drink this cup." Miss Wang couldn't help but admire Zhang Chi's improvisation poem. To be honest, Miss Wang is extremely smart and wise. So far, there are very few people who can really admire Miss Wang.

When everyone saw Miss Wang praise him, they raised their glasses and invited him. Zhang Chi came without hesitation. When the wine was dry, they drank more than a dozen cups in an instant. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the famous scholars were proud of drinking. However, Miss Wang had never seen such a drinker, and she admired her even more.

"Today's poetry and wine are indeed a rare event. Why not be worthy of orchestras, singing and dancing with clear songs and wonderful dances so that everyone can enjoy the fun?" said a man sitting there to Miss Wang.

Before traveling through time, Zhang Chi read a lot of books and especially loved traditional Chinese literature. At this time, Zhang Chi was already drunk and staggered in the banquet. Suddenly, he remembered that the world was in chaos during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, but the famous scholars only knew how to drink and be romantic, and they couldn't help feeling ashamed. So he staggered and said suddenly: "I have a song."

Everyone looked at Zhang Chi, but saw Zhang Chi with sad faces and chanting: "Eighteen beats, the song ended, and the sound was endless. I know that the silk and bamboo are subtle and the achievements of creation, and the sorrow and joy are all the same as the people's hearts. If there is any change, it will be smooth. Hu and Han are in different places, and the wind is different from the sky and the earth is separated from the west. My resentment is vast in the sky, and even the six-member relationship is wide, I will not accept it!"

This is Cai Wenji's "Eighteen Pears of Hu Zi" by the Han Dynasty. Of course, everyone has heard of it, but when it comes to Zhang Chi's mouth, it is full of passion and compassion for the world. The famous scholars of the Wei and Jin Dynasties all indulge in the mountains and rivers, and when did they make generous voices at the banquet? Even Mr. Pei, when he heard Zhang Chi's generous chanting, he suddenly felt like he was touched.

Before everyone could speak, Zhang Chi changed his sadness again. Suddenly, he laughed loudly and recited a famous poem for all time:

"Zhao Gu is a man with a Hu Tassel, Wu Gu is a snowy snow. The silver saddle shines on the white horse, and it is as cool as a meteor. Kill one person in ten steps, and he will not leave a thousand miles away. After the matter, he brushes his clothes and hides his name. He passes by Xinling and drinks, take off his sword and knees. He eats Zhu Hai, holds a cup to persuade Hou Ying. Three cups of wine, but the five mountains are light. After the eyes are blurred, the ears are hot, and the spirit is purple and colorful. He saves Zhao and swings the golden hammer, and Handan is shocked first. Two heroes in the thousand years are enlightened by Daliang City. Even if the dead chivalrous bones are fragrant, they are not ashamed of the heroes in the world. Who can write to you? The Taixuan Sutra of the White Head?"

All the famous scholars present were moved.
