393 You will never walk alone(2/2)

He sent Sienna directly to the hotel. Accompanied by Norman Gad, Yang Cheng headed straight to Anfield Stadium with the pickup of the club driver.

Liverpool is the same as most Premier League teams. The club's administrative offices are arranged at Anfield Stadium, while the athletic offices are arranged at Melwood training base, and the academy camp is the town of Kirkbee north of Liverpool.

But what Yang Cheng didn't expect was that the distance between Anfield Stadium and Goodson Park Stadium was so close, which was a bit unexpected. But from this point, combined with the historical origins of the two teams, it couldn't help but make people feel interesting, just like two shops playing against each other on the street.

Norman Gadd specifically asked the driver to take Yang Cheng around Anfield Road to the back. He specially asked Yang Cheng to pass through Paisley's gate and introduced him to Paisley's achievements in Liverpool.

The Paisley Gate was south of Anfield Stadium, and after a circle, they came to the northwest corner.

"This is Shankley's gate and the main gate of Anfield Stadium. Countless KOPs like to come here to tie a scarf whenever there is a New Year or holiday, or when there is something to do. Next to it is the Hillsburg Monument, with the names of 96 fans of the victims."

With Norman Gad's introduction, Yang Cheng noticed two of the most famous iconic areas of Anfield Stadium.

Shankley's gate is next to the east of the main gate of Anfield Stadium. There is a two-piece iron gate, which is closed all year round, black, with some gold paint, and the slogan "You will never walk alone".

On the east side of Shankley Gate, next to the Hillsburg Monument, and under the monument are many bouquets.

"Almost every day, countless fans come here and silently put bouquets, because we have never forgotten them. Even though more than ten years have passed, all the KOPs still feel that they have never left with us!" Norman Gard said emotionally.

After hearing this, Yang Cheng felt a little moved.

The Heisel Massacre and the Hillsborough Massacre can be said to be two major disasters that Liverpool encountered in the 1980s. It completely pulled Liverpool from the European overlord and directly led to Ferguson and his Manchester United.

I still remember that Ferguson once had a famous saying, "My greatest achievement in my life is to kick Liverpool off the throne of the fuck!" This sentence made him completely a hero in the minds of Manchester United fans.

But from the perspective of Liverpool fans, this is also an extremely sad sentence. They are eager to take revenge and return this sentence to Ferguson and his Manchester United, but they cannot do it.

Since the establishment of the Premier League, their only and greatest pride is that their hero Kenny Dalglish led Blackburn in the 94/95 season, defeated Manchester United and won the Premier League championship.

But does this have anything to do with Liverpool?

The only relationship is that their head coach is Kenny Dalglish, but more people think that Blackburn's success back then and the club's large investment was a big factor, and Kenny Dalglish's coaching and position at Newcastle seemed to prove this speculation from the outside world.

But no matter what, this should be the sweetest memory of Liverpool fans in the Premier League.

After entering Anfield Stadium, stopping the car, Norman Gad took Yang Cheng straight to the office.

But before entering the office passage of the stadium, Yang Cheng couldn't help but stop, turn around, look at the Shankley Gate and the Hillsburg Monument in the distance, and look at the Paisley Gate, which was blocked by the stadium, and sighed in his heart.

This is the first time he has developed a sympathetic recognition for Liverpool, for the spirit of this club, for their fans.

At least he feels that if football is fair, then all the disasters Liverpool has suffered over the years will be enough to exchange them for a Premier League championship.
