Chapter 51 The Dharma is to lead people to be kind

Regardless of the warning from Tang Sanzang's eyes, the monkey who was well-behaved again.

Elder Jinchi's heart was rolling violently at this moment.

The treasure given by Guanyin Master?

True or fake?

How is it possible? How could Guanyin Master really pay attention to a mortal and give him a treasure himself?

Fake, it must be fake news. No one understands Guanyin Master better than me!

I have been worshipping the "Guanyin Zen Temple" for more than 260 years since I was a child. I am serving Guanyin Master on a daily basis. How could there be any monk who understand Guanyin Master better than me?

Fake must be fake. I cannot believe the words of a mere mountain monkey!

But this treasure robe...is not fake...

Recalling the colorful treasure light that filled the hall with a few breaths just now, Elder Jinchi's unscrupulous heart began to beat violently.

Such treasures are to be lived by wise men, and are worn by me day and night to serve the Guanyin Master, so that the incense of Guanyin Master will continue to flourish!

As soon as he thought of this, Elder Jinchi's expression changed and he returned to his old and steadfast state again, saying apologetically.

"Jinchi's eyes were dizzy just now, but he didn't know that the Holy Monk was here and he was guilty. Please do not mind the Holy Monk Sanzang."

"No, no, no..."

However, Tang Sanzang guessed Elder Jinchi's plan, and immediately did not give Elder Jinchi a chance to open his mouth and said modestly. "It's my monk who bothered the temple. It's too late today. I'll say goodbye for the time being and come again to bother me again."

"Huh?" Elder Jin Chi was shocked, stunned for a moment, and asked urgently. "Is the Holy Monk Sanzang leaving?"

Tang Sanzang folded his hands together and nodded, "That's the most powerful disciple. I am afraid that it will disturb you. It's really inconvenient to stay here for a long time. Please forgive me."

If Elder Jinchi didn't care about Tang Sanzang's stay or not, but now Elder Jinchi is caring about the secret robes, how could he bear to let Tang Sanzang leave?

Immediately, Elder Jinchi almost tried to persuade Tang Sanzang to stay.

"Why is the holy monk in Sanzang so anxious? I want to discuss Buddhism and debate Zen with the holy monk all night tonight."

"If it's too late today, there are also good wing rooms in the Zen temple to settle down. The Holy Monks of the Three Gangshu might as well rest for one night and set off again tomorrow morning."

"The Sanzang Holy Monk is unknown. Not only are there ferocious beasts in the wilderness ridge, but more importantly, it is said that there are many monsters entrenched not far away. Walking at night is particularly dangerous..."

Elder Jinchi's tone was full of worry, as if he was afraid that Tang Sanzang would be in danger.

"This matter will not be bothered by the host of Jinchi. My disciple is still a little capable. But I don't want those creatures to lose their lives in vain. I hope those beasts and monsters will not miss themselves."

After saying this, Tang Sanzang, who secretly understood the threat in Elder Jinchi's words, did not say much. After proclaiming the Buddha's name, he left with the monkey and the white dragon horse, regardless of the retention of the monks such as Jinchi.

After leaving Guanyin Zen Temple, the monkey asked in confusion. "Master, that Guanyin Zen Temple is indeed a good place to stay just now, why leave?"

"It's not because you are a monkey, otherwise you will be staying in the Guanyin Zen Temple." The roads near the Guanyin Zen Temple were quite flat, so Tang Sanzang did not get on his horse, and continued walking westwards, and taught the truth.

“Why?”

"You must know that wealth is not revealed. Elder Jinchi is a vain and greedy person. If you deliberately reveal the treasures such as Jinlan cassock, wouldn't it cause trouble for yourself?"

"Hey..." the monkey said disdainfully. "Why should you worry about this? I think those ordinary people can't hurt your master. Besides, I, Lao Sun, if they really have any evil thoughts, don't blame me, Lao Sun for being ruthless."

"Oh..." Tang Sanzang suddenly stopped, turned around, reached out to stroke the monkey's head, and a hint of doting and kindness appeared on his face.

"Wukong, your idea is wrong. Whether it is human, ghost, god, or Buddha, they all have seven emotions and six desires, and greed is one of them."

"Although those monks who are confused about profit and desire to make mistakes, even if they die, they will be blamed and cannot blame others, this does not mean that this deliberate arousal of greed is correct..."

Speaking of this, Tang Sanzang stared at the monkey and said softly. "It is important to know that desire... is the most untestable. It is the greed of seducing others. This practice is no different from the devil."

"Buddhism should guide people to be good, and it is not so intentionally tempting others' desires and causing them to fall."

While saying these words, Tang Sanzang also gently knocked on the monkey's head five times before turning around and heading west again.

The monkey... vaguely understood something...

Five hundred years ago, was my old grandson tempted?

Just as the monkey was in deep thought, Tang Sanzang's voice once again faintly entered the monkey's ears.

"Wukong, why are you still standing there? If it's too late today, why don't you help me find a suitable place to sleep in the open?"

"Yes, Master!"

...

On the other side, in Guanyin Zen Temple, the figure who was watching Tang Sanzang disappear from afar, Elder Jinchi winked at his confidants like frost and returned to the wing room.

“Wow…”

After his confidant, Monk Guangzhi, closed the door, Elder Jinchi immediately burst into tears.

"Sad... Sad..."

"A treasure like the brocade robe fell into the hands of a wandering monk who was helpless and helpless, wasting his natural resources, and wasting his natural resources..."

"I was 270 years old this year and was about to be in ancient times, but I saw such a heartbreaking thing. If this robes were worn on me, it would definitely make countless foolish people feel at ease towards Buddha. The incense in Guanyin Temple is more than three points..."

Seeing Elder Jinchi's attitude, Monk Guangzhi, one of his confidants, naturally understood that Elder Jinchi wanted to ask them to come up with an idea so that they could take the robes of the strange treasure of Jin's treasure, and also took the initiative to speak out because of his identity as the host of the Zen Temple.

Immediately, Monk Guangzhi's eyes turned and said, "Supervising, this matter is easy. When I lead dozens of monks, take guns and knives, catch up with Tang Sanzang, instead of explaining the truth and explaining the Dharma, I think he would agree happily when he thinks of the incense of Guanyin Master."
