Chapter 242: In the face of the holy monk
From beginning to end, Manjushri Bodhisattva never thought that the king of the Wuji Kingdom would be attracted by the attention of other powerful people, or even stand on the platform.
Just an ordinary king, but with great disasters covering up the cause and effect, Manjushri Bodhisattva had no fear in the past that it would cause uncontrollable turmoil.
However, I never expected that a person like "unsatisfied" would appear!
Seeing the distance getting closer and closer, Manjushri Bodhisattva had no way to escape...
At the beginning, Manjushri Bodhisattva just thought that his body was damaged and it was not a big deal.
However, when trying to break free from Zhu Bajie, Manjushri Bodhisattva realized something was wrong.
In the end, the position I was hit by was struggling with my golden body, and my magic power was leaked out. Even the remaining magic power was difficult to drive and use as usual.
And can you stop your mind from being able to calm down by simply relying on magic weapons?
The moment this thought emerged, he had a combat power that was hard to settle, and even Manjushri Bodhisattva himself did not believe it.
"I didn't expect that this great disaster in the west would be the first to respond to the disaster..."
Just as Manjushri Bodhisattva was completely disappointed, there were waves of Sanskrit sounds on the side.
"When Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva practiced the deep Prajna Paramita, he saw that the five aggregates were empty and he could overcome all sufferings..."
But with this Sanskrit sound, a ray of light scattered across the earth, covering the uneasy mind.
The movements that were difficult to calm down were slowed down!
Zhu Bajie and Manjushri Bodhisattva were overjoyed. When they turned around, they saw that Tang Sanzang was standing not far away, his eyes were slightly closed, and his mouth was chanting the scripture with lotus flowers blooming, and countless divine light shining out.
This infinite divine light is extremely similar to the light that covers itself with the body that is hard to calm, but it seems to have a restraining effect on the body that is hard to calm.
"All things are truly rebellious. It turns out that the person who is unable to subdue the disaster is defeated by the person who is the holy monk of the Tripitaka!" Manjushri Bodhisattva was immersed in the joy of the rest of his life after his death, and could not stop guessing.
When Zhu Bajie saw that Tang Sanzang had such magical powers, he was immediately very happy. He instantly abandoned the stupid idea of sacrificing his life for justice, ran towards Tang Sanzang happily, shouting.
"Master, if you have this ability, why not use it earlier? It will scare the old pig to death."
Tang Sanzang shook his head slightly, stopped to recite the Buddhist scriptures, and replied gently. "What is this skill? I just want to recite the scriptures for this donor, hoping to influence him and make him turn back. I didn't expect that the donor seemed to have really felt compassion."
"Well? Holy monk, can reciting Buddhist scriptures have a detrimental effect on the difficulty of mind?" Manjushri asked in disbelief.
"Amitabha, I think it is the most true and goodness contained in the Buddhist scriptures, which has had an impact on the host's resentment that cannot be relieved, right?" Tang Sanzang's eyes bent slightly and he smiled.
"But Holy Monk, you are just reciting the Buddhist scriptures, what is the infinite white light?" Manjushri asked in confusion.
"White light? What white light? Venerable Manjushri should not joke. Besides sunlight, what infinite white light is there?" Tang Sanzang frowned slightly and said in confusion.
"You can't see the holy monk..."
Speaking of this, Manjushri Bodhisattva suddenly understood.
Yes, it is normal that the body of the Sanzang Holy Monk is not visible to the mortal body. Perhaps even he himself doesn’t know that when he recites the scriptures, his body will be accompanied by infinite white light shining everywhere.
As Tang Sanzang stopped reciting scriptures, in the eyes of Manjushri Bodhisattva, the white light emitted from Tang Sanzang slowly converged.
The movement seemed much slower and the mind was uneasy. It almost returned to normal at the same time. It stood still from afar, and seemed to be afraid of the Holy Monk of the Three Gangsvara.
"I thought you were just a handsome monk, but I didn't expect you to have such supernatural powers. Who are you? I'll call you." The always cold and calm voice even Manjushri Bodhisattva heard that it contained some fear.
"I am a monk from the Eastern Tang Dynasty and went to the West to worship Buddha and seek sutras. He has met the donor." Tang Sanzang put his palms together, his face showed compassion, and said in a warm voice.
"Tang Sanzang?!" Yi Nanping seemed to be chewing on this familiar name, and then spoke.
"I have also heard that you are a great monk and a member of my human race. Why is it that you are so aiding the evil and trashing our lives and saving this Manjushri Bodhisattva who is harming the country of Wuji?"
Tang Sanzang was silent for a moment, and then said, "Amitabha Buddha, cause and effect, and freedom in the heavenly way. Venerable Manjushri may have faults, but the donor should not handle it without authorization. Otherwise, what is the difference between what the donor and Venerable Manjushri do?"
"difference?"
He took a step forward, and his invisible momentum suppressed all directions, and said, "I just need to follow my own wishes, that's enough. Even if there is a mistake, according to the holy monk, there will be a cause and effect. I will just take it with all my strength, but there is no need for the holy monk to worry too much. Please let the enlightenment."
Faced with the uneasy urgency, even Manjushri Bodhisattva couldn't help but feel a little scared. As a mortal, Tang Sanzang's tone was still as calm as usual, and he replied without any hesitation.
"Amitabha, monks are compassionate, so please forgive me. I cannot give in to this."
Such firm will, such belief that puts life and death aside, and such compassion and mercy, Manjushri Bodhisattva couldn't help but look at it, and he admired and admired the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi.
It is precisely because of being in Lingshan Mountain in the West that Manjushri Bodhisattva understands more clearly that such compassion is rare in the world.
Faced with Tang Sanzang's rejection, he felt as if his patience was exhausted. The white light shrouded on him suddenly rose, and his body also approached Tang Sanzang and his party again.
Seeing this, Tang Sanzang began to recite the Buddhist scriptures again...
"When Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva practiced the deep Prajna Paramita, he saw that the five aggregates were empty and he could overcome all sufferings..."
Also in the eyes of Manjushri Bodhisattva, there was an almost similar white light on Tang Sanzang, which sprinkled across the earth, pouring towards the slightest mind.
For a moment, the light shone everywhere, and everyone's vision was blinded, and they could not see everything in front of them at all.
The only thing that accompanied Manjushri Bodhisattva and others was the only time after time of chanting compassion that made people feel at ease.
After a long time...
The continuous white light slowly disappeared, and Tang Sanzang was still as old as before, wearing a spotless white monk robe, showing compassion, and his palms were folded together, but his face showed obvious fatigue, as if he had consumed a lot of energy.
But that person was unable to calm down, and his body had already fled far away, leaving a single lingering sound echoing here.
"Manjushri, today I will save your life in front of the holy monk. If you dare to insult our human race in the future, even if you break through Lingshan, you will definitely take your life..."
