One hundred and eight, the end of Buddhism (2)
.On the surface, since the "Xiri Sutra" had a glorious record of causing the thief God Mask to be crazy more than 600 years ago, it seems natural to be able to use it to severely damage Buddha Shakyamuni and put him in a long sleep.
But the problem is that the leader of Guangyan Sect, a Buddhist traitor, is very clear that there is no minimum comparability between the two.
Maxke is known as the master of the thieves (masterofa11thieves), but is just a god of thieves with weak divine power. He is in a middle and low position in Feiron's pan-human divine system. Because his clergy is limited to protecting thieves, beggars, and assassins, his number of believers is naturally very limited, especially when he encountered the plot of the "Cirice" in the "Sire Sect", that is, six hundred years before the population of the Feren continent was still sparse, there would definitely be no more than 500,000 mortals who believed in Meiske. As for the clergy of the Meske Church at that time, they might not even be able to make up 10,000.
His Majesty Sakyamuni, the Buddha, is the supreme power among the gods of the Eastern Karatu Continent. Although he does not have the name of the king of the gods, he has a vast power that can conquer the gods with the loose missionary strategy of "without being and without being different"! His influence ranges from islands to deserts, from cities to rural areas, from mountains to swamps, from snow fields to jungles, almost every market has Buddhist temples, every street has monks, and most families worship the Buddha's shrines. His power has long crossed the boundaries of any country and completely covered the entire Karatu Continent!
The Buddha Shakyamuni not only commanded hundreds of millions of believers from other countries, but also hundreds of followers (bodhisattvas, arhats, and venerables). As for the clergy who converted to Buddhism, it was also rampant. There were more than three million monks, nuns and lay people in this Japanese island country alone!
Therefore, both of them are nominally supreme and noble gods, but they are actually not on the same order of magnitude at all. If Mask's power is compared to a narrow and remote small city-state, then His Majesty Sakyamuni will have a vast empire!
Since the strength of the two opponents is vastly different, the criteria for measuring the lethality of the "Ciri Sutra" to both should naturally not be equal. If the authentic "Ciri Sutra" can successfully defeat the thief God Mesk and expose a priesthood, it is as normal as stabbing a wild dog to death with an ordinary short dagger, then using the imitation of the "Ciri Sutra" to knock down His Majesty Buddha Shakyamuni and fall into a long sleep, it is as incredible as stabbing a giant dragon to death with this short dagger!
At least, the head of the Guangyan Sect who actually performed this mission felt completely incomprehensible in his mind. Originally, for the sake of the continuation and development of the sect, he regarded himself as a meat-bombing warrior in the suicide squad. From the beginning, he bid farewell to his family and friends and made up his mind to die... But he never thought that His Majesty Buddha was so incompetent, and he won so easily in the end!
This extremely strong contrast and contrast made the mind of the leader of Guangyan Sect a little confused for a moment.
So, while waiting for the arrival of the Tukan cavalry, he couldn't help but tell all the doubts in his heart to the seemingly omnipotent Mr. Samust, hoping to get a logical answer.
Samust blinked strangely, and asked with a slight cough.
"...Ahem, you're thinking right, little guy. If it were His Majesty of Buddha in his heyday, the harm of a mere book of the "Siri Sutra" would be nothing. But... As far as I know, hasn't the Buddhists in this country been talking to the world in recent years, saying that it's the declining end of Buddhism now? Could it be that you don't know the true meaning of this sentence?!"
What exactly does the end of the world of Buddhism mean?
Although monks from all over Japan often use this terrible rhetoric to intimidate the world and deceive more offerings and donations, they basically do not believe in the authenticity of its content.
According to the scriptures, the so-called Buddhist Dharma in the last days refers to the decadent Buddha system, the precepts are abandoned, and many sinful people who have not been enlightened or realized the Dharma are falsely called monks. Each claiming to be true Buddha inheritance is actually the place where evil demons and heretics practice, they are just receiving the blessings and rewards of Buddhas, and they are actually protected by evil demons, so that they can destroy the Buddhist reputation and eliminate the fate of Buddha seeds. In the name of worshiping Buddha, they do things that destroy Buddha.
Simply put, Buddhism is filled with all kinds of evildoers, which leads to the complete destruction of Buddhism's reputation, being despised by the world, and eventually falling into decline and disintegration.
The problem is that this Buddhist temple in the Japanese island country seems to have never been purified from the beginning - the monks and nuns here never abide by the precepts, and have always been "wine and meat through the intestines, and the Buddha is in the heart", and they are like ordinary people who marry and give birth, passing on the temple as family property from generation to generation.
What's more serious is that many temples in this place are the most important bases in society, such as **, fraud, drug trafficking and pyramid schemes, gathering countless vicious criminals. Their bold and disgraceful atmosphere is really unimaginable to Buddhists in other countries.
According to the scriptures, in the case of Buddhism being so degenerate and corrupt, the end of Buddhism should have come long ago.
But the fact is the opposite - even though the style is so corrupt, the power of Buddhism has never really declined in this country by taking advantage of the hegemony of the world's funerals. The princes and princes must send their youngest son to become monks, and the emperor and the ministers must go to the Buddhist temple to convert when they are old. The people in the market must always worship monks on weekdays, and after their death, they must spend all their savings in the Buddhist temple to seek peace and ascension to heaven...
——No matter how bad a monopoly enterprise is, it will never collapse until it loses its monopoly privilege.
Therefore, while the Japanese monks were at ease, they put all the precepts under their feet, either indulging in the voice, sex, dogs, horses, wine, and bent on fighting for power and profit, and cheating the world and stealing fame. At the same time, they believed that the prosperity of Buddhism would last forever and never worry about future events.
The Guangyan Sect Master originally thought so, but Samust told him that the truth was not the case at all!
"...Ahem, in the past thousands of years, as far as the entire Eastern Karatu continent is concerned, His Majesty Buddha was indeed the most powerful and prosperous god. From the arc islands at the easternmost end to the endless wilderness at the westernmost end, from the spice islands at the southernmost end to the northernmost Thukan grasslands, there are Buddhist temples dedicated to him, and the monks serving him are active... But that is already yesterday's yellow flowers...Ahem, do you think, in today's world, how many countries still believe in His Majesty the 'omniscient and omnipotent' Buddha?"
While unable to stop coughing slightly, Samast said to the Lord of Guangyan in front of him.
Although he had many compliments and praises to His Majesty Buddha in the previous narrative, his tone was filled with ridicule.
The real highlight of Sammast's explanation is focused on the next sentence:
