Section 14 Visitors
For me, the battle in the Iron Claw Mountains is simply the best place to combine theory and practice. The things recorded in Thomas's military books and diary finally have many opportunities for me to actually apply. This is thanks to the custom of Green Skin, because in a Green Skin tribe, all members have to obey the boss unconditionally. With this, I have a perfect practical opportunity, from basic training, organizing troops, assigning small leaders, manufacturing war machinery, and to the in-fighting command, everything has the opportunity to practice.
I could feel that I was getting closer and closer to Thomas, his way of thinking, and his vision. But to be honest, I was not sure that these things would be useful to my future, because I could not always pretend to be green. In fact, if it weren't for my ultimate goal, I wouldn't have continued to stay with these evil, cruel and filthy creatures. My morality is completely different from that of Green Skin. Just playing a green Skin boss makes me feel disgusted from time to time.
Carrie told me that I shouldn't have such thoughts, because in the eyes of humans, I am also evil and cruel. This answer left me speechless.
Thomas once said that I would definitely face many wars, and probably wouldn't have expected that I would command a Greenskin army. But no matter what, through repeated practice, I have understood a lot of things. And I have also had the opportunity to practice my command skills again and again. Or, I can summarize my mistakes again and again. Since I started this plan, I have been on the verge of victory and loss several times. More than once, I almost sent myself to hell.
Although Greenskin is a natural warrior, their discipline is relatively poor. I used many methods and in the end I could only slightly improve this situation. But for the time being, I did not deliberately improve the combat power of the Greenskin clan or improve their living habits. As long as it is convenient for me to command, it is enough. Thomas once said that training is not to make soldiers omnipotent, but to make them good at it. Reasonable use of the strengths of soldiers is the general's job.
The current situation is very clear. It is completely impossible to annex a tribe like some time ago. Although Greenskin's idea is simple, it is absolutely impossible to say that it is stupid. Many Greenskin's bosses' tactics are simple, simple, but flawless. They are even incredibly experienced in choosing the timing. Several times I was caught off guard by the enemy's counterattack. If it weren't for the lucky favor and the reserve team, I wouldn't know what would happen. But in this regard, I would rather think that this was their instinctive choice. As Thomas said in his diary, sometimes, instinctive choices are far better than rational thinking.
What I have to do now is to slowly fight those small-scale battles, accumulate small victories, and earn fame. According to Grab, Green Skin is eager to fight. If a boss keeps winning, the subordinates who come to join will be in a constant stream. I have already experienced this during this period.
For me, the road to combat is still long. Today I gained an advantage against Wendini for the first time, and in three hours, I hit it twice. Carrie told me that the combat power of this simula was made based on my memory, and Wendini was actually more powerful than I thought. But I was still quite happy.
——Ashu Rufate
"Boss!" A goblin ran to the blood flag boss at a fast speed. "There are a bunch of guys who want to see you."
The Blood Flag Boss was sitting on his stone throne, as if thinking about something, and he didn't care much about the goblin who was responsible for passing the message. However, the big orcs next to the Blood Flag Boss walked up and surrounded the unlucky goblin. The fierce expression on their faces made the goblin tremble.
"Who did you see him at any time?" An orc grabbed the unlucky messenger and was considering how to deal with him. However, this crisis scene made the goblin scream quickly.
"Boss...is a group of black orcs...a group of big black orcs want to see you!"
The shout immediately attracted the attention of the Blood Flag Boss.
"Black Orc?" He repeated the word once.
"Yes, boss, he is a boy with a pair of big fangs!" The goblin was put on the ground and quickly reported to the boss.
A short while later, a team of strange green skins walked into the base of the Blood Flag Tribe. This place was the old nest of the Teeth Tribe for a while, but that was already a thing of the past. Since the Teeth Boss and all the Teeth Bosses who fought stubbornly (and a giant) fed Shiguge, this place immediately became the general base of the Blood Flag Tribe.
Over the past period of time, scattered green skins have been constantly coming to join the Blood Flag boss. However, this team of unfamiliar green skins have attracted great attention because the color of these green skins is very different from that of ordinary green skins. Their skin is a darker dark green, and they are generally taller than ordinary orcs.
This is a group of black orcs.
Although the black orcs are slightly different from ordinary green skins in appearance, their real differences are reflected in customs. Unlike ordinary green skins, which are like a mob, and may have internal strife at any time, the black orcs are green skins that truly know what discipline and unity are. They will quarrel, but they are fists rather than weapons to resolve disputes. Everyone agrees that they are a branch of Green skins, a branch that has no idea why it has mutated. Fortunately, this mutation did not occur to other green skins.
Under the leadership of the goblin, the group of black orcs walked straight to the front of the Blood Flag Boss until a small leader blocked their way.
The leading black orc—just one glance, he could see that he was a leader—suddenly collided with the little leader. The two green-skinned bodies touched each other, and then the little leader was knocked backwards and fell firmly on a stone. The black orcs laughed.
The little leader got up and took out his axe in anger. But the next moment, the black orc leader pulled out his giant axe, which was more than five times larger than the little leader's weapon. Although the little leader glared at him, he did not dare to take action.
"What's this?" The Blood Flag boss asked Grab beside him. He saw the whole scene just now, but he didn't understand what the group of black orcs wanted to do for a while. If they wanted to come and defect, it would seem stupid because it might anger the boss. If they were here to fight, the Blood Flag boys gathered around were several times more than the Black orcs. And as long as the Blood Flag boss roared, the gap in number would be enlarged and magnified.
"Boss, it seems that he wants to challenge you." Grab looked nervously at what was happening not far away, and explained to the boss softly.
"What rice? Challenge?"
Grab explained that the Blood Flag Boss began to understand what this means. In the Green Skin tribe, the strongest one is the boss, and the boss must be the strongest one. Therefore, as long as a kid successfully challenges the boss, he will naturally become the new boss (of course, if he loses, he has to feed Shiguge). Usually, the green skin that challenges the boss needs to be big enough, strong enough, and there are enough younger brothers, and it is best to choose a suitable opportunity (such as the boss who just suffered a defeat or something) to challenge. However, theoretically speaking (or the default rules of Green Skin), as long as the green skin comes to the boss to raise a challenge, the boss should face the challenge, even if it is the outsider (the collective concept of Green Skin is weak anyway). If an outsider can defeat the boss, he can still replace the boss and become the new boss.
Originally, the bosses like the boss of Blood Flag who have a strong combat power and have won consecutive victories, their little leaders would not have such stupid thoughts for a while. Because they understand how powerful their boss is, they will win battles with them, and they will definitely die without a complete corpse when they fight against them. If one day the boss of Blood Flag loses one after another, they will not choose to challenge the boss, but will lead their subordinates to secretly leave this boss who can no longer win.
However, these foreign black orcs have never seen how powerful the Blood Flag boss is.
Just as he spoke, the leader of the black orc had already dealt with the little leader and forced the other party to retreat with his momentum. Now no one was blocking the way, the black orc came all the way to the throne of the boss of the Blood Flag, inserted his hands, and put on a clear and provocative posture.
"Boss..." Grab didn't finish his words
"Who are you? How dare you come to our place to play wild?" Another personal guard beside the boss of Blood Flag shouted.
"I am the boss of Tarus, I am the real boss." The black orc named Tarus faced proudly. "I am the boss, I am the strongest, all kids should listen to me!"
The boss of the Blood Flag jumped up from the throne and came to Tarus, standing face to face. The figures of the two orcs with very different skin colors were unexpectedly approaching, and their four eyes were on the same level. At this moment, they stared at each other and refused to give in.
The little leaders quietly retreated and stood at a safe distance. The other black orcs also made the same move. The nearby goblins also stopped and they clamored, and all their eyes looked at the two orc bosses in the field. Each green skin held his breath, waiting for this inevitable conflict.
There seemed to be an invisible electric current in the air jumping between the two sides. It was hard to tell who was the first to do it, but when all the boys came to their senses, the two orcs had each punched each other.
Because the distance was too close, neither orcs had any room to draw their weapons. So the battle became that both sides fought each other with fists at such a distance. The two orcs punched each other one by one, and dodged the opponent's slam. This battle lasted for a long time, and there was no winner until both sides began to stagger.
The audience around all forgot to cheer. The black orcs did not cheer for the leader, and the blood flag boys did not cheer for the boss. The victory and defeat seemed to be hovering above both sides, with no sign of certainty at all. From time to time, things like half a tooth or a few drops of blood splattered around.
The long battle finally came to an end. Tarus was hit by the Blood Flag Boss and fell to the ground. He struggled to get up and try to fight again, but the Blood Flag Boss knocked him to the ground again after several consecutive punches, and then stepped on Taruss' head.
"Who is the boss!" Boss of Blood Flag asked loudly.
"You are the boss!" Tarus lay on the ground and replied in a dejected voice. "We all listen to you."
"Very good." The boss of the Blood Flag let go, and Tarus had the strength to get up. The blood flag boys around him cheered that made the caves shake.
"Very good, Tarus, now starting, you are my pioneer officer!" The boss of the Blood Flag said with satisfaction.
