Chapter 14 Hobbies

Fourteen Hobbies

The thick wooden door was motionless. Although Xiangye seemed to hear the sound of moving in the room through the crack of the door and spoke in a very light voice, the door showed no sign of opening.

"Please save me..." Xiangye knocked on each door from house to house, but no door opened for her. When she walked past a window, she saw someone looking out from the window, but when she approached, the person quickly hid in a position outside the window that people could not see.

"Good sir, please help me..." Xiangye suddenly started to cry. In the quiet night, there was a certain wind flowing, an ominous and fierce wind. Even Xiangye could clearly feel the suffocating pressure.

In the darkness, something terrible seems to be coming.

"I'm just an ordinary person, and I'm alone..."

"Maybe, child." The voice of an elderly man was passing through the wall, and at least he finally replied. "I don't know why you were chased, but this is your business, not mine. And I don't know you."

"Oh, why is there only one person?" The breeze at night brought the sound from behind to Xiangye's ears. She turned around in a terrifying manner and saw a man wearing green leather armor standing in the middle of the street under the moonlight. The man was tall and thin, and his eyes were filled with an indescribable danger. The first intuition gave people a thin and thin knife that was ground to an extremely sharp edge.

"It's so troublesome... If I escape separately, I can only catch one. After all, I'm going to catch the living!" The man said to himself. He clearly didn't move, and he couldn't see any weapons except his leather armor, but just standing like this, he had already made Xiangye move because of fear.

"Kill the man, stay the woman... It seems like the content of the order is like this..."

The two sides confronted each other from afar. The man did not move, and Xiangye could not move due to fear and tension. When she finally regained her consciousness and realized that she had to find a way to escape, it was too late.

During the period when she was seized by fear, pursuers appeared on the left and right, and behind her was the closed wooden door. The only thing worthy of comfort was that none of these people did anything, just staring at her to prevent her from escaping.

Then she saw the last man appear. It was a medium-sized man in a white priest's robe, with four or five soldiers in armor. The man looked very young, and he was probably only in his twenties if he was just judging by his appearance, but when he approached, the others immediately lowered their heads in a humble manner.

"Why are there only one?" Carl looked around and asked.

"Sorry, Bishop Ni Xia, they separated. We only have time to find one." Someone answered.

Carl raised the crystal ball in his hand and stared at it for a short time. "He went west... and he got a horse from somewhere... a horse without a saddle, probably because he happened to meet a horse that had run away. What a good luck."

"Horse? That's not easy to chase..." said a man with a giant bow next to Carl. It was strange that although he was carrying a large bow, he did not carry a quiver, and the bow did not have a bowstring. "Biden Ni Xia, if you must catch him, it's better..."

"No need." Carl's eyes stopped on Baby Leaf, and his gaze reminded him of the evil eagle staring at the white dove. "Anyway, it's just some stupid little thieves. It would be too much of a big deal to fight for this. Perrin, I'll take this woman away, and leave the rest to you."

He made a gesture, and several guards stepped forward and grabbed the female thief in front of him. Unlike what he expected, the female thief seemed to have not received any training in combat. She just struggled a little and was immediately subdued.

This was even better, Carl gently twisted his fingers and thought.

Watching the Archbishop leave with the arrested female thief, Perrin sighed and turned to face his group of colleagues.

"What are we doing next?" someone asked. "Do you want to chase?"

No wonder he asked such a question. Although the summer night is slightly cooler than the day, it is still quite sultry. Chasing someone who escapes on horseback can be considered a chore. Besides, Carl has left, without Carl's guidance, it will be difficult to find the target if it becomes a costume or hides somewhere.

The most important thing is the attitude of the Archbishop, which clearly shows that this is just an insignificant matter, and even if the task is completed, there will be no reward.

Perrin thought for a while. "Rol," he said to the tall and thin man who was the first to catch up with Xiangye, "You guys go and chase after him. If you really can't catch up, it's nothing, anyway."

Roll jumped backward, which was a jumping ability that completely surpassed humans. He jumped lightly onto the roof of the bungalow and chased in the direction Carl had previously guided.

"Let's go back. If even Roll can't catch up, then we will go in vain if we go." Perrin said. He stroked the longbow on his back. When his hand touched the bow, the thin and invisible bow string flashed through a silver-white glow.

...

The Nightmare Horse stopped on a slope covered with weeds.

It should be safe to get here. Ashu Rufate wanted to climb off his mount, but found that he could not do such a trivial thing. His wound was no longer as painful and itch as before, and was replaced by an extremely weak feeling of powerlessness throughout his body. It was as if even the strength to move his little finger had disappeared. When the Nightmare Horse jumped directly from the city wall just now, the impact almost shattered him.

“To speed up your recovery and to ensure safety,” Carrie said in her mind. “I suggest you bury yourself in the soil.”

"I don't have the strength to dig a hole now," Ash Rufate replied. There are no tools to use.

"There is a very suitable cave in front of you." Carrie guided the Nightmare Horse to move forward slowly and all the way to the cave. This is the kind of cave formed by the excavation of mice or termites, which caused the surface to collapse. It is very common in the mountains. The cave is not big, but it is more than enough to bury it alone.

The Nightmare Horse gently flipped her body and "sinked" Ash Rufate into the cave with the gentle movements. Ash Rufate used her final power to seize the magic wind, causing a slight explosion at the entrance of the cave, allowing the collapsed soil to fill the cave.

Now, Ashu Rufate completely disappeared from the world. Even if someone passes here, at most he just thinks that this place is just a collapsed pit, and it is impossible to think that something is buried underground.

However, this move is redundant in a sense. Therefore, at dawn on this day, in the Grand Temple of Oren, the actual ruler of Oren, the Archbishop Carl, had already received news that his subordinates had lost.

"Well... can't you find the injured thief who escaped? Forget it, it doesn't matter..." Carl waved the report in his hand, and a ball of flame rose from the paper, instantly turning the paper into ashes. But the ball of flame did not hurt Carl's hand at all.

"Good, little girl." Carl turned his gaze to the girl in front of him. They were in a closed room at the moment, with Baby Leaf tied to a "Y"-shaped shelf, locked in steel shackles, and looking at the man in front of her with a terrified expression, she knew that this man would determine her fate. "Your accomplices have escaped."

Carl held his chin with his hands, and Ganye's expression and expression made him very satisfied. "Maybe you should tell me how many of you are, where are they?"

"I don't know anything, I just..." Xiangye swallowed the following half of the sentence. If they knew that she was a member of "Summer Night's Dream", then... the entire troupe would probably face great danger. She already knew the identity of this man.

"But, I'm not interested in these things. What are your gangs and accomplices to me? At most, they are just a group of thieves who are tricked by stupid rumors and try to come here to steal. I'm only interested in you!"

Carl's eyes revealed a naked greedy smile. His eyes were staring at the girl in front of him, looking at her beautiful face and slim body.

"Because I am tired of those women who come and go when they call them. Those women who are for power and desire, although they have to be as much as they want, cannot enjoy them. They do not have the pleasure of conquest that I hope... and few women can have such a good body."

The depths of greed in his eyes were a kind of bloodthirsty cruelty.

Xiangye spent a long time in the troupe, and had heard many rumors and contacted people from all sides. She realized that this man had an extraordinary desire to abuse in terms of both genders. Xiangye saw a bunch of things on the table in the distance, most of which she had never heard of, but she knew one thing-it was a ponytail whip.

Fear trembled in her heart like ice. But for some reason, Xiangye did not cry because of fear and weakness.

"Good look." Carl lifted her chin hard. "It seems that it's hard for you to conquer? No, you will surrender, fear and pain will make you do this. I will give you fear and pain, far beyond what you can bear. Until the last wisp of courage to resist is wiped out. You will let me play with it, and any commands I have to you will be an irreversible will..."

He paused and made a burst of laughter of unknown significance, but this laughter could make people chill.

"Usually, I should say that, right? But my aesthetics think that women laugh better than crying. I can force you to laugh, but the smile caused by forcedness is actually no different from crying. So," Carl walked back and picked up a small bottle from the table on one side. If you look closely, you will find that the bottle is integrated and has no mouth at all. The bottle is a transparent liquid. "To resolve this contradiction, I specially prepared this thing."

"This thing." Carl looked at the items in his hand carefully. The malice in his voice was about to condense into entities. "To me, it was just an aphrodisiac, with almost no side effects, let alone sequelae. But it is not that simple for ordinary humans...it will make you very sensitive and excited... until your brain is burned..."
