Later they found an amateur writer and changed the lyrics to what they sang later. The time was advanced to 1979. The more serious original lyrics actually used "You break free from the iron chains of poverty and whiteness and enter the spring that is still warm and cold" to describe the environment of socialism and reform and opening up. The words "iron chains" and "warm and cold" can easily cause ambiguity and lead to wrong associations, and change them to "You unfold a new picture of a century and bring out the spring that is colorful", and then the direction is correct, magnificent, and beautiful artistic conception.

Even after the second creation, the lyrics are perfect, the concept is clear, the lyrics are precise, and the magnificent are imposing, which gives new connotations, but after the two authors handed the song back to the chairman of the Youth Song Competition in Eastern Guangdong, it once again caused great controversy. Two completely different opinions appeared among the judges. Most judges believed that this was a song with political themes, singing reform and opening up, and being the leader of the country. It was written in popular sentences such as "drawing a circle" and "an old man". It was not serious enough and could not be selected. However, two other judges insisted that mass songs require this popular way of writing with a breath of life, and require fresh, appropriate and affectionate metaphor. This song describes the people's support for reform and opening up and their respect for the old leaders, and is the true voice of the people.

"Spring Story" once again stood at the fork in fate. The two judges' arguments once again made this masterpiece come out of the fate of being almost buried. Under their persistence and persuasion, the other judges also changed their views. Finally, the song dominated the "94 Youth Song Creation Competition" in eastern Guangdong and was awarded a gold medal and became famous in one fell swoop. "Spring Story" ushered in a new world with dark and bright flowers. Later, it entered CCTV, and was sung by a famous singer and made into MTV.

Now Chen Kangjie has written this song, but he has to make some subtle modifications to the lyrics and cannot follow the whole class, because the current history and the original logic have deviated a certain degree of difference.
