Chapter 818 The Third Mobile Fleet

In November of the 15th year of Gansheng, one month after serving on the Ningyu battleship, the Quyang, the second ship of the Ningyu-class battleship, officially joined the Navy's new aunt, and was incorporated into the First Battleship Fleet together with the Ningyu battleship.

The first battleship fleet was established when the Navy was fully reorganized after the Great Heng Empire and classified fleets according to the nature of combat. It was the first to have the Pingbo Iron Craft and the Endless Sea Iron Craft. Two unified battleships were subsequently added.

In the first ten years after the reunification of the Great Heng Empire, it has always been the main fleet of the Great Heng Empire's navy.

Subsequently, the Iron Armored Ship of the Endless Sea was retired and dismantled, and the Pingbo and two unified-class battleships were sold to the Kingdom of Orr. Therefore, the first battleship fleet successively added two Yonglin-class battleships, and the two Endless Sea-class battleships, which were still the main squadrons of the Great Heng Empire.

After the Jingzhou-class battleships were put into service, the main squadron of the Daheng Navy was organized into the third battleships and the fourth battleship fleet, which were under the jurisdiction of the Jingzhou-class battleships, the Gaoqing and the Jinghe.

As for the first battleship fleet, because its warships were too old, it gave up its position as the main squadron after serving on the Jingzhou-class battleship.

After all, the Yonglin-class, Endless Sea-class and its improved early low-freeboard turret battleships have low combat power, and they are even reluctant to perform second-line combat missions, and can only serve as escort, near-shore defense and other tasks.

However, with the official service of the Ningyu, the First Battleship Fleet returned to the position of the main squadron of the Daheng Navy.

Because the Ningyu battleship and its subsequent three sister ships, a total of four Ningyu-class battleships will be assigned to this squadron.

As for the two original Yonglin-class battleships and two Endless Sea-class battleships, they were low in combat power, too old, and the upgrade cost was high. Therefore, although these old battleships have only been in service for about ten years and their hulls are still useful, the navy still pulled them all out of the front line.

Even the name of the battleship was not left behind, but was changed to a shore defense ship, which was classified as an offshore combat ship, and was reorganized and included in the Third Fleet.

The Third Fleet, in the Da Heng Empire Navy, is actually a reserve training fleet. Except for a small number of newly built professional training ships, the rest are basically old ships. They come here to make use of their remaining energy, mainly used to train naval officers and soldiers. During the war, they will fight and help defend their own offshores.

However, the First Fleet is different from the Second Fleet. The First Fleet is stationed on the east coast and the Second Fleet is stationed on the west coast, which is an important foundation for the Great Heng Empire's coast.

Now, as Ningyu-class battleships have successively joined the first battleship fleet, the first battleship fleet after the unification of the Great Heng Empire has been reshaped and become the main fleet in the Navy of the Great Heng Empire.

Similarly, the Second Cruiser Fleet will also be incorporated into a flush-class battlecruiser next year, thus becoming the main squadron of the Great Heng Empire Navy in the future.

In addition to the above two squadrons, the Great Heng Empire Navy actually has other battleship fleets, cruiser fleets, destroyer fleets, and a large number.

There are six battleship fleets alone, eight cruiser fleets, and twelve destroyers formations have been successively organized.

The above-mentioned main fleets and other auxiliary warships belong to the First Fleet and the Second Fleet respectively.

However, the combat sequence of the Daheng Empire Navy is based on the above-mentioned organizational standards.

The three major naval fleets of the Great Heng Empire are all typical administrative agencies, which are only responsible for naval construction and daily training. During wartime or when large-scale exercises are held, warships are drawn from the above three major fleets to form a mobile fleet.

During the 12th year of Gan Sheng, a conflict broke out between the Great Heng Empire and the Gafia Empire. The Great Heng Empire officially formed the First Mobile Fleet. The First Mobile Fleet did not disband immediately after the war, but was retained and existed as a combat readiness force for a long time. At the same time, the Great Heng Empire Navy further improved the mechanism of the combat organization of the mobile fleet.

It is clear that the mobile fleet is a wartime organization, and during the war period, it governs different types of warships to form a huge combat power and is responsible for ocean-going combat in one direction.

In this year's Ken Oilfield incident, as soon as the incident happened, the Great Heng Empire sent the First Mobile Fleet to the south, and then formed the Second Mobile Fleet to reinforce the South.

By forming a large-scale mobile fleet, the Great Heng Empire Navy has also improved the structure within the mobile fleet.

At present, the mobile fleet of the Great Heng Empire is centered on battleships, supplemented by battlecruisers, armored cruisers or heavy cruisers. At the same time, light cruisers and destroyers are matched in a certain proportion, and finally a certain number of high-speed supply ships must be matched with.

Of course, on the secondary front, armored cruisers or heavy cruisers can also be used directly as core.

However, the final purpose is to form a fleet that is fully equipped with a fleet that can independently complete combat missions.

The pattern of the administrative fleet and combat fleet parallel to the Great Heng Empire is also relatively rare among the navies of various countries in Blue Star. The navy of the Kingdom of Kruel is much simpler. It does not involve such messy things, and is directly divided into five major fleets according to the different regions, including the local fleet, the western fleet, the southwest fleet, the southern fleet, and the eastern fleet. Each fleet is equipped with various types of ships and can independently be responsible for the maritime battles in the seas of its defense areas.

However, among their five fleets, the warships they belong to are often changed, not to mention fixed configurations, which is very similar to the mobile fleet model of the Daheng Empire Navy.

After receiving Ningyu-class battleships one after another, the First Battleship Fleet belongs to the First Fleet, but what they train on weekdays is the Third Mobile Fleet.

This third mobile fleet is also a brand new mobile fleet that the Great Heng Empire has just recently established.

This is to better improve and play the performance of a unified full-heavy artillery warship. After all, this is the first time that the Daheng Empire Navy has played this thing. If this kind of warship can exert its theoretical combat effectiveness, it still needs to be constantly explored and trained to eventually form actual combat effectiveness, otherwise it would be just an expensive toy.

In order to give full play to the value of unifying the full-heavy artillery warship, the Imperial Navy specially selected a lot of new talents from the entire army, and began to train and conduct simulation training several years ago. This time, the backbone officers and non-commissioned officers in the Third Mobile Fleet were this group of people.

According to the scheduled plan, the Third Mobile Fleet will be incorporated into the two main fleets of the First Battleship Fleet and the Third Cruiser Fleet, and will be equipped with four destroyers at the same time. The battleships in these four destroyers are also built after the twelve years of Gansheng and are the products of the fourth phase of the Navy Plan.

Even the supply ships are specially built and equipped with large fast supply ships used in new warships!

Once the entire third mobile fleet is formed, its combat power will be enough to sweep the endless sea!

It is enough to give the Great Heng Empire greater confidence to face any challenges!
