Chapter 30. Appease

There is still peace in the magic plain.

Mia has successfully taken Ms. Lydia Shelley as her tutor, following her to learn spells, and jointly study how spells can act directly on props without relying on mages.

This is actually not a brand new problem, and the inscribed technology of the magic circle has enabled armor and weapons to be successfully enchanted. If props require continuous magic power, then the "magic crystal" can also be achieved.

But the problem is that this technology is too immature and is limited to the inscribed array of equipment and has never been developed. What Mia Ah and Ms. Shelley want to do is to allow more places to use spells.

To solve this problem, innovation ability is important, but more importantly, it is to solve the problem of magic crystal conversion efficiency and how to be compatible with various items.

The magic crystals now supply magic power, which can only be used for large-scale equipment, such as the carriage engraved with magic circles when they were heading south and the crossbow on the city wall of the North Wind Tower. For these large props, as long as the magic crystals are blasted into the triggering formation, there is no need to worry about overflow.

But if it is to be applied to small props, which are thinner than magic crystal and smaller than magic crystal, then the existing technology will not be able to keep up.

In short, it is to expand in a refined direction.

The research and development of this type of project is destined to invest a lot of funds, and Cyril doesn't know how long Mia's financial resources can last. If he wants to develop in the military industry and build a large laboratory, even if Mia sells all other properties, he will probably consume it within a few years...

But by then, Cyril felt that he should have a profitable industry under his command - Amasil in the east is a fat treasure land. In the past, the La Rochelle people were hampered by the face of the elves, and were busy in other places, so they did not enter the forest development much, but Cyril would not show mercy.

And he has Crane in his hands - this iron cock from the future western mine. Although he is still a fool with a unicorn butt, when he puts excellent ore in front of him, he believes Crane will shine his own light.

The rest of the people, Miss Misha, could not leave the magic plain - for her, there was no more comfortable place than the forest in this magic plain. When Cyril came back on a horse, he could often see the elves sitting under the dense canopy and on the thick trunk.

Unfortunately, there is no clear spring in the forest or the moonlight falling on the clear spring.

Alina was very diligent. She seemed to have gone to the academy to buy basic swordsmanship books. She practiced swords in the yard for several hours every day, and after practicing, she went back to the house to spread it out.

She seemed to have an urgent desire to improve her strength. Cyril also considered letting Alina enter the academy for a while. Although Alina was small and not much taller than Caroline, she was at least sixteen years old, one year older than Cyril. She was a super-old freshman in the academy.

Although her foundation is poor, she has a lot of practical experience. As long as she only needs to inject her experience into the foundation, her strength will definitely improve rapidly.

But Alina refused Cyril without any hesitation, and then continued to rub her sore arms, practicing the chopping movements repeatedly.

In just a few days, Cyril had no intention of giving her any other tutoring. When he arrived in the east, he had the opportunity to teach her actual class.

As for Narora...

Cyril really couldn't think of how to communicate with this large and exquisite doll-like child. Narura herself doesn't like to speak actively - although she seems to be curious about external things, her ability to express is her weakness.

Fortunately, Caroline exists in the team, and children can always take them to play with them. At least, let Caroline lead some basic things, so it is better for him to try to communicate.

And the last one is Caroline...

Some things cannot be delayed and must be done in time, otherwise they are playing with other people's thoughts.

"Caroline!"

Cyril returned to the castle. He had taken a detour to the outer city and bought some snacks. When Caroline heard the sound, he poked his head out of the second floor, twitched his nose, and then jumped down like an agile rabbit, rushed to Cyril, and picked up the cloth bag in Cyril's hand.

"I smelled it, it was cheese grilled fish apple pie!" She quickly unpacked the packaging and poured the contents on the plate: a golden-colored apple pie with long silk on the cheese, which looked very appetizing - as long as you ignore the hideous and narrow fish head protruding from its edge, it must be a delicacy.

But just as Caroline picked up a piece of pie and was about to start, the little girl suddenly stopped moving, then raised her head, sucked her nose hard, and asked in a low voice:

"Cyril, did you find out what you ran out so early?"

"There is still no news from the Adventure Association, and the blacksmith shop is still the same." Cyrill said gently, and saw the girl in front of him lower her head, her beautiful cat-like eyes that could not hide her loss, and even put down the pie in her hand.

"But--" He then stretched the tone, but saw the little girl's head suddenly lifting up and staring at him firmly. He maintained a plain tone and continued, "Your Highness told me that the recruited blacksmiths had gone out to sea with the fleet and lived well, but they would not be able to come back in the short term."

"Short term? How long will it take for dad to come back!" Caroline's eyes lit up, and she said anxiously.

"It will take at least three to five years to go out to sea." Cyril touched his chin and looked like he was estimating carefully. "First of all, they have to sail far away, and then build camps in a new place, and then start working. The voyage takes too long and it is impossible to go back and forth, so it must be done at one time, and then the time to return is included. Well, it may take longer."

Caroline seemed to be in hesitation again. She reached out and poked the fish head on the apple pie, bit her lip, and after a while, she said, "Then... Dad doesn't know whether the home is gone?"

Cyril was slightly stunned.

He thought Caroline would think about whether her father would die in the sea, but he didn't expect that what she was worried about was this-

Is she worried about her father who is working hard in the distance?

He took a deep breath and said slowly as slowly as possible: "Then he must not know. The king can't contact them very much, so how could he tell him what's going on in the north?"

"In his heart, Caroline should still grow up well and healthy in the snow in the north?"

The little girl's face, worries and anxiety, disappeared.

A smile appeared on her face again, then she took a big bite of apple pie and chewed the fish inside to a crisp sound.

The corners of his mouth were covered with oil.
