Chapter 198 What a big rat

I hurriedly blocked my mother outside the door on the grounds that I had to get up early to go to work tomorrow.

Maybe my acting was natural and realistic, so my mother didn't doubt it, so she went to bed.

I was lying on the sofa and it still felt that it was not safe enough.

My mother gets up very early every day, and she can't rest as much as she wakes up. She will definitely clean the house inside and out before she can go home with confidence.

So if I am behind my mother from tomorrow, she will definitely find Aunt Mei, which would be awful.

Therefore, I set a very early alarm clock for my phone, hoping to wake up Aunt Mei before my mother woke up, and then let her leave without realizing it.

After setting the alarm clock, I fell asleep in a daze.

The next morning, the alarm clock woke me up on time, and I hurriedly turned off the alarm first, for fear of waking up my mother together.

Fortunately, my mother didn't wake up, so I tiptoed to the bedroom.

Aunt Mei is still sleeping soundly. After a night of rest, her face doesn't look so uncomfortable. In fact, she should have been able to sleep well until she wakes up naturally. Anyone who has drunk knows what it feels like to not wake up after being drunk.

But because of the hindrance of my mother, I had to bear the pain of giving up and waking her up.

I walked to the bed and gently pushed her, whispering to her, "Aunt Mei, Aunt Mei."

Aunt Mei was still in a dream and couldn't extricate herself. I cried for a long time before Aunt Mei opened her sleepy eyes in a daze.

She looked at it for a long time before she realized that I was standing in front of her. Her first reaction was that she had a look of joy in her eyes.

"You...why are you here?" Aunt Mei asked me ignorantly.

When she saw me, her subconscious surprise and joy made me stunned.

"I...I've been there all the time."

Aunt Mei looked puzzled, "It's been there all the time? Did you come to my apartment last night? Why didn't I know?"

Only then did I realize that she regarded this place as her apartment, so she was a little confused about my appearance.

It turns out that her wine has not yet woken up.

"Aunt Mei, you're wrong. This is my family." I whispered.

Aunt Mei was stunned and looked carefully before she realized it, but she was still surprised, "You sent me back last night?"

"No." I said, "You came here by yourself."

"Myself?"

"Yes, I knocked on the door in the middle of the night. I opened the door and found you lying on the ground, feeling drunk." I said, "I will carry you over."

"Then why did I... come here?" Aunt Mei was still confused.

"I want to ask you this," I said, "Did the person who drank with you sent you back?"

"No, I drank it alone yesterday, but I didn't know why I got drunk later. I can't remember what happened later..." Aunt Mei scratched her head and tried hard to recall what happened last night, but she didn't seem to remember anything.

"In other words, you are drunk yourself, and then you unconsciously come to me?" I asked.

Aunt Mei was stunned, and a look of embarrassment appeared on her face, and she said, "Oh, it's so embarrassing. Why do you see the embarrassment every time you get drunk?"

I laughed inwardly, "Fortunately, you are not like Mei Nan Chen, you will vomit all over the world after drinking some wine."

Aunt Mei suddenly seemed to remember something and said, "By the way! I seemed to have met a handsome man last night, why did he disappear later?"

The voice of this sentence was a little louder, probably because she was completely awake.

I quickly put my index finger beside my mouth and made a gesture to make her whisper.

Aunt Mei was stunned and asked, "Yating... lives here?"

"No." I said, "but another woman lived."

"Another woman?" Aunt Mei was even more surprised, "You..."

"Don't think too much, it's my mother." I said.

"Sister Liu is here?" Aunt Mei seemed a little nervous. They were old neighbors. It seemed that she was also a little afraid of my mother. "Why didn't you say it earlier last night? You said it earlier, I won't live with you."

I……

"That's what you said, it seems like you had the initiative last night." I said, "You don't even know how you came here, and you still realize who I am and who are you Sister Liu?"

"Then I slept with you last night?" Aunt Mei asked a little embarrassedly.

"No, I slept on the sofa." I said.

"Oh. That's good," Aunt Mei said, hurriedly getting out of bed and putting on her shoes, "No, I have to leave quickly. If Sister Liu or Lu Yating sees this, it will be troublesome..."

I didn't try to keep her, but helped her get her bag and walked out with her.

We were both careful, afraid of waking up my mother, but as soon as we came out of the bedroom, we saw my mother sitting on the sofa, staring at us expressionlessly, as if waiting for us to come out.

Aunt Mei and I couldn't help but be stunned and looked at each other.

My mother stared at me, "What a big rat, Qin Zheng?"

"Mom..." I smiled foolishly and was at a loss.

"You won't introduce it, who is this beauty?" said my mother.

She was so insincere and intentional. Even if she hadn't seen each other for ten years, Aunt Mei hadn't changed much, so how could she not come out?

Aunt Mei was a little panicked, but she tried her best to make herself look natural and smiled, "Sister Liu, it's me, I'm Xiaomei."

My mother's expression was exaggerated, "Oh, it's Xiaomei. This is a coincidence. She has been missing for more than ten years. I didn't expect to meet her in my son's bedroom today. It's such a coincidence."

"Mom, don't you be able to do this? Auntie Mei..."

"Shut up." My mother said seriously, "Your Aunt Mei and I have been missing for so many years. Talking about it, how can you talk? Xiaomei, you ran away with that man and left your mother alone. If you haven't come back for more than ten years, you must have made a fortune outside, right?"

My mother obviously was worried about Aunt Mei’s previous actions and held a grudge against her mother. But I think it was really not worth it, because Aunt Mei had reconciled with her mother, and as a neighbor, there was no need for my mother to say that.

Aunt Mei smiled awkwardly, "Sister Liu, you are joking. I didn't make any money. Yesterday I got drunk and came here in a daze. Maybe I was used to living here before,"

"This habit is not good," said my mother.

"Mom, you..."

"I'll say it again, shut up!"

Aunt Mei was even more embarrassed and said dryly, "Don't worry, Sister Liu, I won't know anymore."

My mother sighed and said, "Xiaomei, I don't comment on your past affairs. That's your own business. The reason why I'm angry is that I just feel sorry for your mother."

"I understand this." Aunt Mei said.

"I only have one request to stay away from my son in the future. Qin Zheng is now a person with a girlfriend. It's not good for you to be like this, and they're going to get married at the end of the year." My mother said.
