Chapter 49 The Master of Erma Mountain

As Zhao Xiaochuan wished, Uncle Guo sent the three of them to Zhaojiazhuang.

It was not until Captain Wu agreed to take in that they learned that Uncle Guo and Wu Fei were not from Baishishan.

This time, Uncle Guo did not rush to take Wu Fei and the others away, but stayed for one night. He and Captain Wu talked all night long. Although Wu Fei was not present, he could guess that the content of the conversation between the two must be related to the Japanese watchtowers and the blockade circle.

Dachun was as enthusiastic as ever. This enthusiasm was not just for the three of them. Zhao Xiaochuan, who surrendered, also felt it. They were originally worried that their former identity as a puppet army would make people look down on them, but soon they discovered that not only a few of the backbones of the Baishishan guerrillas had a broad mind, but every soldier below did not discriminate against them. The Baishishan guerrillas were like Baishishan, who accommodated them with their tolerance and breadth.

This time, the long-term training was terminated due to the watchtower incident and the sending Zhao Xiaochuan and others. On the way back to the mountain, Xiaotong was very excited and no longer the pain he was when he came. However, Xiaole seemed to have been avoiding Wu Fei. Later, Xiaotong secretly told him that he realized that Xiaole blamed himself because the watchtower shot in advance and almost missed Wu Fei's plan.

When he returned to Ermashan, Uncle Guo did not go back to the wooden house, but went to find the second leader Han Qi and the third leader, so naturally he still said that the Japanese blockade the circle.

Wu Fei did not realize what serious impact the Japanese move would have on Ermashan. His current mind was still on how to practice guns and how to learn how to kill Japanese soldiers. However, Xiao Le seemed to feel something, no longer as cheerful as he had been the previous few days.

Early the next morning, Wu Fei and his friends were running around the back mountain and found that the vegetable field had been expanded quite a bit, and bandits were sent out from the other side of the mountain gate from time to time.

"Wu Fei, why did I find that the atmosphere on the mountain today is different from usual?" He didn't take these seriously, but it doesn't mean that Xiaotong didn't notice these abnormalities.

"If there is any difference, don't you just do whatever you should do." Wu Fei said casually.

"No, you really didn't feel it?" Xiaotong was very dissatisfied with his answer, and he stopped Wu Fei and Xiaole.

"What do you feel?" Wu Fei was a little unhappy. He was unwilling to waste the good morning time on his lips and tongue.

"You idiot." Xiaotong cursed lightly, no longer caring about Wu Fei, but turned to Xiaole: "Xiaole, you didn't notice it, right?"

It was almost March, and Xiaole was still wearing a hat on his head, but the overgrown dog-skin hat had been replaced with a cloth hat. Wu Fei asked Xiaotong curiously, but he did not receive a response. After running several laps, sweat kept flowing down the brim of the hat. He had no intention of taking it off, but just wiped it with his sleeves. When he heard Xiaotong's words, he nodded first, and then used his hand to make a series of gestures.

After being together for so many days, Wu Fei still knew nothing about sign language. He looked at Xiaotong and waited to hear the translation from his mouth.

"But we are also part of Ermashan, how can we stay out of the matter?" Xiaotong did not convey Xiaole's words. Instead, responded to his words, treating Wu Fei as air.

"What did Xiaole just say?" Wu Fei could only vaguely guess that Xiaole was trying to persuade Xiaotong to concentrate on training. His curiosity was also quite good. The more Xiaotong didn't say it, the more he wanted to know.

"He said that I would concentrate on training, and these things are not something I can worry about." Xiaotong replied angrily.

"You are just eating salty radish and worrying about it. Xiaole is right. Just take care of yourself. There are Uncle Guo and the second and third leaders of the family." Seeing Xiaotong's angry look, Wu Fei half-jokingly advised.

"If everyone on the mountain had your thoughts like this, sooner or later, Ermashan would be occupied by the Japanese." Xiaole and Wu Fei's attitude made Xiaotong very upset. He threw down this sentence and turned around and ran back, not nagging: "I'm too selfish, I'm too lazy to pay attention to you."

Xiaole and Wu Fei looked at each other and shook their heads at the same time. Then they walked together tacitly and continued to run around.

After breakfast, Uncle Guo went to the village again. When he left, he didn't tell Wu Fei and the others what to train. He thought he would go back, but after waiting for a long time, he didn't show any signs of returning. Wu Fei and Xiaole went to the gun-sighting training on their own, but Xiaotong did not participate. He was still angry about the morning business, so he packed up the dishes and went to the village.

Starting from noon, bandits sent in the morning returned to the mountain one after another. They were all big and small, and it seemed that they were all going to buy them.

Wu Fei didn't want to pay attention to these things, but when he saw Xiaole's gaze, he always paid attention to them intentionally or unintentionally, so he knew that although he said he should not worry, he actually cared very much.

"Xiaole, why don't we go and have a look?"

Wu Fei tried to ask, but unexpectedly, Xiaole seemed to have been looking forward to his words for a long time, nodded quickly, and immediately got up and walked towards the mountain village, without allowing him to say the second sentence at all.

There were two more bandits with guns standing at the door at the door today, just like a whistleblower at the entrance of the provincial military camp. There were still several bandits walking back and forth on the threshing ground, with guns on the same shoulders.

Wu Fei didn't know that these people were sentries, and he still greeted them with a smile, so he naturally didn't get a response, which made him look embarrassed.

The two walked straight into the house as usual, but were stopped by two bandits at the door. Xiaole's face turned dark. He had never been stopped on Erma Mountain. No matter how big the matter was, the second and third leaders would not mind his presence, but today they were blocked for the first time.

Wu Fei was unwilling to ask, but when he saw Xiaole was very concerned, he said tentatively. Now that he was stopped, he just fits his wishes, and he immediately wanted to pull Xiaole away. But he didn't know that Xiaole, who was usually gentle, kicked two bandits in a row like a hedgehog.

Although he knew that Xiaole was a special existence in Ermashan, Wu Feicong did not expect that he would suddenly get angry. He was about to apologize to the two bandits who were kicked, but he heard the voice of the third leader inside: "Xiaole, Master Guo asked you to take Wu Fei to practice guns, don't come in."

If it were normal, Xiaole would definitely pull Wu Fei away, but today he seemed to be extremely angry. He treated the words of the third leader as air and pulled Wu Fei into it. The two bandits hesitated and reached out, but when they saw his fists raised, they shrank their hands back and let him and Wu Fei break in.

There were only Uncle Guo and Han Qi, the second leader of the family, and the third leader of the family. When Xiaole broke in, he was not angry anymore, but just stared at him.

"Uncle Guo, I'll take Xiaole away immediately." Wu Fei couldn't stand such a look and wanted to pull Xiaole away.

But a surprising scene happened. Xiaole actually walked directly to the big chair placed in the middle of the hall that had never been seen before, and sat on it in a big way.

When he was mingling with the Sandang family and the others, Wu Fei once asked why there was no big boss in the village, and why no one sat on the main chair that looked like a status. He just smiled and didn't answer. Now he understood that this chair belonged to Xiaole, and he was the big boss in the village. Xiaotong said before that they had nothing to do with Ermashan and were just lying to him, or even Xiaotong didn't know that Xiaole was the real master of Ermashan.
