Chapter 1 The Missing Sister(1/2)

Cloudy day, city c.

In the dark room.

"Tick, Tick" the clock on the wall was spinning.

"Sister, I'm starting to count down!" the twelve-year-old boy shouted to Yang. He was standing in the corner of the living room, and there was still drizzling in the window that was not closed next to him.

Xiang Yang has a sister named Xiang Xiaoxin, who is seven years old this year.

When my parents went to work, the responsibility of taking care of my sister Xiang Xiaoxin naturally fell on him who had just entered junior high school.

"ten!"

"Nine!"

Xiang Yang began to count down. He covered his eyes with a red scarf and was playing hide-and-seek with his sister.

"one!"

When the countdown ended, Xiang Yang began to move forward slowly, successfully crossing the entire living room with memory without any stumbling.

"Xiaoxin, I'll catch you!" he said.

After a while, Xiang Yang stroked the wall with his hand and came to the bathroom door.

"Haha, Xiaoxin, I know you're in there!" He began to use psychological tactics.

If the sister is really inside, he will be in a panic and try to escape. Once any movement is made, he will be sure that the sister is inside.

After saying that, Xiangyang walked into the bathroom.

This is the second step in his mental tactics.

If he still had no movement after walking a few steps, he would probably be sure that his sister was not inside.

However, he had just taken a step and heard a slight sound from his room opposite the bathroom.

His mouth raised slightly and he immediately turned around and walked into his room.

"Sister, come out, I know you're inside!" Xiang Yang said with great certainty, with a proud expression on his face.

As soon as he finished speaking, something came out again.

Judging from the direction of the sound, he guessed that his sister was hiding in the wardrobe, so he walked towards the wardrobe.

Standing in front of the wardrobe door, he held the handle of the cabinet door with both hands and said, "Xiaoxin, I've caught you."

The moment he opened the cabinet door, a commotion rang out in the cabinet.

"Haha!" Xiang Yang smiled.

"Ah!" But at this moment, a scream came from elsewhere!

After hearing that it was her sister's voice, Xiangyang's heart trembled violently, and he was stunned for a moment, his hair was numb!

My sister is not in the room, so who is in the cabinet?

"Brother, save me!" A hurried cry for help from my sister Xiang Xiaoxin came from outside the door.

After recovering from his senses, Xiang Yang turned around and rushed out of his room while taking off his red scarf.

When he arrived at the bathroom, he could not see unexpected scenes:

In the mirror in the bathroom, which was hazy by water vapor, he saw his sister's back.

In the mirror, the back was standing beside him, but in fact he was the only one standing in front of the mirror.

He was completely scared!

When he recovered, the back in the mirror had disappeared.

"Xiaoxin, Xiaoxin!" he shouted anxiously.

"Come out quickly! Don't play hide-and-seek!" he begged, his eyes flushed before he knew it.

"Xiaoxin! Xiaoxin!"

In the end, he turned around in all corners of the house and did not see his sister.

Not long after, my parents rushed back and brought two policemen.

In his room, accompanied by his parents, the police interrogated him.

Although he was a little incoherent, he still told everything that had just happened, including the back he saw in the bathroom mirror.

When he finished speaking, he saw the two policemen exchanging confused eyes, as if he didn't believe what he said.

He looked at his mother and said excitedly: "Mom, what I said just now is true!"

The heartbroken mother nodded and cried even harder.

In the end, following his confession, the police inferred that someone sneaked into the house and stole his sister, and it was possible that it was a gang of two people who committed the crime.

The policeman's conclusion was difficult for him to accept because he could not explain the back of his sister he saw in the mirror.

But he was only twelve years old, and the bizarre scenes he saw were eventually understood as being overly frightened.

He firmly believed that what he saw was not an illusion, and told his thoughts to all teachers, classmates and relatives, hoping to get trust and support.

Unfortunately, no one believed him, so he was often taken to psychological counseling.

He did not accept that he was overly frightened at that time, nor did he accept the fact that he had lost his sister.

However, the fact is: from that day on, he has never seen his sister again.

......

......

Six years later.

"Tu tu!" A knock on the door sounded.

"Xiang Yang, it's time to set off!" Dad's voice came.

"Now!" Xiang Yang responded.

After putting the photo of the family of four into his backpack, he dragged his suitcase out of the room.

He is going to go to college, but his sister Xiang Xiaoxin has been missing for six years.

An hour later, my parents took Xiang Yang to the train station.

In front of the ticket gate, he suddenly turned around and looked at his parents behind him. His mother was covering her mouth and crying, while his father looked at him with a sad face. The air was filled with the bitterness of parting.

He waved his hand and showed a bitter smile on his face. He thought that if his sister Xiang Xiaoxin was there, the atmosphere might not be so heavy and sad.

Xiang Yang no longer insisted that what he saw back then was not an illusion, but the year he was in the first year of high school.

Once when he went to the bathroom at night, he found that his mother was crying secretly in the living room, holding his sister Xiang Xiaoxin's favorite doll bear back then.

At that time, he realized that his parents were more difficult to accept the reality that his sister was missing than him.

So, from that day on, he never talked about this to others, but instead tried to show his sunny, healthy and upward side to his parents, so that his parents could feel that he had already walked out of the shadow of that matter and no longer had to worry about him.

However, deep down, he was still convinced that he was not an illusion when he saw it. In addition, he had clearly ruled out that his sister was stolen by someone. At that time, there was no trace of the crime left in the house.

Unfortunately, he was only twelve years old at that time and could not question the logical logic of resurrection.

Apart from that, he didn't know where his sister was going?

It can't be said that it was a world caught in the mirror!

When the train slowly went out to fight, Xiang Yang looked at the windowsill reluctantly. In addition to having a yearning for university life, he also held the expectation of finding his sister Xiang Xiaoxin in his heart.

......

When he arrived at the entrance of the university campus of H City, Xiang Yang stopped, looked up at the sign on the campus gate, his mouth slightly raised, and he thought to himself, "I'm here in college!"

Next, under the leadership of a fellow villager, Lin Shuhua, he quickly completed the admission report and came to his university dormitory - Room 503, Building B5.

After chatting for a few words, the fellow villager and senior left, Xiangyang packed his luggage alone.

After a while, a man born with a dark and dark skin came in with an old suitcase. This was one of his roommates, Xiao Su.

After smiling politely at Xiao Su, Xiang Yang said, "Hello, I'm Xiang Yang."

"I, I am Xiao Su." Xiao Su said, he looked a little nervous.

Then the two fell silent and each packed their own things.

When it was lunch, Xiang Yang received a call from his senior who said he wanted to take him to the cafeteria for dinner.

After going downstairs, Xiang Yang waited for the senior downstairs in the dormitory.

After waiting for a while, his shoulder was suddenly patted. He was startled and was even more shocked when he turned around and saw the person patting his shoulder.

"Are you surprised or surprised?" the man asked, with a playful and arrogant smile on his face.

"Why is it you?" Xiangyang said with anger. The person in front of him was Zhao Gaoming. He used to be his classmate in his first year of high school. He relied on his family's wealth and power to be domineering in the school, and he also had the title of Guanwen Little Overlord.

Because he had had conflicts with Zhao Gaoming many times, Xiang Yang was full of disgust with him. He didn't expect that he could not get rid of Zhao Gaoming even after he went to college. He was really a narrow road to enemies.

"Why can't it be me!"
