Chapter 7 Rose Road

When the car drove to Rose 3rd Road, Su Jing knew that this was where he was looking for.

As soon as he arrived at the intersection, the noise from Zhizhiya came. He finally knew why some people sang so badly. Not only were the singers singers singers singers singers, but even the inferior speakers were singers. The sounds emitted were completely distorted.

"Just get off here. The streets here are all open-air businesses. We usually don't go in and we can't get in at all." The driver parked the car at the intersection and said.

After getting off the rental, Su Jing walked into Rose 3 Road. The street was indeed full of open-air stalls, from daily necessities to clothing to counterfeit antiques. There were also long barbecue stalls in the middle of the street. It was working hours now, and there were not many pedestrians on the street.

He stood on the street, recalling where he heard the sound yesterday.

But when I heard the sound, I felt very erratic and could not tell the direction. Now, relying on memories, I can’t remember anything.

He looked around and chose a few old stalls that seemed to have been operating for many years and asked about them one by one.

"Boss, let's find out what happened. Is there a little boy named Yijie living nearby?"

"I don't know, I just set up a stall here and I can't stay here."

"So..." Su Jing thought for a while and asked again, "Then is there an alley nearby connected to the residential community?"

Before the vendor selling skin care products in the street stall answered, a passerby next to him said, "Yijie, is he talking about Lao Yi's son?"

The skin care stall vendor said, "It's that little ghost? I've known that I've been looking for Yigui. I don't know where he lives, but his dad drinks in the open-air bar in front every day."

The underwear vendor on the other side said, "It's a sin. The little ghost is beaten to a purple body every day. When he walks out, he looks like a dead ghost. So we have called him Yigui since he was a child. If you don't tell me today, I don't know that his scientific name is Yijie."

Su Jing asked: "So, will he live here?"

The skin care vendor said: "No, he lives on 5th or 6th Street, and sometimes comes to find his dad. But have you seen that kid...?"

Su Jing shook his head. Judging from the messages on the wall, this unlucky naughty child probably has nothing to see.

The boss continued, "You will know when you see it. You are covered in bruises. It is difficult to walk on the road without attracting attention, so we all know him."

Su Jing said "Oh" that he didn't care. He was not interested in the lives of these virtual people.

Since Yijie does live in this nearby section of the road, the alley must not be too far away.

As long as he confirms that the alley is nearby, he can leave the rest to the network map. The world's network has no panoramic map, only long-distance satellite maps and traffic maps, but as long as he walks around a few nearby communities, he should be able to find a place.

"If you are looking for Yijie, you can go directly to the open-air bar in front to find it, the one with speakers, maybe he is there." said the underwear vendor.

Su Jing asked: "Don't he have to go to school?"

The underwear vendor nodded: "Go. But his dad... He drank outside for twelve hours twenty-four hours a day and didn't cook. The kid cooked by himself. Sometimes he would come to his dad at noon and eat some big cakes outside."

Su Jing thought to himself that if he could find the child directly, it would definitely save a lot of trouble. Give him a few lollipops and ask him which path it was.

He said "thank you" to the people, and walked in with the harsh noise, and soon saw the simple open-air bar with old-fashioned horns.

It is said to be a bar, but it is actually an open-air snack bar with four or five small round tables, a street KTV, and some wine and snacks are placed on the simple bar.

The time of this world is still in 2010 AD. Even so, Su Jing felt that even if the time of the outside world was back forty or fifty years, such bars were probably visited by few people.

But there were several people sitting on these four or five small round tables drinking, and someone was singing in front of the mini ktv.

Su Jing inspected it and found that there were no children here. Calculate the time, and school should not be over yet.

He walked straight to the counter of the open-air bar and saw a man in his forties washing cups inside. He put his arms on the counter, "Boss, ask for something."

The boss who was washing his cups turned around.

At that moment, Su Jing saw the vigilant horizontal pupils in his eyes.

Horizontal pupils... monster?

Just when Su Jingwei was stunned, the bar owner's pupils had returned to normal. He shook the water droplets on his hand and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Yijie. Do you know him? I heard that his father often drinks here." Su Jing said in his eyes.

The bar owner avoided Su Jing's gaze unnaturally and looked at his customers, "You can find it yourself."

"Look for it yourself?"

The bar owner still turned his head and refused to look at Su Jing's eyes, "Although I am a small business, there are many customers, and people come and go, how can I know everyone."

Playing this with me? Su Jing leaned against the bar counter, stretched out his hands and grabbed the bar owner's collar through the bar counter, "Oh? If I kept here, the father and son came to show that they were familiar with you. What would you do if you end up?"

"…I…I did nothing." The bar owner leaned his head back desperately: "If you were looking for Lao Yi and his son, they didn't come today."

Su Jing asked, "Where do they live?"

"I really don't know. That man often comes to drink, and sometimes his son also comes to have some snacks for lunch... I really don't know anything else... You also know that we are not suitable to be too familiar with people..."

Su Jing narrowed his eyes, "Do you know me?"

"We have photos of you inside... sometimes we also communicate some updates about your recent actions..."

Photos? Dynamics? Su Jing thinks about his experience in K-World in the past few months. It seems that it is normal for the demons and ghosts in this city to be regarded as thorns in his eyes. After all, there are so many ghosts that die under him that he can't even remember them.

Several drunkards sitting next to him drinking morning drinks had already stood up and whispered. Looking at their stance, they seemed to want to rush over to save the bar owner.

Su Jing had no intention of fighting with ordinary people. If things got worse and entered the police station, he might not be investigated by a sensitive policeman.

He let go of the bar owner and also dusted his collar for him, "I hope you don't lie. You are not familiar with people. You should always be familiar with alleys nearby, right?"

"Hutong?" The bar owner was stunned, "No, I don't go out..."

Su Jing's eyes narrowed again.

"It doesn't make sense for you to ask him like this. Old deer rarely goes out. Herbivores are timid." A young man's voice suddenly rang behind Su Jing.

Su Jing turned around. Behind him was a man wearing a loose hooded jacket. He was gray and had a big hat. He wore it on his head to cover most of his face. He could only see the other party's clean and slightly raised chin.

"Who are you?" Su Jing asked.

The man in a hooded suit said, "I'm very familiar with this nearby, where are you looking for?"

"A hutong. The kind that is opposite the back door, the z-shaped alley, there are some words written by children on the wall inside, Yijie is a fool."

"I got it, come with me." The man said as he walked straight to the other end of the street.
