Chapter 44 Party(2/3)

On the other side, Natasha took Coven around, said hello to several other Avengers, and then the two came to the bar.

Natasha opened the horizontal panel and walked into the bar. She raised her chin towards the wine cabinet and asked, "Would you like a drink today?"

"Fine."

Ke Wen sat on the bar chair, nodded and said, "Same as before."

"learn."

Natasha turned to face the wine cabinet and said while looking for suitable wine: "High taste, low alcohol..."

A clue soon emerged, so Natasha took out a few bottles of wine from the wine cabinet and started mixing them skillfully.

Not long after, a tall and elegant woman came to the bar and interrupted Natasha and Coven's chat.

"Hi Natasha."

A mature woman in a red dress greeted with a smile.

Then she looked at Kewen and smiled: "You must be Dr. Kewen Quinn, right? Natasha and Clint have praised you a lot, and they are finally lucky enough to meet you today."

Extending his hand: "Maria Hill, now works in the human resources department of this building."

"Hello." Ke Wen stretched out his hand and shook hands.

"Hill was once the deputy director of SHIELD." Natasha introduced at the bar: "He saved Captain Rogers and me, otherwise we would have been controlled by Hydra."

"Hello!" Kewen said hello again, with a more cordial expression: "Thank you for your help to Natasha."

“Interesting attitude…”

Hill looked at Natasha, with a hint of ridicule in her smile: "Am I disturbing you?"

"Do not make jokes."

Natasha's smile was slightly stiff, and she shrugged her shoulders towards Maria Hill: "You know, how could I possibly."

"Perhaps nothing is impossible."

A voice sounded from not far away, and Steve Rogers came over with a black man.

"Feel sorry."

Arriving at the bar, Steve showed an apologetic smile to everyone: "I just overheard your chat."

Everyone showed a smile that didn't mind.

Seeing this, Steve continued: "I think you are pretty good, I mean Romanoff and Dr. Quinn."

This made Natasha smile and avoid looking, covering up her sadness with an embarrassed expression.

Ke Wen also showed an embarrassed look at the right time.

Steve didn't seem to notice anything. He said to Coven warmly: "Romanov is a great teammate, but she doesn't like to open her heart very much."

"But every time she faces you, Dr. Quinn, she seems to be very relaxed and real."

"We are good friends!" Natasha immediately explained.

"Is it?"

Steve pursed his lips and smiled. He looked at Natasha and then persuaded: "Maybe in the whole world, I am the person who misses opportunities the most, so don't miss it."

Natasha gave a forced and perfunctory smile.

Steve raised his eyebrows, picked up a glass of wine from the bar, and then changed the topic.

He pointed to the black man next to him and introduced to Coven: "This is Sam Wilson, a good friend of mine."

"This is Dr. Colvin Quinn."

Steve introduced to Sam again: "Dr. Quinn's medical skills make it impossible for any of us to choose any other medical institution."

"Hello."

"Hello."

Corwin shook hands with Sam.

"Then let's talk later." Steve said goodbye with a smile: "If I continue to stay here, it seems to make the atmosphere awkward. Please forgive me..."

Steve raised his finger and tapped his head: "My thoughts seem to be still in the last century."

"I won't disturb your good things anymore."

Maria Hill also smiled and said goodbye, winking at Natasha with her left eye: "Don't miss it, there is no difficulty that cannot be overcome."

After saying that, Maria Hill smiled and turned around and left with Steve.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment, and Natasha laughed softly: "Are you embarrassed?"

"No……"

Ke Wen shook his head and said with a smile: "So, everyone knows what you are worried about?"

"nothing."

Natasha was a little perfunctory: "You should be able to understand, right? As an agent, you naturally have to build a wall around your heart. I don't know which mission I lost my life in, so I basically don't think about anything else."

Hearing this, Ke Wen couldn't continue the conversation, so he showed a comforting smile and raised his wine glass.

Ding!

The wine glasses clashed, the two raised their heads and drank the wine in the glasses, and then changed the topic in a tacit understanding.

The party lasted late into the night.

After the end, Coven was retained again and invited to join the Avengers' internal team.

The location of the party was changed to the lounge on a higher floor.

In addition to Coven and all the Avengers, there were also Helen Zhao, Colonel Rhodes and Maria Hill present.

Everyone sat around the coffee table, laughing and talking about some light topics while drinking.

Everyone will tell some interesting stories around them, and after having a laugh, everyone will toast to drink together.

After a few rounds, Zhao Hailun was the first to drink and fell down, fell asleep on the sofa.

This did not cool down everyone's enthusiasm, and the party continued.

Soon it was Saul's turn to tell anecdotes.

He told some stories about his battles in the Nine Realms, but because he boasted too seriously, everyone interrupted him and asked him to tell some other interesting stories.

Thor thought for a moment, then raised his hand to summon Mjolnir and placed it on the coffee table.

He talked about the difficulty of making the ‘Meow Hammer’, and also talked about the difficulty of being recognized by the ‘Meow Hammer’.

Everyone was used to Thor's boasting, so they still believed that Thor had exaggerated his description of Thor's hammer.

Thor was very open about this. He gestured to Mjolnir: "You can try it yourself."

"real?"

Clint, who was lying on the sofa, stood up and said with a frightening smile: "Then I really tried it?"

"Please." Thor spread his palm towards Mjolnir.

"Are you really not worried?"

Clint walked around the coffee table and walked towards Mjolnir, while teasingly repeating what Thor had just said, lowering his voice and saying in a falsetto: "No matter who you are, as long as you are worthy, you can get power."

Clutching his hand on the handle of Mjolnir, Clint smiled at Thor and asked, "Aren't you afraid that I will really lift the hammer and take away your power?"

Sol was not worried. He curled his lips and made a gesture of invitation again: "It doesn't matter, just try."

Clint said no more. He lowered his head and looked down at Mjolnir, grasped it tightly, and lifted it up with force.

However, Thor's hammer did not move at all.

After persisting for a breath, Clint gave up immediately.

Released his held breath, he shook his head and smiled: "Okay, I admit that the trick on the hammer stumped me."

"Did you hear the silent taunt?"

Tony Stark joked: "The hammer is saying you don't lift it."

"Please quickly!"

Clint raised his hand to invite Tony Stark: "Come on, Mr. Stark, please show me your strength again."

Tony Stark stood up in response and said frivolously as he walked towards Mjolnir: "It's just simple physics. Thor? If I lift it, can I be the king of Asgard?"

"Okay." Sol nodded with raised eyebrows.

"Then I want to restore the lord's first night rights."
