Chapter 64 Rookie Challenge

Don't underestimate anyone who shows up at the NBA All-Star Game, no matter whether he is a man, a woman, an old man or a child. Just give them a shot, it proves that they have been calling the wind and rain in the NBA.

There are too many shots before the start of the rookie challenge. The head coaches and assistant coaches of both sides of the rookie challenge, and the figures of the rookies are not half as big as theirs. It is obvious that these four head coaches are absolutely extraordinary. Although they are not young, two of them are even gray-haired.

Chuck Daley, the first-year head coach. I believe anyone who has studied NBA history and Michael Jordan knows his name and his glory. His bad boys corps, the infamous Jordan rule he invented and created, has changed people's view on defense.

Many people wonder: Philadelphia hosts the All-Star, why did the Pistons coach come? Is it because the 76ers are gone?

In fact, Chuck Daley has a deep relationship with the 76ers. Chuck Daley's initial coaching career started with the 76ers. Even his current assistant coach, Darrell Dawkins, had been with the 76ers, and he even smashed two rebounds at the 76ers, becoming the first player in NBA history to smash rebounds.

Interestingly, Darrell Dawkins won a championship with Chuck Daly in the last year of his career, of course he was a substitute at that time. This made the pistons in the first grade look much stronger.

The second graders are the authentic 76ers. Their head coach invited the 76ers' meritorious head coach when he won the championship in 1983, the former NBA superstar Billy Cningham. Billy Cningham is also a small shareholder of the 76ers. He is a genuine 76ers with traces of 76ers engraved on his body.

Maybe Billy Cningham's time is too far away, but his achievements are definitely no lower than Chuck Daly. Former 76ers management Pat Williams once commented on Billy Cningham:

"Cningham's life experience is amazing. He is a star, once selected as the best team in the United States, an All-Star, a coach, has a first-class coaching winning rate, a top commentator, and has become a small shareholder of the team. I don't know what else he can't do!"

Yes! This former Kangaroo boy won almost all the awards he deserved on the basketball court.

The assistant coach is Bobby Jones, a proud disciple of Billy Cningham, the main player when he won the championship in 1983 in 1976. He is the player with the highest shooting percentage in the forward position in NBA history. He has never missed a playoff in his career. He is also a superstar with a scent of 76 people all over his body.

Of course, most people will think that this is a battle between the Pistons and the 76ers when they see these two pairs! In fact, this is a civil war between the 76ers.

Chuck Daley squatted on the ground, explaining the tactics with a tactical board, while Darrell Dawkins sat on the ground, his eyes constantly swept towards all kinds of beauties in the stands. This guy is already old and his original intention of playing basketball has not changed so far. It seems that seducing all kinds of beauties is the greatest responsibility given to him by God.

The so-called tactics talk about a lot of internal and external combinations, pick-and-roll cooperation, but in fact it is useless. In the first three quarters of this game, basically who has the ball in his hand and who attacks, takes less jump shots, and has more dunks. Don’t try to defend closely, and don’t try to create any offensive fouls. If you can block a shot, don’t attract jealousy.

First-year starters: Kwame Brown, Paul Gasol, Sean Bathir, Jason Richardson, Tony Parker

Sophomore starters: Chris Mime, Kenyon Martin, Marcus Fezer, Desmond Mason, Mike Miller

Chris Meim and I stood in the middle circle and prepared to jump the ball. This may be one of the few competitive shots in the first three quarters. Chris Meim was obviously not good at bounce, and I easily captured the ball.

Jason Richardson picked up the basketball, moved his legs with an electric motor installed, and rushed to the front court like a wind. No one could defend. All the sophomores walked back slowly. Jason Richardson entered the paint area, jumped hard, flew into the air, held the ball round with both hands, and handed the ball with his right hand, and opened the curtain of the performance with an extremely domineering windmill dunk.

I almost didn't move. This game was completely the world of those spring people. Even if O'Neal comes, he had to give way. Of course, the big Shark O'Neal's funny genius made him get a lot of points. But it is undeniable that the defensive center is really not very photogenic in this kind of amusement game. What the audience hopes to see are all kinds of pleasing dunks and all kinds of goals from new referees.

Mike Miller quickly advanced to the frontcourt and directed his personal position. I followed Chris Mime casually to prevent him from attacking the basket by himself and treat me as a back. Although the game is a bit heavier in this game, it is not very good to let me be a back.

The inside line was very open, Mike Miller accelerated, then stopped quickly, and threw the ball into the basket with both hands. Tony Parker, who was defending him, didn't even shake his body because Parker had no idea to stop Mike Miller's action.

The ball flew in the air, not very high, and was level with the basket. I looked up at the basketball and thought, this was a very good opportunity to catch the ball and dunk.

A figure penetrated in from a 45-degree angle on the right, jumped into the air, stretched out his right hand, and poured the basketball into the basket hard.

It's Kenyon Martin!

Paul Gasol, who defended him, was still dazed at the top of the arc.

The opening was two beautiful slam dunks, and the atmosphere in the audience was rising. The famous vocalists and the major pillars of ABC kept talking about the two slam dunks loudly. The tone of DJ on the scene also instantly increased n decibels, shouting at the top of his lungs.

I'm in a miserable state. I guess Paul Gasol is even worse than me. At least I still have bounces. It is still possible to seize the opportunity to get a few powerful slam dunks, and Paul Gasol failed to pass the minimum bounce.

Soon, Paul Gasol, who affected the audience's mood, ended up. I, who was slightly better than him, was still running back and forth on the field.

Napoleon once said: A soldier who does not want to be a general is not a good soldier. No one in this world wants to be a supporting role for others. Anyone wants to stand in the center of the stage, enjoy cheering, and worship others.

The same goes for me. I have been tired of the audience position a few times, and I think I can participate in it myself. I mentioned the power forward position and left the center to Brandon Heywood, who replaced Paul Gasol. My position is a little more lively, and I hope I can be a glorious and can't be a supporting role for others.
