Section 6 Gonzaga University
The so-called NCAA is not an organization like NBA and CBA that only involves basketball; its full name is National Collegiate Athleticassociation, translated in Chinese as: National University Sports Association. NCAA began on December 28, 1905. At the initiative of President Theodore Roosevelt (later Franklin Roosevelt’s uncle), led by the president of New York University Henry McCracken (hereafter, President Franklin Roosevelt), the predecessor of NCAA was founded by Henry McCracken (hereafter, the president of New York University Henry McCracken). The founding members include 62 colleges and universities. After several years of development, the organization renamed NCAA in 1910 and continues to this day.
Gonzaga University is located in Spokane, Washington. The basketball team was established in 1907-08. The team did not have a head coach that season, but they achieved an excellent record of 9 wins and 2 losses. Until 1933, a total of 14 head coaches coached the Gonzaga University Bulldogs, but they all won 50 games in total. Only two coaches won more than 12 games.
In 1933, claudemcgrath took over the coaching spell. He stayed with the Bulldogs until 1942, then left briefly, and returned from 1946 to 1949. He became the first 100-win coach in school history. His record when he left office was 129 wins and 133 losses.
Then until 1951, the Bulldogs were struggling. The coach Hankanderson led the team to 290 wins and chose to leave in 1972. In 1978, Danfitzgerald took over the team. He coached the Bulldogs twice from 1978 to 1981, 1985 to 1997, with a record of 252 wins and 171 losses. In the 1994 to 95 season, the Gonzaga University Bulldogs won the West Coast League championship under his leadership, entered the NCAA Championship for the first time and was listed as the No. 14 seed, but lost to the third seed Marylandterrapins in the first round.
Dan-Monson Era
After the season in 1997, former assistant coach Dan Monson was promoted to head coach, the son of former Idahovandals and Oregonducks head coach Don Monson. He started coaching in 1986, and was an assistant coach at the University of Alabama-Birmingham until 1988 when he came to the Gonzaga Bulldogs and worked as an assistant coach under Danfitzgerald.
1996-1997 season
Dan Monson took over the first season, with a record of 15 wins and 12 losses, and a 5-0 start. In the division championship, the Bulldogs defeated Loyola Marymont University Lions and Sandiegotoreros to enter the division championship finals, but lost to Sanfrancisco University Nobles 67-80. Unfortunately, they did not qualify for the NCAA Championship, but were invited to participate in the NIT Invitational and lost to the University of Hawaii at Manoa Warriors in the second round (haww

In the new season, they left behind two of the best players in the team, Matt Swarovsello and Richiefrahm. In the first game of the new season, Gonzaga lost to the No. 8 seed of the United States kansasjayhawww.jtxsk.comgtonhuskies. The Bulldogs entered the championship as the No. 10 seed, and lived up to expectations in the first round, defeating the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers 75-63. In the second round, they even beat the No. 7 seed Stanford Cardinal 82-74 to enter the Sweet 16. Their opponent was the floridagators who also made it to the quarterfinals with a dark horse. This time their opponent is the powerful connecticuthuskies. The Huskimo Dogs ended the Bulldogs' semi-final dream 67-62.
After this season, the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers sent a job invitation to head coach Monson, who accepted the contract and went to Minnesota to coach. In the two divisions where Monson coached, Gonzaga achieved an excellent record of 52 wins and 17 losses.
Mark Few took over the team before the 1990-2000 season started. The Bulldogs' performance in the past season was not ideal. The star Dan Dicao participated in this year's draft and was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the first round. John Stockton is the only superstar in the history of the school.
All this was told by the nagging black school doctor after Chamberlain arrived at Gonzaga University in the United States and passed the team test and became a member of the Bulldogs.
It is also Chamberlain's luck to be able to pass the team's test. In recent years, the Bulldogs' sluggish results have not attracted much attention to those high school stars. Now, the team's core Blake Steep, Chamberlain has no impression of him at all. Also, thanks to the system in his mind, his standard basic posture has brought him a lot of extra points during the test, but with his body, he still has a long way to go for a poor breakthrough shooting.
