Chapter seven hundred and forty-eight [no excuses, no progress]

Before the 2010 deadline, several big deals appeared.

In the three-party deal between the Rockets, Pistons and Knicks, the Rockets sent McGrady to the Knicks, Joey Dorsey and Carl Landry to the Pistons, and Rodney Starkey and Hilton Armstrong from the Pistons, Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill, and the 2011 first-round draft pick swap rights (no. 1 pick protection), and a 2012 first-round draft pick (top five pick protection).

The Pistons sent power forward Villanueva, who had just signed for a short time, to the Knicks. They received Jerome James, Tim Thomas and Anthony Robertson from the Knicks.

The Pistons originally wanted to achieve results this season, but they were still at the bottom of the middle, so they changed to a more thorough reconstruction. O'Neal's expiration in the summer, plus the two expiration contracts that were exchanged will release a lot of salary space.

However, the economic crisis pushed Detroit to the edge of a cliff, making it difficult to attract big-name stars to join.

The Rockets' goal is to strengthen the inside and point guard positions to compete for the playoffs. They do not want to play badly, nor do they want to hope to attract big names to join in the summer, so they will take action in advance.

The Cavaliers and Wizards and Clippers reached an agreement, and the Cavaliers will send center Ilgoskas, a future first-round draft pick, and the draft signing rights of 2009 second-round rookie small forward Emil Pridezic to the Wizards.

As a third party, the Clippers will send small forward Al Thorton to the Wizards and point guard Sebastian Terfer to the Cavaliers.

As for the Wizards, in addition to sending Jamison to the Cavaliers, they also need to send the power forward Drew Guden, who had just been exchanged for from the Mavericks, to the Clippers.

The Cavaliers have always wanted to get a power forward who can take into account both shooting and rebounding. They chased Jamison last season, but the price was not satisfactory to the Wizards. Now, they have only paid a relatively low price and successfully obtained Jamison.

The Wizards became the worst team in the East, which was somewhat unexpected.

Arenas finally returned from injury and showed good form after the start of the new season. He averaged 22.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. Unfortunately, after playing 32 games, Arenas was suspended from the league for indefinitely for "gun possession".

The Wizards were forced to start reconstruction and cruelly sent another star, Caron Butler, to the Mavericks.

Now, James saw hope of winning the championship again and the pressure increased. Jamison and Mo Williams assisted two second-rate stars, and there would be no excuse to lose again!

At the same time, Wang Jun also announced his comeback plan in the face of the media, entering the free market in the summer without mentioning it back to the Bulls.

Wang Jun's five-year contract has expired, and the Bulls management cannot force him to stay in the team.

In April, the NBA regular season ended.

The Cavaliers won the league with 61 wins and 21 losses, making them the only team in the regular season to win 60+ games.

When there were super strong teams in the past, fans hoped that there would be someone who could compete with the Bulls. Now that the competition is in competition, they feel bored and no stars have scored 50+ in a whole season.

The most exciting game happened on December 30, 2009. James scored 48 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists against the Hawks, made 15 points, 2 of 5 three-pointers, and made 16 free throws. His real shooting percentage was as high as 80%.

Durant scored the scoring champion with 30.2 points, but he didn't make many moves, averaging only 20.3 times per game, with an average score, and no super high score performance in a single game.

The NBA's offensive center of gravity has begun to get cheaper to the outside line, and there are more people who make three-pointers, but Curry, who ranked first in the league, averages only 2.7 per game, which is not comparable to Wang Jun.

The Bulls only won the seventh place in the Eastern Conference and barely entered the playoffs, with 45 wins and 39 losses, and the Raptors lost 43 wins and 41 losses, and caught the last train of the playoffs.

The ninth place is the Bobcats. Even if Larry Brown is hired as a coach, Dior, Jackson, Bale and other players came in the mid-term trading. The Bobcats still failed to taste the playoffs. Only Kwame Brown is their biggest weakness at the center.

The Wizards are at the bottom, the Nets and the Knicks are also very poor, and the New York team is difficult to make a comeback.

The Lakers, who have the highest record in the Western Conference, have 57 wins and 25 losses, and the Spurs have barely made it to the playoffs with 44 wins. In the mid-term, they traded small forward Salmons, otherwise they might not be able to maintain the record of entering the playoffs every year.

The Rockets ranked ninth with 42 wins, while the Grizzlies ranked tenth with 39 wins.

After cutting Ben Wallace, the Hornets had no one available inside, and the substitute was poor, ranking eleventh; Yao Ming's Clippers were ranked twelfth; the Warriors were rebuilt around Ellis; the Kings won 26 games by offense, second to last, and failed to beat the 16-win Timberwolves.

Rubio did not log in to NBA, and Tabit became a joke. He and Jefferson could not play together. They moved slowly and could not keep up with the pace of the game. A pick-and-roll allowed the defender to pass by casually.

In his rookie season, he averaged only 15 minutes per game, and he is not a qualified player in the bottom-ranked team. He averaged 3.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, and had almost no assist ability.

At the beginning of the playoffs, Wang Jun went to TN*t as a guest again to explain the first round showdown between the Lakers vs Spurs.

Kobe broke out in the first battle. He used to be active in the Spurs, but now the opponent has no outside defense vanguard.

The Spurs allowed Ginobili to enter the lineup, and they could score against Kobe but couldn't defend themselves.

Wang Jun commented: "Some people think that Ginobili is not as good as Kobe, but his playing time is short, so the data is poor. In fact, Kobe defeated Ginobili in terms of resilience and his defense is better."

The Lakers have more obvious advantages in the interior. The Spurs play the center with Duncan, and the power forward is veteran Mike Dyce, which is already the most reliable inside player outside Duncan.

Barkley looked down on the Spurs: "If we cannot strengthen the inside and small forward position, the Spurs will not be a champion contender in the next few years. After McDyce left the court, he will only be a big man who can't defend."

Wang Jun smiled and said, "They also have Dejuan Blair, who is only tall and weighs 120 kilograms. He is too disadvantageous on the defensive end."

The Lakers won easily by combining the inside and outside in the first game.

The second game was not broadcast nationwide, and the Spurs could not cause any storm at the Staples Center. Duncan had a chance, and the inside defense was full of loopholes.

Back at home, the solution that *Vicci came up with was to let Tony Parker lead the substitute and let 2008 rookie George Hill.

This is a good strategy. Hill can defend, shoot three-pointers, and is very selfless and play. Despite his poor organizational skills, he is still valued as a shooting guard.

The Spurs took a 17-point lead in the first half, and in the second half, the inside disadvantage began to appear.

The Spurs rely too much on Duncan and are not good at defending other positions. McDace did not renew his contract with the Pistons and wanted to compete for the championship at the end of his career, but unfortunately he chose the wrong team.

Gasol, Kobe played the role in the final quarter, Fisher also made two three-pointers, Artest defended Salmons to death. The Lakers won 5 points in reverse. Except for the GDP combination, all the Spurs players were silent.

The Spurs could not make up for the lineup gap and were swept out at home.

The Thunder defeated the Mavericks 4-1, the Suns defeated the Trail Blazers 4-2, and the Jazz eliminated the Nuggets 4-2.

The Eastern Cavaliers eliminated the Raptors 4-1, the Celtics defeated the Bulls 4-1, the Magic defeated the Heat 4-2, and the Bucks defeated the Hawks 4-3.

Other games are not as easy as the Lakers, and many people predict that the Lakers will move forward and achieve the title defense.
