(First release from Qidian, piracy will be prosecuted!)
In fact, many people misunderstood "Jin Ping Mei" and regarded this book as "" and "lewd book". In fact, "Jin Ping Mei" has another title, which is known as the well-deserved "Britain of Great Britain studying the Ming Dynasty". In other words, as long as you want to study the Ming Dynasty, "Jin Ping Mei" must be read. The book covers everything, such as rogues, peddlers, high-ranking officials, nobles, and elegant literati and elegant guests, are all portrayed vividly. It can be said that it is a gallery of historical life in the Ming Dynasty similar to "Along the River During the Qingming Festival". The inspiration you get is better than reading a lot of historical materials.
In addition, "Jin Ping Mei" is not very famous among ordinary people among the people, but among the literati, poets, celebrities and scholars since ancient times, it has always been called "strange books" and "elegant books". Therefore, there is a saying that "live in bed on a snowy night and reads Jin Ping outside the window in a wind and rain."
If we use this logic to infer that Mr. Yue, a "literati and elegant man", and the "Taishan Beidou" in the calligraphy and painting world, would be reasonable to bring a set of "Jin Ping Mei" to entertain the fun; on the contrary, if he brought a set of "Water Margin" that kills and sets fires at every turn and makes birds full of birds, it would be strange.
Looking back, looking at the binding and cover design of this set of books, it looks simple and elegant. Three women, one wearing white clothes, one wearing a blue shirt, and the other wearing a red robe. The three men tied their heads with a Ming-style bun, willow eyebrows, almond eyes, oval face, and smiled. Their eyebrows and eyes were vivid and lifelike. Needless to say, these three women must be Pan Jinlian, Li Ping'er and Pang Chunmei, and the man who was facing the red woman and sleeping on the bed must be the legendary "model men" Ximen Qing and Ximen Daren.
Just from the binding composition and cover design of this book, it presents a classic and elegant style of a great master. Even if Lin Yi is not the very typical "cover control", he still can't help but swallow his mouth when he sees such a cover design, just like a treasure trove that everyone can't put it down.
When I saw the treasure, since I couldn't put it down, I had to read it carefully. So Lin Yi opened the copyright page of the hardcover book. After looking carefully, he was stunned. It turned out to be the 1989 Qilu version of "New Embroidered Images Criticizing Jin Ping Mei", which was hardcover in satin. It was the only uncut printed version after the founding of the People's Republic of China, with a full coated paper, number 2551.
Seeing this, Lin Yi's "thief eyes" became even brighter.
...
You should know that "Jin Ping Mei", known as the "No. 1 Strange Book in the World", has had three slightly different versions: one is a few early manuscripts. Unfortunately, except for the correspondence or notes of some scholars in the Ming Dynasty, these early manuscripts have not been passed down; the second is the ci-say book, namely "Jin Ping Mei Ci Hua" published during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. At present, three have been discovered in the world. Except for one that has been passed down through the United States and is now hidden in Taiwan, the other two have been left in Japan; the third is as many as seven or eight rap copies of "New Embroidered Images Criticizing Jin Ping Mei" and "Zhang Zhupo Criticizing the First Strange Book" published during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty.
Among these three versions, the most widely circulated and well-known are the lyrics and rap books. However, the lyrics and rap books have not been sorted and proofreaded and are not suitable for ordinary readers. The rap books are more suitable for ordinary readers because they have been rewritten and added and deleted by anonymous literati. Another feature of the rap books is that the book contains a large number of eyebrows, side note and interpolated note, and some also have Zhang Zhupo's comments, and some are equipped with up to 200 woodcut illustrations specially published by several Ming Dynasty woodcutters.
However, for many collectors of the "Jin Ping Mei" version, there are actually two versions of this set of books, namely the clean book and the full book.
What does it mean, smart people understand.
It is said that in 1985, under the auspices of Ms. Wei Junyi, the People's Publishing House, under the auspices of "Jin Ping Mei Cihua", was published. This was a breakthrough and innovation in public publishing since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Later, other publishing houses also published various clean books one after another, so that for a period of time, the eunuch version of "Jin Ping Mei" bloomed in a long time, becoming an intriguing landscape.
Among these clean books, as far as Lin Yi knows, the most famous one is---
1 "Jin Ping Mei Cihua", published by People's Literature Publishing House in 1985. Dai Hongsen proofreaded by three paperback volumes (belonging to the Chinese novel historical materials series), printed 10,000 sets for the first time, with a price of 12 yuan. There are 36 woodcut illustrations, with a total of 19,174 characters deleted. Now the old books are sold for - - 400 yuan.
In addition, in July 1989, People's Publishing House also released two volumes and one set of hardcover books, with 35 illustrations, priced at 55 yuan. Now the old books are sold for - -220 yuan.
2 "Zhang Zhupo's Criticism of the First Strange Book - Jin Ping Mei", published by Shandong Qilu Bookstore in October 1987. Wang Rumei, Li Zhaoxu, and Yu Fengshu have compiled two hardcover volumes, with several color pictures painted by Chen Quansheng. The book has been deleted in total 10,398 words, and 10,000 sets were printed for the first time, with a price of 28 yuan. It has even been printed many times. There have even been pirated. Now the genuine old books are sold for - 315 yuan, and pirated books are 80 yuan.
3. "Jin Ping Mei Cihua", published by People's Literature Publishing House in October 2000, Tao Muning proofreaded and fine-covered two volumes, and several illustrations were also included. The book has 4,300 words deleted, and 8,000 sets were printed for the first time, and the price was 96 yuan. The binding design of this version is quite beautiful, the proofreading is very careful, the paper and printing are relatively exquisite, and the simplified deletion is less than other clean books. It is a version of several clean books that is worth reading and collecting. Now the old books are sold for - 240 yuan.
...
In addition to the above "clean version", in fact, for countless "golden fans", what I want most is the "full version" of this set of books, so there is a saying that "If you don't read the full version of Jin Pingmei, you will be ashamed of Lanling Xiaoxiaosheng."
In fact, as early as 1931, someone discovered the woodcut book "Jin Ping Mei Ci Hua" (full version) in Jiexiu, Shanxi, which attracted the attention of scholars and experts. In 1933, Mr. Ma Lian from the Kongde Library in Beijing raised funds to photocopy 120 copies. Mr. Lu Xun and Mr. Zheng Zhenduo and others had ordered a lot of money. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, according to Mao Taizu's instructions on "Jin Ping Mei" for reference, which means that the plot of insulting women in the book is not good, and the provincial committees and secretary can be read", the relevant departments used the 1933 edition as the basis number to register and issue 2,000 sets (also printed 1,000 sets) for provincial and military-level cadres and a few writers to purchase. Therefore, the supply range of books is very small, and there are not many people who know it, and the impact is very small, but now the book has become a treasure.
Although Lin Yi is not the kind of super crazy "golden fan", he also knows some knowledge about these full books through the records on "Reading Notes". The most famous ones are the following types--
1. "Newly Engraved Jin Ping Mei Ci" was published by Beijing Literature and Ancient Books Issuing Agency in October 1957. It has 21 volumes of two letters, 20 volumes of text, one volume of pictures, two pictures per episode, a total of 200 pictures. It is based on the 1933 photocopy, and is priced at 40 yuan. It can be purchased by cadres at the ministerial level and above. Now the price of old books is - 78,000 yuan, and the special version is hundreds of thousands.
2. "Jin Ping Mei Cihua", published by Hong Kong Taiping Bookstore in August 1982, was a photocopy of the 1957 edition, but the 200 illustrations were moved to two before each. By the end of 2000, this version had been printed 16 times. In addition to the 6 volumes of paperbacks, two volumes and one set of hardbacks were also released. At present, there are more pirated versions on the book market, and one set can be purchased for about 150 yuan.
3. "Newly Carved Embroidered Images Criticizing Jin Ping Mei" was photocopyed by Peking University Press in August 1988. It has 4 letters and 36 volumes, 1,000 sets of prints, 2 illustrations per episode, and is distributed internally for liberal arts teachers with associate professors or above, with a price of 700 yuan. Now the price of old books is - 15,000 yuan.
4. "Newly Carved Embroidered Figures Criticizing Jin Ping Mei", published by Qilu Bookstore in June 1989, is a essay by Qiyan and Wang Rumei. This Chongzhen book has 200 illustrations, 8,000 sets of prints, and is priced at 175 yuan. Now the price of old books is - - 3,200 yuan.
...
The set of books that Lin Yi is holding at this moment is the full version of the Qilu Bookstore, which is praised by countless "gold fans" as one of the rare books.
Thinking of this, Lin Yi, the "obsessed man" of the old book, couldn't help swallowing deeply again.
Good book, he exclaimed.
Just then--
"Give me a cup of tea." Old Master Wang Zhen turned around and realized that someone had changed.
Lin Yi came to his senses and hurriedly stuffed the set of "Jin Ping Mei" back, then smiled and brought him the warm water that had been dried on the coffee table.
Mr. Wang nodded at him, smiled, and said nothing.
The old man from Jiangdongjiang also saw Lin Yi, and said angrily, "Where did you go? Xu Tianyou didn't use that at all."
OK, I just treat people like a servant. Lin Yi had to say, there was something wrong and went out for a while.
Jiang Dong said with a stern face and said, "No, you are sent to serve us... It's not that we love this. We are old and sometimes we don't have to do many things, and you need to do it."
"I understand, I will pay attention next time." Lin Yi accepted it humbly. In total, the three old men are over 170 years old. They are usually respected and have a pampered life. They probably have never done any physical work except writing and painting.
In short, the only difference between Xu Dashen, who is also pampered and they are ignorant.
Seeing Lin Yi's humble attitude and so diligent, Mr. Jiang was in a better mood and asked him if he had any cigarettes. He also said that the boy named Xu was stingy and stingy, and he couldn't even let him go with a few cigarettes.
Lin Yi took out the cigarette and handed it over. These calligraphy and paintings were basically big smoke guns. From the posture of holding the cigarette, you can see that they were veterans. Lin Yi helped light it diligently, and the complaint in Jiangdong's heart immediately disappeared.
It is understandable that Lin Yi did this. After all, his responsibility is to take good care of the three of them. Small things like buying medicine and massage are also his duty. If Young Master Xu had not been a substitute in a hard time, this matter would have fallen on him.
Having said that, Boss Xu’s 50,000 yuan is hard to make.
