Chapter 100. Wang Duo's "Langhua Pavilion"

Lin Yi carefully checked the rubbing in his hand, with a folded shape, the sky head was about 12 cm wide and about 25 years long. The cover and back cover were a hard shell with a navy blue, and the cover had a handwritten sticker name - "Langhua Pavilion".

Needless to say, this should be Wang Duo's running script. After all, Wang Duo's most famous one is his running script.

Lin Yi used his fingers to open the inscription and posts very carefully. After opening it, a line of words on the title page immediately came into view, and he saw that the title was "In the 19th year of the Republic of China, it was purchased by Pan Jiayuan."

If we judge based on this line of words, it should be said that it is a rubbing of the Republic of China. Although it is not a rare version like the Qing Dynasty and Ming Dynasty, it should be similar.

However, anyone can write this clause. For Lin Yi's level, he would not take this "Pan Jiayuan bought it in the 19th year of the Republic of China" seriously. If you play with old books, you should always be skeptical.

Jin Baiwan was always observing Lin Yi's face change. For an old expert like him, whether the other party can take the bait depends on how much he liked the inscriptions and calligraphy.

But Lin Yi's calmness disappointed him.

Generally speaking, as long as you like copybooks, inscriptions and other types of calligraphy, there is nothing that can be moved when you see such a "treasure", but Lin Yi was too calm, so calm that Jin Baiwan had no confidence.

Lin Yi still looked at the inscriptions and calligraphy in his hand carefully. Why didn’t he look like the goods in the Republic of China? Although he had never been exposed to inscriptions and calligraphy, Lin Yi also knew that there are three main techniques for identifying inscriptions and calligraphy.

First of all, the "paper" aspect.

For papers in the Song Dynasty, you can see longer hemp fibers by observing them with a magnifying glass. The Song Dynasty rubbing paper is often used, and the width of the curtain patterns does not have a uniform specification. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the hemp fibers are shorter and contain more components of cotton or bamboo plants.

The rubbings that have passed down from generation to generation will turn yellow and become brittle after several years. Nowadays, many edge-mounted papers have turned yellow in the Ming Dynasty rubbings. This paper is extremely crisp and will be damaged if you are not careful. Today, paper is often dyed or smoked to fill the old brushers. The color is different from the old yellow that has been tempered by time, and it is extremely unnatural.

Secondly, "ink color" identification.

Most of the early rubbings have lost the luster of the ink. Generally, the longer it is stored, the worse the brightness of the rubbing ink will be.

The ink color of the Song Dynasty was usually darker, but it took a long time to go on, and the ink color was dull and faded. The Ming Dynasty rubbings were mostly made of pine smoke ink, with dark and thick ink color and less glue content. Some rubbings were made of rubbing methods, which had severe fading; a few dark and shiny colors were made of well-branded.

Finally, "textual research" identification.

Through textual comparison, it is an effective and more accurate method to identify rubbings sooner or later. In addition, white spots are common in rubbings, such spots or white traces are called "stone flowers".

Stone flowers are defects caused by the long-term attack of rain, wind and sand, and weathering; or at a certain time, artificial damage occurs due to the flaws of the engraving and the marks shown after the rubbing. Due to the difference in the time when the stone flowers are produced, the rubbings of different periods will also be different. Therefore, to be precise, these traces of stone flowers, defects, etc. reflected in the rubbings are also a textual document.

Lin Yi does not have the super-secret identification skills of inscriptions and calligraphy. Although he knows these three skills, he still cannot tell the authenticity of the inscriptions and calligraphy of the "Langhua Pavilion". However, Lin Yi believes in his own nose and believes that it will never deceive him.

Because from the beginning of getting the inscription, he didn't smell any of the fragrance of books on his nose. On the contrary, it smelled a kind of dross smelled deliberately made aging.

Needless to say, this inscription is imitated.

See through and not speak out, this is the rule.

So Lin Yi just smiled and said, "This thing is good."

Jin Baiwan thought Lin Yi had taken the bait, so he smiled and said, "Of course it's good. It's an old guy. I don't even let many people watch it."

Lin Yi patted the "Langhua Pavilion" in his hand, "It's good, but the age is a little closer..."

Jin Baiwan immediately retorted: "It's not close anymore. Things from before the Republic of China have been rubbing. If they were taken to other places, they would have sold them long ago."

Is there anyone buying this kind of fake? Maybe, after all, there are too many people in this world who have been shocked.

Lin Yi shrugged and was about to put down the inscription. Seeing this, Jin Baiwan hurriedly said, "It's better to do this. If you offer a price, you will sell it to you if it's right."

Lin Yi looked hesitant, "Ahem, you are from the Republic of China. I'm afraid you can't afford it."

"It's okay, we have known each other. If it's right, just make friends and get in touch with each other more in the future." Jin Baiwan understood how Lin Yi seemed to have seen something, otherwise his expression wouldn't be so weird.

To be honest, this "Langhua Pavilion" was actually bought by Jin Baiwan in Panjiayuan. It cost 5,000 yuan. I thought I had picked up a vacancy, but after I bought it, I found out that it was a very high-end imitation. If I were not an expert, you would not be able to identify it at all.

This time, Jin Baiwan also made a sacrifice and wanted to throw out this fake fake. As for whom he threw it to, it depends on whether the brother Lin in front of him is smart.

Lin Yi found it funny. He knew that this was a fake, but he kept asking himself to bid. Is he really that easy to cheat?

Lin Yi was about to refuse, but suddenly, a strong ink fragrance spread out from the inscriptions and letters in his hand.

Strange, strange.

Lin Yi wiped his nose, but he didn't react at all before. Why did he suddenly have such a big fragrance?

Could it be that this inscription and calligraphy is a treasure?

But it is obviously a imitation.

Lin Yi was a little confused for a moment.

Seeing Lin Yi in a daze, Jin Baiwan urged him quickly: "Don't, brother, just ask for a price. If possible, you will sell this inscription and calligraphy to you. If not, we will take it down. How about it?"

Lin Yi coughed and said, "Let me see it first." As he said that, he casually picked up the inscription and stamped it on his face. He moved his nose a little closer.

At this moment, Lin Yi was just trying it out, but the moment his nose touched the cover of the inscription, Lin Yi was shocked, because a strong ink fragrance rushed straight towards him, turning into a stream of spiritual energy and instantly blending into his body.

It seemed as if he had drunk a cup of nectar and jade liquid. Lin Yi felt comfortable. He narrowed his eyes comfortably, and a strange picture appeared in his mind--

In the dilapidated study, there are four treasures of the study, pen, ink, paper and ink.

In front of the desk, an old man with a thin appearance was coughing and wandering around, but he saw a dragon and a phoenix dancing on the white silk, and a manuscript of poems was completed in one go.

The old man seemed to be worried, his chest and abdomen fluctuated with the cough, his eyes turned red, and a drop of tears fell on the white silk as he stroked his brush.

The country is broken and the mountains and rivers are there, and the spring scenery is deep.

How much help can you ask for when writing these manuscripts by yourself?

In order to survive and for the family, we endure humiliation and live without the literati solar term. What's the use of writing the manuscripts beautifully?

Cough, cough.

On the white silk, the ink color flutters.

A mouthful of blood overflowed from the corner of my mouth. I don’t know if it was caused by the old man’s heart disease or his lip was bitten...

The situation changes---

Lin Yi had only one hand left in his mind, holding the brush's hand, and his thinking followed this hand to copy the cursive script and running script on the white silk.

Dots, horizontal strokes, folds, circles, oblique bends, vertical strokes...

Lin Yi's whole mind was attached to this superb hand, as if following this hand, he had practiced cursive script for decades, flashing through his mind word by word, as playful as a tadpole, as elegant as a dragon, the essence, essence, and spirit were all integrated into Lin Yi's consciousness, and it could not be erased from his bones.

...

It's like having a dream.

The dream of practicing calligraphy.

To outsiders, Lin Yi was sweating on his forehead, breathing rapidly, his expression was a little weird, and his eyes were staring at the inscriptions and calligraphy, unable to move away.

"Hey, brother, what's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable? If you think my offer is too high, just give me a number." Jin Baiwan had to remind Lin Yi.

Lin Yi then woke up, but his heart was overwhelming, especially his hands itchy, and he actually had the urge to hold a brush in his hand and write wildly.

After finally suppressing this impulse, Lin Yi adjusted his mood and said to Jin Baiwan with a smile: "Would you like to bid? Then just 1,000, how about it?"

"No, it's too low. I can lose this price to death." Who is Jin Baiwan? When he saw Lin Yi's eyes and expression at this moment, he knew that this kid was interested in this inscription.

Damn, I was almost fooled by this kid's acting skills just now. I thought he was not interested. It turned out that he was acting. My good deeds are almost broken by this kid.

In Jin Baiwan's opinion, Lin Yi is just a big fish and is about to take the bait.

Several stall owners watching the fun came around and several of them knew the inscriptions and calligraphy of Jin Baiwan. When they saw this scene, they knew that Jin Baowan was "catching turtles". There was no doubt that this silly boy was going to be fooled.

Of course, there are some people around who have suffered losses after being beaten by Jin Baiwan, and are waiting to see how much this fool will be fooled.

Lin Yi seemed to have no idea that he had become the protagonist in the eyes of many people at this moment. He was breathing rapidly and his eyes were still staring at "Langhua Pavilion" and did not let go. If you look closely, you will find that his nose was greedily sucking the ink fragrance floating from the inscriptions, one by one, one by one, and it was extremely greedy.

"Then it's 2,000 yuan." Lin Yi said gasping.

Jin Baiwan felt more at ease. Look, even the price increase was 1,000 yuan, which shows that this kid was eager for this inscription and calligraphy, so he shook his head like a rattle and said, "No, it's too little----It's better to do this. I won't say 20,000 yuan, it's only 8,000 yuan, it seems that you only have that much money."

8,000 yuan, a fake inscription, this gold is really bad.

People who know the details can't help but be amazed.

No wonder people can make money and it is called Jin Million. It turns out that only if you are unfaithful, you can make money.

Seeing Jin Baiwan shaking his big head proudly, Lin Yi finally took his eyes away from the inscription and looked at Jin Baiwan.

Jin Baiwan also looked at him, and the two were having a psychological warfare.

"5,000 yuan, I only paid so much," said Lin Yi.

Jin Baiwan looked at him, "No one can lose 8,000 yuan."

The two were in a stalemate.

Finally, Lin Yi sighed, "Okay, if you win---8000 is 8000!"

Jin Baiwan was extremely proud when he heard this, but he couldn't show it for the time being. He gave Lin Yi a thumbs up and said, "Brother is righteous enough, I'll make up for you as a friend!"

Count the money and deliver the goods.

People around him started to whisper -- "Damn, this kid was caught."

"Yes, I bought fake inscriptions for 8,000 yuan."

"I thought he was so powerful, it turned out to be a sucker."

"Shh, whisper, don't let people hear it."

"What are you afraid of? He is just two balls, so what can I do if I hear it?"

...

Lin Yi did hear these words, but he didn't care much.

On Jin Baiwan's side, a senior named "Eighth Master" is congratulating Jin Baiwan.

Obviously, this Eighth Master is also a veteran in playing inscriptions and calligraphy. He had long known that Jin Baiwan had smashed this fake in his hand. He didn't expect that today he not only did not lose money but also sold an extra 3,000 yuan. Of course, I would like to congratulate him.
