The first thousand three hundred and ninety-four chapters copyright

In the next few days, Hollywood has two indicators that continue to grow.

One thing that continues to grow is the number of female celebrities who publicly accused Harvey of sexual assault.

When the box office of "Zbie-master" exceeded 10 million, the female stars who publicly accused Harvey of real-name also exceeded ten, and a total of 12 actresses stood up to denounce the harm they had suffered.

Almost half of these 12 actresses were because someone anonymously exposed Harvey’s black news online, mentioning that Harvey had once unspoken rules these actresses, so in order to protect themselves, these actresses all jumped out to accuse Harvey of themselves.

This matter seems a bit cold. Harvey has done many fucking things and has ruined many female stars. However, most of them are voluntary or half-supported. However, in order to preserve their reputation, they all put the blame on Harvey. For Harvey, now there is too much debt and no pain in the body, and there are too many lice. But for these actresses, they are unwilling to ruin their future because of Harvey's affairs.

There is also a growing figure, which is the total box office of "zbi-master".

The first day was 18.5 million US dollars, the second day was 33 million US dollars, and the attendance rate was 100%. On the third day, the theaters were impressed by the powerful attraction ability of "Zbie-master", and the screening volume continued to increase by 20%. Coupled with the rumors about Harvey and this movie on the Internet, the popularity of the movie continued to increase, so the attendance rate on the third day remained unchanged, still an astonishing 100%, while the total box office exceeded 41 million.

On the fourth day, theaters continued to squeeze out the number of scenes, giving the movie a higher schedule. The rehearsal rate increased by about 10% on the previous day, but the attendance rate dropped slightly, and the overall number remained at 95%, with a total box office of US$42 million. In four days of release, the box office exceeded the 100 million US dollars mark, reaching US$134 million.

There is also good news that is expected to increase the box office. Coca-Cola and McDonald's have obtained the authorization to use the image of the new version of "Plant vs. Zombies Online" and have begun to prepare for the listing. Soon, the North American market will see Coca-Cola, which has the image of Chinese cartoon zombies, as well as McDonald's packages and toys, which will inevitably increase the box office of the movie to a certain extent!

Lucas estimated that the box office of this movie might exceed the 300 million US dollars mark, which simply subverted his understanding of the entire film industry. What he could not imagine was the desire of the DVD industry for this movie. Now many DVD distribution companies have found him to cooperate, hoping to get the DVD distribution rights in North America from him. According to estimates, if the box office can exceed 300 million US dollars, then the total output value of DVD should also exceed 100 million US dollars in the next year.

Lucas carefully chose the most reliable DVD publisher and signed a 5:2:3 tripartite cooperation agreement. The North American DVD issuance rights are authorized to Lucas by Makino Yingxiang. Makino Yingxiang obtains 50% of all DVD issuance revenue, while Lucas takes 20% of the remaining 50%, and the DVD publisher takes 30%.

It seems that Lucas suffered a little loss, but in fact he is the most profitable one. As the copyright holder, Li Mu also paid the copyright cost when he received the copyright. The DVD publisher not only has to bear the three aspects of production, promotion and sales of DVD distribution, but also has to bear the loss risk of production costs. Lucas doesn't have to pay. Just sit down and sign the three-party agreement and get a 20% net profit.

The North American market has $300 million in box office space and $100 million in DVD distribution space. This data has made Hollywood unable to complain. Seeing that an old Hong Kong movie in 1985 has made so much money, many Hollywood publishers have begun to focus on Hong Kong.

The success of "Zbie-master" made Hollywood realize that in fact, there is no obvious peak or low period in North America's film market. It seems that Christmas and summer seasons are the box office peaks, but this does not mean how bad the box office markets are in March, April, May, September, October and November. The key is to have movies that can mobilize audiences to pay.

In order to ensure income, Hollywood blockbusters basically focus on Christmas and summer seasons, which has caused an embarrassing situation where big productions are released in other periods. Although Hollywood is reluctant to move big productions to these periods of time to release, this period can introduce some high-quality overseas movies at a low cost and then use them to tap the box office potential of non-popular periods.

After all, theaters are not popsicle stalls. The latter is full of streets in summer and disappears without a trace after summer. However, whether it is peak or low, every theater, every theater and every seat are placed there. Even if the trough is vacant, it cannot be demolished or used for other purposes.

"Zbie-master" takes such a coincidence. Anyway, there are no videos that compete for now, and there are not many people competing for theater resources, so it gives "Zbie-master" a hardware foundation for the box office explosion.

Hollywood also gave a practical lesson full of practical information from this matter. Since this is the case, I might as well operate some ready-made movie copyrights overseas during this period, just like Lucas introduced "zbie-master" and then cooperated with Makino Technology to promote it.

The Hong Kong film industry was cursing Li Mu's low-price sweeping routine a few days ago. He took away all the copyrights of zombie films in Hong Kong to make a lot of money, but in the end he gave the Hong Kong film and television company, he didn't even earn a percentage of the money he earned. In terms of this proportion alone, Li Mu was really the most treacherous businessman in the world in their eyes.

But as the box office of "zbie-master" became higher and higher in North America, it achieved great success in just a few days, and the Hong Kong film industry also ushered in a new spring.

Hollywood publishers and film and television companies have found various Hong Kong film and television companies and actively sought cooperation, hoping to reach copyright cooperation with them. The cooperation model is that they will select suitable Hong Kong movies, and then talk to the copyright owner about the buyout price of the North American screening rights, sign a buyout agreement, and then the Hollywood publisher will get the movie to be released in North America.

Originally, Hollywood might not be able to buy a few copyrights from Hong Kong in a year, but now, there are more than fifty Hong Kong movies that Hollywood is interested in. Many of these Hong Kong film companies have reached cooperation agreements with Hollywood film and television companies. Because of the success of "Zbie-Master", the copyright price of Hong Kong movies has increased by several times compared to the past.

The more representative of this is "Infernal Affairs" released in Hong Kong last year. This movie was originally called the rescue work of Hong Kong movies, and its quality is very high. It is only a rare and high-quality work in recent years. However, such a movie seems to have no chance to be released in North America before Huanya. However, this time, several Hollywood film companies rushed over to compete for the copyright of "Infernal Affairs" and the price once priced at US$8 million. You should know that the total box office of "Infernal Affairs" in Hong Kong is only 55 million Hong Kong dollars, which is around US$7 million.

Huanya had a bad fool before, and sold all the copyrights of a bunch of zombie films, including "Mr. Zombies" to Li Mu for a price of only about 100,000 US dollars. As a result, after Li Mu took them away, the TV broadcast rights alone were sold for hundreds of millions. The box office in North America now has exceeded one billion in Hong Kong dollars. In comparison, Huanya really lost to her grandma's house.

So this time Hollywood wanted to buy the copyright of "Infernal Affairs". When the price was $8 million, Huanya hesitated.

In Huanya's eyes, "Infernal Affairs" is much stronger in terms of production cost, production scale and star lineup than "Mr. Zombies", and the quality and depth of the movie are incomparable. If "Mr. Zombies" can buy hundreds of millions of box offices in North America, a phenomenal work like "Infernal Affairs" is less than $100 million, right? If the box office is calculated based on $100 million, it will be a 25% share, and it will also be 25 million US dollars, which is much better than selling $8 million in one hand.

So Huanya quoted Hollywood, and the North American distribution rights of Infernal Affairs were 30% of the box office, with a guaranteed income of 10 million US dollars.

In other words, whoever wants to get the North American distribution rights of "Infernal Affairs" must first give Huanya a guarantee of 10 million US dollars, and then use this movie to be released in North America. If the box office revenue after the release reaches 33.33 million US dollars, at a 30% share ratio, it just matches the guaranteed amount of 10 million US dollars required by Huanya. If the total box office does not reach 33.33 million US dollars, Huanya will not refund 1 cent, and the loss will be borne by the publisher.

If the total box office exceeds US$33.33 million, the issuer will also share the additional revenue to replenish Huanya. For example, if the box office eventually reaches US$100 million, at a ratio of 30%, Huanya will share US$30 million. In addition to the guaranteed $10 million that has been paid, the issuer will also pay another US$20 million to Huanya.

The reason why Huanya has set up such cooperation conditions is entirely based on the successful precedent of "Mr. Zombies", but Hollywood people are not stupid at all. They know why "Zbie-master" has been a great success. The most important reason is that it is supported by the popular game "Plant vs. Zombie Online". Coupled with the strong promotion capabilities of Muye Technology, the Muying ticketing system spared no effort, Li Mu's huge concessions to theaters, and various promotional activities made by Li Mu through Muying ticketing system.

Li Mu has so many resources as a factor of success to promote "zbie-master". In contrast, does "Infernal Affairs" have these resources?

The answer is of course no.

Therefore, a one-time deal of $8 million is the highest price Hollywood can offer Huanya. No Hollywood company is willing to share the minimum share of Huanya, which makes Huanya feel particularly uncomfortable, but she still insists on her own offer.

Huanya's ambition made Hollywood publishers retreat. They were fighting for the North American distribution rights of the movie the next second, and announced their withdrawal from the competition, and then targeted other Hong Kong movies.

Huanya thought this was a joint price reduction method by several Hollywood companies. At first, she was particularly tough, but when they saw that all of them left, there was no news, so she began to worry. Then she turned around and went to these companies and expressed that she was willing to make certain concessions in the original guaranteed amount and share ratio. She used to share a guaranteed $10 million in 30%, but now she was share a guaranteed $8 million in 25%.

Several Hollywood companies still don't accept it.

The negotiator of one of the companies said to the negotiator of Huanya: "If you can bring Muye Technology in to work together, we are willing to give you a guarantee of 20 million yuan. But if Li Mu did not have Li Mu, we carefully considered it. The previous $8 million buyout quotation was a bit irrational. The highest buyout quotation we can give should be about $5 million."
