Volume 3 The Four Hundred and Sixty-fifth Chapters of the Thousand Years of Miracles, War, Get Ready

The main representatives of the Kuomintang's grandson faction lived in Changchun for several days, and then signed a secret agreement between the north and the south with the local governments of the five northeastern provinces. The main content of the secret agreement was:

The Northeast government will propose a federal establishment at a suitable time and recommend Sun Yat-sen as the first president of the federal Chinese.

2. Recognize the legitimacy of the Kuomintang and do not arbitrarily drive away and arrest the Kuomintang members or restrict them.

3. Kuomintang members are not allowed to declare their ideas of opposing Wang Maoru's rule in the Northeast, nor are they allowed to criticize Wang Maoru and the government they lead at will.

4. The Kuomintang is allowed to recruit party members within the jurisdiction of the five northeastern provinces, but it must comply with local local laws, regulations and policies.

5. The Kuomintang recommended Wang Maoru as commander of the Northern Military Region of the federal government.

6. Both sides expressed their support and recognition of the other party's legal status and shall not engage in force confrontation.

Sun Yat-sen and his group gained a lot in the Northeast. It can be said that he got what he wanted and exceeded what he wanted, which was the support of a powerful warlord. Wang Maoru was not stupid enough to hand over the government to them. He suggested that Sun Yat-sen preserve his strength and wait for a good opportunity.

Then a large number of Kuomintang members went north to enter the Northeast, but encountered a problem, that is, the Northeast system is complete at this stage, and these people must adapt to local rules to do things. For example, if they want to enter the military, they must completely withdraw from the party. Everyone knows that although the Northeast Frontier Defense Forces claim to have no party, the army is only loyal to Wang Maoru, and the party is loyal to the party, which makes it difficult for many Democratic Party members who want to enter the Northeast Army. Wang Maoru's army can only be loyal to him alone. The task of so many propaganda personnel in the army is to promote the army's loyalty to Wang Maoru. They are always using various methods.

Infection of soldiers and officers for loyal education. The secret spies from the Intelligence Department also strictly prevented the remarks and personnel of the anti-leaders in the army, so it is very difficult for the Kuomintang members to enter the army and achieve more. Some Kuomintang members have retreated one after another, or changed their careers and did civil movements and no longer participated in the military. However, this has another problem. Since Wang Maoru's speech two years ago, new government personnel must have experience in joining the Northeast Army, even if they only serve as border patrol soldiers for a short period of one and a half years of military service. People from the Ministries must first apply to serve as border patrols. Only after retirement can they enter the political arena, and these basic knowledge requirements.

The rule of the five northeastern provinces was protected in some areas, and the Kuomintang encountered many discomforts when they came to the Northeast. First of all, there were party problems. There were too many parties here. Wang Maoru couldn't help but party in the Northeast, which led to a large number of parties in the Northeast. These parties divided the population and resources. Although the Kuomintang was famous, they took the elite route, and the students were not allowed to contact the party. Once a student came into contact with the party, they were expelled immediately. A student participated in the strike when Wang Maoru took Princess Tajiyanna away from Hong Kong, but was indeed expelled. And no school dared to accept these expelled students, and no local government accepted them, so they had to leave the Northeast and study everywhere. Their quota for school stay was given to other students who were not good at studying, and everyone was glad that these people left.

The Democratic Party came happily, but after this year, he left miserably because he really couldn't get real power. The Democratic Party members were unable to enter the army and could not serve as officials, while the five northeastern provinces implemented strict speech control. This also led to a significant reduction in the confidence of the Kuomintang.

At this time, Wang Maoru officially began to mobilize his army and prepared to interfere with Russia. First, in order to ensure contact, the General Logistics Department spent a lot of money to purchase 30 high-power telegraph stations from the United States. This telegraph machine can transmit signals up to 3,000 kilometers away, and each sold at a price of up to 35,000 oceans. Wang Maoru sent them one by one, mainly equipped with the Russian interference army, and continued to order twenty units to strengthen the communication capabilities of the entire army.

On February 22, 1919, the Second Division of the Participating Army was officially incorporated into the 15th Division of the Northeast Frontier Defense Force. The entire division was reorganized, the uniforms and the ordnances were replaced. Du Baosan officially served as the commander of the division, Chen Xiangwu served as the chief of staff of the division. After a brief rest, the 15th Division immediately headed north to enter Manzhouli. Then, the First Division, the Sixth Division, the Seventh Division, the Tenth Division, and the 11th Cavalry Division were dispatched to Manzhouli, while the Fourth Division and the Ninth Division gathered in Aihui County, Heilongjiang Province.

The General Staff of the Northeast Frontier Defense Forces ordered the remaining troops to be the Second Division (station in Jinzhou to prevent the Anhui Beiyang Army), the Fifth Division (station in Liaodong to prevent Japan), the Eighth Division (station in Shenyang to form a second line of defense against Japan and Anhui), the Thirteenth Division (station in Changchun to ensure the Northeast core), the 14th Division (station in Harbin, the Northeast Heavy Industry Core, and five newly formed reserve army divisions in Harbin), and the Twelfth Division (station in Mongolia, and is also responsible for assisting in the defense. The Russian guerrillas guarded the Russian guerrillas, and guided them to Russia to interfere with the logistics of the army. At the same time, there were also ten armed police brigades in five provinces. The remaining troops were commanded and coordinated by Chief of Staff Jiang Fangzhen and Deputy Chief of Staff Zhang Xiaozhun. They also ordered Zhang Xiaozhun to prepare for the expansion of five army divisions of 120,000, which was completed two years later (early in 1922). The numbers of these five army divisions were the 16th to 20th Army divisions of the Border Defense Army, and the stationed in Harbin.

Wang Maoru personally led the First Division, the Sixth Division, the Seventh Division, the Tenth Division, the 11th Cavalry Division, the 15th Division and the Third Division who arrived in Manzhouli from Mongolia formed the First Army of the Chinese Interfering Army, with a total of 170,000 people. From Manzhouli, he headed north to enter Russia and arrived at the Kazan front line. The Fourth Division, the Ninth Division, and the Jiang Defense Force formed the Second Army, commanded by Li Delin, deputy commander-in-chief of the Northeast Frontier Defense Force, and a total of 50,000 people entered Hailanpao and the Sixty-fourth Gate in Jiangdong from Aihui County (now Blagoveshchensk in Russia), and then entered the Russian and Japanese Interfering Army to form a north-south direction to wipe out the Soviet guerrillas.

At the same time, the Logistics Command of the Intervention Army was also established, with Jiang Fangzhen as the commander-in-chief of the rear supply, and the Logistics Minister Mi Shaobai as the logistics commander of the rear, Xu Youqian as the logistics commander of the First Army in the Front, Niu Delu as the logistics commander of the Second Army, Zhao Jiacheng as the financial management commander of the Chinese Intervention Army, and Zhang Kui'an as the official liaison officer of the Chinese Intervention Army.

Since the eight army divisions under Wang Maoru's troops were preparing to send troops to Russia, Duan Qirui, who was far away in Beijing, had some difficulties. They originally thought that Wang Maoru could only delay and fight for benefits. Now, not only Duan Qirui saw whether Wang Maoru could send troops, but people across the country looked at him, and people in Asia were watching whether the Northeast Frontier Defense Force, an extremely special local government, could send troops, but Wang Maoru really dared to send troops. This game would force Xu Shuzheng to send troops immediately into Vladivostok. However, Wang Maoru's previous lessons of annexation of the Second Division were vivid in his mind. Xu Shuzheng could not guarantee that his army would be annexed again, so Xu Shuzheng hesitated. At the same time, due to the Soviet Union's dispatch of a large number of personnel to provoke, in addition to the strict control of the five northeastern provinces, a national strike was launched across the country, opposing interference in Russia's internal affairs and opposing participation in the Russian civil war.

On one hand, there is interests and on the other hand, Duan Qirui was also threatened by the Japanese, asking him to firmly support the intervention army. As a last resort, Xu Shuzheng decided to rename the Third Army of the Interference Army, which consisted of the First Division, the Third Division and the Ninth Division of the Beiyang Army, with a total of 40,000 people. Starting from Tianjin, we took the Beijing-Shenzhen Railway (formerly the Beijing-Feng Railway) to arrive in Chenyang, and then took the railway through Changchun, Harbin, and Suifenhe and then crossed the Ussuri River to march towards Vladivostok.

Of course, there must be a commander in the three fronts and three army groups, but the interfering army must have a commander-in-chief. This commander-in-chief is undoubtedly the respected Duan Qirui.

Unfortunately, Duan Qirui was only the nominal commander-in-chief. At most, he could command the Third Army, and even Jiang Fangzhen, his former aide. The biggest function of this commander-in-chief was to subdivide the military expenditure of the war army composed of the Boxer indemnity to the three armies. Under Japan's strong request, Xu Shuzheng's Third Army started from Tianjin on the Beijing-Shenzhen Railway, and entered Russian territory first and arrived in Vladivostok, announcing the full beginning of China's intervention in the Russian civil war.

The Third Army was just a preview. This time, the main force of the war against Russia was Wang Maoru's army. For example, Xu Shuzheng's Third Army ran to Vladivostok and came to Vladivostok. Vladivostok was managed by Japan, the United States and Russia. It was necessary to make up for the fun of the Chinese team. Besides, there were no Soviet guerrillas here. The Japanese side was very cold to Xu Shuzheng's arrival. Then the commander of the Japanese Interference Army, Kikuzo Otani, ordered the Third Army of the Chinese Interference Army to go north to enter the vast Russian forest to wipe out the Soviet guerrillas. Although Xu Shuzheng showed his power in the country, he could only obey his orders when facing his teacher, the Japanese.

In order to express their support for Tsarist Russia, the Americans followed the American habit of doing things - they used guns, cannons and others to die. The US government transported a large number of British weapons in China, including Li Enfield rifles and bullets, 13-pound rapid-fire field guns (76.2 caliber), and 15-pound mk1 rapid-fire field guns (76.2 caliber) to China to support China's intervention army. Of course, the most important thing is that Wang Maoru proposed to the Americans to purchase 122 mm howitzer. Artillery shells, which are what Wang Maoru urgently needs. This is also the only heavy artillery with the Northeast Frontier Army, and it was brought from Italy. If you buy it directly from the Americans, it would be more than ten times more expensive. After the end of the European War, major arms companies all had overcapacity, so they also adopted a low-price treatment for the export of 122mm howitzer shells to prevent factories from shutting down work, and even directly delivered the shells that are now in use in the army to the Northeast Frontier Army.

Japan, which has always adopted arms restrictions on the Chinese team, had to keep silent because China participated in the Russian interference army. The Kwantung Army was particularly angry that Japan had lent more than 100 million yen to the Chinese government, giving the Chinese government sufficient financial resources to purchase heavy artillery. Without Japan's opposition, the American shells quickly arrived in Harbin and arrived in Manzhouli through Harbin. At the same time, the old 100 122mm howitzers in the US were also sent to the US military. The price was sold to the Northeast Frontier Defense Force. Wang Maoru took into account the security of the Northeast Frontier Defense Force's hometown and left these hundred cannons in China and did not intend to bring them to Russia. What made the Japanese feel uncomfortable was that these hundred cannons were worthy of heavy artillery, and there were forty in the Fifth Division of the Northeast Frontier Defense Force stationed in Liaodong. The second division stationed in Jinzhou only received twenty heavy artillery. It is obvious that the Chinese were far more careful about the Japanese than other warlords...)
