Chapter 134: The Secret Talk of the National Movement

The cold wind is cold and the season is approaching the severe winter. The dark clouds of war accumulated in the East are also rolling and surging day by day, becoming more and more ferocious.

Just as the victory or defeat of the Middle East War Zone was decided and the red iron flowed south, according to the unified deployment of the Supreme Soviet Command, the war preparations in the Far East were in full swing.

As a large number of armed forces advanced eastward, heavy-duty trains of transportation troops and supplies began to shuttle through the snow-covered Siberian land; in the sky, transport planes with roaring engines were carrying airborne troops and important materials, flying eastward in the cold sky; in response to these transportation dispatches, the Red Air Force and the National Air Defense Force were also actively adjusting their deployments. In addition to some troops transferred to Western Europe, essentially for feints, many front-line combat troops that made great contributions in the Caucasus Battle, swarms of fighter jets were turning eastward, and along field airports in southern Siberia, the air force bases were "jumping" like starry nights.

The troops were mobilizing eastward continuously, and the armed forces originally stationed in the Far East region had also entered a state of high alert.

Since the outbreak of the World War, it has been in a tense confrontation with its opponents across the sea. The surface-to-air missile forces deployed in important cities in the Far East, ports and military assembly areas have maintained a 24-hour alert under the unified dispatch of the automated air defense command network; the Su-15tm and Mig-31 fighters of the National Land Defense Air Force frequently appear on the white mountains and black waters. The two heavy-load aircraft cruisers of the Red Navy Pacific Fleet have left their home ports, and submarines have also sailed away from the docks and disappeared.

In the Far East where the Red Army was preparing for war and swords and guns, working together with the Americans who dispatched troops, the archipelago across the ocean was also a busy scene.

Seeing that the clouds of war are getting closer and closer, since the war, the people of the island countries who are worried or ready to move have smelled the terrifying atmosphere of war. Some people are worried and urge government agencies to strengthen preparations for war, hugging the Americans' thighs tightly, making the Japanese country beside the bed turn bad luck; while others are as excited as the saw-fat carp smelling blood, as if the opportunity for war is right in front of them. The great Japanese Empire, which has been dormant for many years, can sing the "March of Warships" and show its greedy fangs to the vast land in the Far East!

However, no matter how passionate you look forward to it, it is just a kind of insane fantasy.

In recent times, with the surging force of the Red Empire, the Far East, with the crisis-ridden war, is about to break out; from the Korean Peninsula where the two armies confront each other to the vast northern waters, hundreds of thousands of US troops stationed abroad have already entered a first-level alert state, preparing to fight against the Russians with the military forces of the garrison when the war breaks out, and strive to delay the Ivans' offensive as much as possible before the reinforcements arrive.

However, since you have to fight the terrifying polar bear with all your might, instead of directly consuming the precious power of the United States, it is a wiser choice to use the minion country as cannon fodder.

The tense western Pacific coast is very different from Europe, which is thousands of miles away. The armed forces on the vast continent cannot directly deter enemies on the archipelago. Japan, which has just joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, has also become an American aircraft carrier.

During the Cold War in the past few decades, the Americans who worked hard to rely on South Korea, Japan and the Philippines and other servants to build a whole chain of strategic containment in the East, focusing on guarding the Soviet Pacific Fleet in the North; the confrontation between Subic and Cam Ranh Bay once attracted the attention of countless military observers, but once the war really broke out in full swing, after the violent and fierce war on the European continent and the tug-of-war with the Caucasus land, the generals of the free world found that all this was very limited. What they should do now seemed to be fighting the Russians to the death in the Far East, otherwise no matter what kind of encirclement strategy was adopted, they would not be able to gain any advantage on the geopolitical level.

The current situation changes day by day, and crises are gathering little by little. In such a cold and severe winter, the capital of the United States on the other side of the vast Pacific Ocean, the Capitol Hill, covered with night, is still brightly lit. In a small conference room decorated with luxuriously decorated, participants in suits and ties sit around the table, and through informal meetings, they determine the fate of the entire Western world.

Tonight, what I got in this conference room was probably about the current war situation. Specifically, what should I choose to make the war on the other side of the ocean?

And countless lives deeply trapped in war, how can they squander it this time?

"Gentlemen, who else has any questions about the recent situation?"

In the warm spring conference room, in this meeting not only participated by government personnel or military-led, the elderly man sitting on the long oval table, Donald Rumsfield from the Ministry of Defense, held thin gold-rimmed glasses in one hand, and his plump forehead was slightly bright under the light. Facing the table of attendants, he had just asked his deputy to introduce the crisis of the war, and the next time was when everyone was decent and everyone expressed their opinions and discussed freely, the luck of the United States for the next period of time would probably be determined.

The words of the Minister of National Defense triggered a deep discussion at the scene. After these rustling sounds gradually returned to silence, someone coughed slightly:

“The situation is very clear, I personally have no doubts.

Here, I would like to ask a question on behalf of everyone here, how credible is this statement of intelligence agencies that the Russians are about to launch an attack in the Far East?"

“Totally believable, Mr. Morgan;”

In such a private occasion, there is no need to call this thin middle-aged man with a pseudonym, Rumsfeld waved his hand at the air in front of him, "Or, if the Russians were crazy enough, maybe they would attack Japan and Britain at the same time, but this possibility is very small after all."

"Thank you very much for your introduction, Mr. Minister."

Compared with Linnaid Morgan, who is serious and scheming, John Mellon, who is wearing a gray suit and a blue tie, seems to be a little smooth. He raised his hand to look at the crystal-shining Rolex on his wrist, and quickly flipped the documents at hand, and continued to speak in a slightly hoarse and tempting voice:

"So, let's talk openly. Can our troops withstand the Russian offensive?

If your answer is 'yes', please tell us when the war will end; if not, then please, perhaps with the President's staff, please answer you, what purpose should the Russians achieve before they can withdraw from this damn war with dignity?"

"Yes, Mellon's words make sense!"

As soon as the husky words were finished, the big guy on the other side of the table continued the words in a rough voice. It was Hubert Humphrey who was about to suck a cigar in the conference room, which made the room full of a choking havana:

"When I say that, I really want to ask, are the people recruited by the CIA all a bunch of people? How did the battle start? What conspiracy is there? Anyway, I absolutely don't believe it. Those hateful red brains will come to fight a world war with nothing to do!

Our rights and interests are greatly damaged every day. Why can no one stand up and say "

"Mr. Humphrey, I kindly point out that the CIA's investigation scope does not include 'certain areas', and of course, it does not include everyone here, so... Well, I think I will say that."

Facing the strong man who spoke a bit vulgar, Donald Rumsfeld's mouth tilted slightly, and his gray-blue eyes turned a few times in his eye sockets. His inner thoughts were obviously that he thought there was no need to say good things for Cia in such an occasion.

As the Minister of Defense of the United States, an important figure around His Excellency the President is now as timid as a dedicated manager. He is very strange in his face to speak out and report all the work of the government agencies. However, compared with the votes, the elderly Minister of Defense is of course very clear that those light blue broken papers cannot actually decide anything. Only these well-dressed guys in front of him truly have the power to make decisions and truly represent the power behind the control of these politicians.

But even so, Rumsfield was still a little angry when sitting at the table facing these arrogant consortium representatives.

Even if he is a beneficiary of this system, sometimes he can't help but think about what is the difference between a technocrat who receives salary from the government's pocket and a ignorant guy who likes to talk big.

Working for the ruling class and engaging in huge wealth, is this the natural gap between the two types of people?

"Well, Mr. Minister, it would be better if you don't discuss the intelligence system issues today."

After a brief recession, I looked at Hubert Humphrey, the main controlling shareholder and conference representative of the Boston Consortium, and the new generation of the Morgan Consortium's family. Linnard Morgan seemed quite well-educated. He raised his hand and pulled the silk tie buckle, and his tone was still as calm as ever:

"All in all, it's not really interesting to us about the current situation, and you must be very clear about this, Mr. Rumsfield.

Oh, because of this, if your question is ‘Far East, or Western Europe’? Then my personal opinion is clear, how to force the Russians to return to the negotiating table, end this meaningless conflict as soon as possible, and bring the free world back to the track it should be, you can lobby as it is, assist the President, as for some specific details,"

Speaking of this, I lit a slender cigarette leisurely, and the cold expression in Linnaid Morgan's eyes became even heavier:
