Two written in the past(1/2)

"The Dead City"

Prologue The end of the world is approaching

In 1915, it was a year since the official outbreak of World War I. The allies led by Germany, Austro-Hungarian Empire and Italy, and the Allies led by Russia, France and Britain all consumed huge manpower and material resources in the year of fierce battles. It was very difficult to reserve troops and logistics supplies. All countries also began to mobilize the whole nation and the economy, preparing for a larger-scale war.

During this year, Germany changed its strategic policy. While stabilizing the situation on the Western Front, it concentrated its superior forces to attack Russia, attempting to defeat Russia in the shortest time, and then deal with Britain and France. The focus of the war between the two sides had reached the Eastern Front, and Britain and France and other countries on the Western Front entered the strategic defense stage.

On August 28, the Kerry Bori region of Türkiye.

This is a rare good weather. The sky is as pure as a claret jade, and it is as blue as crystal clear jade. In this jade-like sky, there are only two faint and thin cloud marks, like the road between heaven and earth, and like a pair of helpless arms of human beings praying to the sky.

On a undulating hill, a group of people were singing loudly. They were all soldiers from New Zealand who cooperated with the British army and were also local indigenous Maori. Since the British Captain James Cook came to New Zealand five times in 1769 and measured and drawn maps, Britain announced the occupation of New Zealand, forcing the Maori chief to sign the Treaty of Wittanzhe, and placed the land into the territory of the British Empire and became a colony of the Commonwealth. However, their number was small and they were also regarded as barbaric indigenous people by the British. Obtaining it in war was often the most difficult and dangerous task.

But now all the 22 Maori soldiers of their group were organized into a small team, guarding the front position as a checkpoint, which was the most susceptible position to be attacked by the enemy, and the damn British continued to climb upwards. They were a regiment with a total of 800 people, and the commander of the regiment was Lieutenant Colonel Bogen, an arrogant guy from a noble family, and all Maori soldiers didn't like him.

The enemy was still far away, and Maori soldiers were out of their positions at this time, lying on the soft grass as soft as a carpet to bask in the sun, humming the songs of their hometown. Everyone knew that the war would last for a long time, and no one dared to boast whether they could go back. Singing loudly could alleviate the fear of death in their hearts.

Seeing that 800 British soldiers gradually reached the top of the mountain, someone screamed: "My God, look, look."

All the soldiers sat up and looked at the top of the mountain. They saw that at some point, a huge grey mist appeared on the top of the mountain for some reason, and it was spreading at an astonishing speed, wrapping the entire regiment of soldiers inside.

All the Maori soldiers watched this scene last for dozens of minutes, and then they saw part of the gray fog dissipating everywhere, while most of them began to slowly condense into a huge fog ball, rising into the air, drifting away quickly.

At this time, the gray fog on the top of the mountain had completely dispersed, and the entire top of the mountain was as quiet as a silence. All the trees and grass remained the same, but there was no one, and there was no one. The entire 800 soldiers disappeared in these dozens of minutes, all of them disappeared.

Every Maori soldier was rubbing his eyes desperately. They could not believe or believe everything in front of them, but when they saw each other's eyes, they realized that something terrifying and incredible happened.

Half an hour later, under the leadership of the team leader Antumu, the Maori soldier trembled with his gun and climbed to the top of the mountain with fear with his weak feet.

There is no one, and there is indeed no one. Countless birds jump in the forest and occasionally a few hares travel through the grass. But except for the 22 fearful Maori soldiers, there is no other information about humans, these 800 troops suddenly evaporated from the world.

A day later, British Prime Minister Laure George received this incredible news. He did not believe it and ordered people to severely interrogate the 22 Maori soldiers present, but they all unanimously described everything they witnessed.

This incident has become the biggest unsolved case in the UK so far. In the past century, military experts and scientists and writers from various countries have had various controversies and speculations, but no one knows the real answer.

No one will ever know!

Never!

************************************************************************

In the 21st century, somewhere in China.

A twelve or thirteen-year-old girl with white skin and beautiful skin pushed open a room.

The house is very big, with bookcases all over the walls, and it is full of various books. The books seem to be very old, even bamboo slips.

At one end of the room, there was an old man in his sixties, weak and wearing glasses, looking at a book under a desk lamp. He looked quietly and focusedly, but his eyes were filled with unspeakable anxiety. On one side of the book, there was a thick notebook. The page I opened was full of words, and the last few rows of ink were not dry. I thought it had just been written.

The little girl looked at the book and said, "Grandpa, you are reading the Great Prophecy of Nostradamus again."

The old man was obviously already immersed in his mind. He didn't expect someone to talk beside him. He was shocked, his hand shook, and the pen had fallen on his notebook.

The old man quickly regained his expression, touched the little girl's head and said, "Ting'er, you are here, is there anything wrong?"

The little girl said, "Grandma said it's late, so I'll tell you to go to bed."

The old man suddenly sighed sadly and murmured: "Sleep, sleep, maybe everyone will have to sleep soon."

The little girl turned her head and said, "Grandpa, why can't everyone sleep soon? What are you doing during the day? Can't you dance and sing? Today, grandma also taught me a new song. Grandpa, you are tired, I'll sing for you, okay?"

The old man smiled bitterly and shook his head, looking at the little girl's black and white distinction, and her big, lively and clear eyes appeared for a while, and then said, "Ting'er, have you seen all the "Norchadamas Prophecy"?"

The little girl nodded and said, "Grandpa, you asked me to see it last time. I've seen it all, but I don't understand it very much. Grandpa, who is this Nostradamus?"

The old man said: "He was a great prophet in France more than 300 years ago. He knew Latin, Greek, Hebrew, mathematics, and astrology called astronomy, etc. He learned everything and understood everything. He was also an archaeologist and scientist. Because of his support for the theory of celestialism of the earth rotating around the sun, he was referred to as an alien by people at that time. This "Norsardamus Great Prophecy" was written in a dark room in his later years. No one knew why he wrote it like this and why he could write it. This is a mystery."

The little girl said, "Grandpa, is this book really accurate?"

The old man nodded with certainty and sighed again: "I hope it is not accurate, but..."

Speaking of this, he opened one of the pages casually, handed them to the little girl's hand, and said, "Ting'er, read it out."

The little girl held the book in her hand, and read it seriously in a sweet voice like a nightingale.

"Young lions will beat the old ones"

“A one-on-one game in the garden is in progress”

"He stabbed the eyes in the golden protective gear"

"Two injuries combined into one place"

"He died in a craziest moment"

The old man said: "This is a poem that Nostradamus said when King Henry II of France asked Nostradamus to predict his future. No one understood it at that time. Later, Henry II competed with a young nobleman for gun technique. The tip of the gun penetrated the golden helmet and stabbed it into his eyes. Henry II died in pain. Henry II loved to wear the lion badge most during his lifetime."

The little girl stuck out her tongue, couldn't help but turn one of the pages again, and continued to recite.

"A few years later, not far from Venus"

"Two strongest people in Asia and Asia"

"From Rhine and Hist, it will be said to have arrived"

“There are shouting and tears on the coast of Malta and Liguria”

"The wild beasts that are crazy about hunger will swim across the river"

"Most troops will fight against Hist."

"The great one will be pulled into an iron cage"

"When the Germanic son will observe nothing"

The old man said: "The meaning of this poem is to refer to the rise of Hitler and Mussolini during World War II, including Japan. Alas, Hister, Hitler, and even the names are predicted to be a little short."

The little girl stuck out her tongue and said, "Grandpa, this Nostradamus is really amazing, but there are a few lines of poetry in the end. Tell me, I always can't understand it, but I look so scared."

As she said, she turned the book behind and continued to read it.

"The earthquake occurred in May"

"Saturn causes goats, Mercury, Jupiter gathers bulls"

"Venus is the Cancer, Mars is the Virgin"

"Goose feathers are flying all over the sky with heavy snow"

"The world is getting colder and colder"

"The flood is no exception"

"The terrible Sunday is here"

“There is no sunny again”

"This unforgettable day, the cold spreads in four places"

Seeing that the old man hadn't spoken for a long time, the little girl said again: "Grandpa, what are you talking about in these last few lines of poetry?"

She continued to recite.

"To resurrect King Angolumoa"

"The terrifying king will fall from the sky"

"Mars will rule the world before and after that"

"It is said to let people have a happy life"

"When the Great Seven Numbers of Reincarnation is over"

"Mutual killing happened"

“It happened shortly after this millennium began”

"At that time, the dead people underground will break out of the tomb."

The little girl said, "Grandpa, tell me, what are the Angolua and the Horror King referring to, and what is the Big Seventh?"

The old man had a heavy face and slowly shook his head and said, "I don't know, I really want to know."

At this moment, the little girl laughed in a vain.

The old man said wonderingly: "Ting'er, why are you laughing at?"

The little girl said, "This "Northandamas Prophecy" must be a lie. I don't believe that people from hundreds of years ago can calculate what happened in the future. Grandpa, the book says that the terrifying king will fall from the sky. It should be July 1999. But now time has passed, and there is no terrifying king at all. What's the point if it is not a lie? Grandpa, you have also said that you must not believe these books, and you must not believe them all."

The old man was silent for a long time, and slowly smiled. He patted the little girl's delicate hands and said, "Yes, this may be a lie. Okay, you go to bed first, grandpa will go out soon."

The little girl nodded obediently, then walked out lightly, and gently brought the door.

At this moment, the old man's smile freezes, he stood up, walked to the right wall, took out a thick dictionary and placed it on the desk, but when he opened the dictionary, it was hollowed out, and there was a volume of white things.

The old man took out the thing and placed it on the desk. It was an old scroll, which was more than twice as thick as ordinary sheepskin. This is Dongba snow sheepskin, which is tough and flexible, and the leather is not easy to wear and tear. It is very precious. This Dongba snow sheep used to live on some cold mountains, but it had become extinct more than a thousand years ago.

There were dense red and strange words written on the sheepskin. At this time, a strong fishy smell spread in the room. The red words looked like they were written in blood. Each one was full of mystery and weirdness, as if they were smiling silently.

At this time, the old man stared at the last row of bloody strange words, and his body suddenly trembled like fallen leaves in the autumn wind, trembling violently, with only fear and panic in his eyes.

The corners of his mouth twitched slightly, and he murmured: "If that day comes, if that day comes, Ting'er, how can I save you, how can I save you? God, I hope all this is fake, fake..."

(Note: The Great Prophecy of Nostradamus is known as the most accurate prophecy of mankind. At least thousands of experts around the world are studying this prophecy. Before 2000, many suicides occurred in Japan due to fear of the end of the world. This prophecy's prediction of the time of the event has never deviated by more than thirteen years.)
