Chapter 139 Psychic

"The power of the medium comes from the spirit itself, and as I said before, the spirit is a harmless and dangerous existence..."

The missing George's home.

Spike ignited the aromatherapy in his hand, forming a curling smoke surrounding the living room, and continued to speak to Amanda in a calm tone.

"Before entering the real world, the influence of spirit on reality is extremely limited. Shaking the table and chairs and extinguishing the light bulbs is the limit they can do."

As his eyes fell on the aromatherapy lit in front of him, Amanda subconsciously twitched his nose.

A faint smell of rotten smell permeated in the air.

"The spirits have no senses, and everything is nothingness, no happiness, no pain, no perception. It is based on this that they are extremely eager for the real world. They are jealous of the humans in the real world because everything we have is unavailable for them."

Spike smiled and explained.

"Aromatics can protect psychics. In the following psychic rituals, the body is not occupied by the spirit. After all, a masterless body is an irresistible temptation for any spirit. Although it smells a bit bad when burned, and it does not even fit the name philosophical rituals, it is at least useful and is one of the common methods of protection in psychic rituals."

"Psychic?"

"So, next you are going to use psychic rituals to find those missing?"

Retracting his gaze from the aromatherapy, Amanda looked at Spike in front of him and spoke.

"It's not me, it's us."

Shaking his head gently, Spike gave an answer that surprised Amanda.

"We? You mean, I will also perform a psychic ritual with you?"

"That's right."

Nodding, Spike placed a photo of George the missing person on the living room coffee table.

Looking at George's bright smile in the photo, he said.

"Any psychic ritual is full of uncertainty. Even a psychic medium with rich psychic experience cannot guarantee that every time he psychic, he can get the desired result."

When talking about the dangers of psychic rituals, Spike changed his previous relaxed appearance and became extremely serious.

"Of course, what we have to do next is not a true psychic, but a medium for communication with the missing person, George, through his spirit, through his spirit, everything he experienced during the previous period."

According to Spike, George and those missing persons in the case are likely to have been cursed by some kind of existence in the video.

Obviously, this curse does not have the ability to kill people directly.

Because if that were the case, the NYPD received a call that was not just a missing person.

Of course, even so, it doesn't mean that BSI can be taken lightly.

The existence in the video, even if it cannot kill these missing people at the beginning, as its ability grows, the power of the curse spreads, and when the first victim appears, it will be a huge disaster.

So, Amanda and the others have to find the whereabouts of these missing persons before things get worse and stop this from happening.

"Now, hold my palm."

As Spike said, Amanda placed his hands on his palms.

"Remember, from now on, no matter what happens, you cannot let go of my hand. Although the psychic ritual we are going to perform next is not as dangerous as a true psychic ritual, once any accident occurs or is lost in the memory of the spirit, you will never be able to return to your body."

With Spike's warning.

Amanda closed his eyes, and then there was a hoarse and magnetic spell sound in his ears.

Amanda could not recognize the content of the spell, and could only vaguely hear that it seemed to be in Latin.

Accompanied by the spell in Spike's mouth, Amanda felt that the air around her seemed to become a little cold, and a faint murmur sounded in her ears, as if she was telling her something, but when she heard it carefully, it seemed that nothing had come. The smoke rising from the living room suddenly dropped and surrounded the two of them.

If Amanda opened his eyes at this moment, he would find a distorted face faintly floating in the lingering smoke. The entire face kept moving around the two of them with the circling of the smoke, sometimes torn apart by invisible force, but it quickly condensed again.

However, every time the face is torn apart, the aromatic flame will hop, as if it is being moved by something.

The photo between the two was injured, and George's face still maintained a bright smile, but the spell continued.

The smile seemed to start to become distorted and desperate, but when I looked at it again, everything seemed to be the same as the distorted and desperate expression, just an illusion.

The spell was getting longer and longer, Amanda closed her eyes tightly, and in the dark field of vision, she felt that the entire process of psychic ritual was infinitely lengthened.

"Yes, you can open your eyes."

Just then, Amanda thought that the psychic ritual would last forever, with no end.

Spike's voice sounded, pulling Amanda's thoughts back.

Obviously, she could feel that Spike was right in front of her, and her hands were still holding each other, but the other's voice seemed to be far away from Amanda, and if she didn't concentrate, she wouldn't be able to understand the content of the voice at all.

Opening his eyes, Amanda looked in front of him.

"This is?!"

The scene in front of him made Amanda's face look shocked.

She could recognize that she was still at George's home, but the black and white world around her reminded Amanda all the time that she had entered a world completely different from reality. This black and white is not the sense of picture in black and white movies, but even more nihilistic and weird.

Amanda lowered her head and looked at her palm. As expected, she turned into black and white just like the surrounding environment.

"This is the world in the eyes of the spirit."

Spike's voice sounded again, but this time it was no longer as there was, but was right next to Amanda.

Hearing Spike's voice, Amanda's originally uneasy mood became calmer. She looked in the direction Spike looked and saw a black and white figure sitting there motionlessly in the bedroom.
