Chapter 16 The Grotto

On the British seaside, next to an unknown resort.

Ning Yuan and his group flew through a broom for more than an hour and finally led them to this destination in Dumbledore.

The air was filled with the smell of the sea, and the cool sea breeze blew everyone's hair.

Among the group, Dumbledore had already put on a brand new silver-gray robe, his long hair and beard were neatly combed, and the latter had a bow tied with a bright violet ribbon.

Behind him, Ning Yuan and Snape, wearing Muggle sportswear, stood together, looking at the boundless blue sea in the distance, with the sound of waves roaring in their ears.

As for Sirius, who had a much better complexion, he and Lupin looked carefully at the surrounding environment with his two pairs of eyes.

They stood on a high black rock exposed to the sea, and the waves rolled under their feet and foamed. They turned their heads and saw a cliff standing behind them, and the steep rock walls fell down. Several large rocks, the ones that everyone was standing now seemed to have fallen from the front of the cliff at some time in the past. They were bare and desolate. Apart from the vast sea and rocks, there was no tree, no grass or beach.

"The entrance to the cave should be near the cliff, please look for it carefully!" Ning Yuan reminded.

Soon, the sharp-eyed Sirius discovered the crack located at the bottom of the cliff.

With the help of magic, everyone passed through the passage that had been filled with high tide sea water and entered a large cave.

"There is nothing here?" Sirius and everyone looked around with their wands, and asked in confusion as they looked at the empty cave.

"Of course, the mysterious man would not put his soul in a cave casually!" Lupin said with a smile, and carefully inspected the top and rock walls as he said.

"You say that, it seems like Voldemort is toast, piece by piece!" Sirius grinned.

Snape didn't say anything, frowned and didn't know what he was thinking. It took a while before he said, "Are you sure it's here, Dumbledore?"

"Yes, is this place?" Dumbledore said briefly. "It has seen magic, it is just the vestibule, the entrance hall." Dumbledore said after a moment, "We need to get inside... What is blocking us now is the mechanism set up by Voldemort, not the obstacles set up by nature..."

Dumbledore walked around the cave twice from the right, touching the rough wall as much as possible while walking, occasionally stopping and fumbleing up and down somewhere with his fingers. Finally, he finally stopped and pressed his palm flat against the wall.

"It's here, the entrance is hidden!" Dumbledore said affirmatively.

"Let's see my Sasha!" Ning Yuan smiled and called out his own house elf.

With the unique sound of the phantom's movement, Sasha, who was holding a large bottle, appeared in the cave. "Master, Sasha is waiting for the order!"

He took the big wide-mouthed bottle in Sasha's hand, and as soon as he opened it, a strong smell of blood spread.

Everyone has been on the battlefield, so they can clearly tell that this is the smell of human blood, and they can't help but frown.

However, Dumbledore, who knew the blood source, looked at Ning Yuan with a smile and pointed at the bottle with his magic wand, floated half of the blood with his magic wand, and sprinkled it onto the rock wall that Dumbledore was touching just now.

Suddenly, a arch outline appeared there, emitting dazzling white light, as if there was a strong light behind the crack. After the light disappeared, the blood-spreading rock in the arch suddenly disappeared, revealing a door hole, and there seemed to be endless darkness inside.

Everyone couldn't help but hold their wand tightly, "Abus, what happened just now?" Lupin asked.

"Voldemort wanted his opponent to weaken himself before he could enter, and once again he couldn't understand that there were many things that were much more terrifying than physical damage," Dumbledore said.

Afterwards, several people walked carefully into the depths of the door. Even during the day, the cave where the sun was not seen all year round was still dark, as if they had suddenly entered the night. The bright sunshine outside the cave just now seemed like a dream.

Walking into the cave, what appeared in front of them was a large black lake. The lake surface was extremely wide. At first glance, you could not see the opposite shore in the distance. You could only see a hazy, green light shining in the dead lake water below. Apart from the wands of everyone, there was no other light in this cave.

"The Horcrux is in the center of the lake, or is it in the lake?" Snape frowned and looked at the bad environment here.

"The lake should be the Yin corpse that protects the Horcrux for Voldemort!" Dumbledore checked the surroundings with the help of the light emitted by the wand, "and the fake Horcrux replaced by Regulus should be in the center of the lake."

"Regules is inside too?" Sirius's face looked ugly. Looking at the dark lake, Reel fell asleep inside.

Dumbledore paused, "I think so!"

"Damn Voldemort!" Sirius growled like an angry Tibetan mastiff.

Seeing this, Lupin hurriedly grabbed Sirius. "Don't worry, we are here to take him home. Calm down Sirius!"

"What should we do next? None of us knows how many corpses are in the lake?" Snape had a good relationship with Regulus when he was in school, and did not mock Sirius for being reckless and impulsive as usual.

Dumbledore took out a golden compass, "This is the magic prop I borrowed from Nick. Sirius you just need to drop a drop of blood on it!"

After Sirius was impatient to finish everything, Dumbledore took the bloody compass and gently recited the strange-rhymed spell with unknown prophecy.

After the golden compass absorbed the blood, a small blood-red magical aura emitted from the tip of the compass needle. It quickly circled around several times and drilled into the water surface, and then stopped moving.

"The body of Regulus is connected at the end of this light!" Dumbledore explained.

"I'll go down and catch it!" Sirius was about to take off his clothes when he saw this.

Ning Yuan and Lupin stopped him, "We just need to let them come out by themselves now. This is a defensive measure set by Voldemort after all. If you want to attack people, you will definitely be manipulated by magic and walk ashore from the lake!"

"I'll stop those corpses in a while. After you find the remains of Regulus, you will bring them here as soon as possible." Dumbledore nodded and summoned four domestic elves like Ning Yuan. "Then the domestic elves will take us to the beach just now."

Several people looked at each other and nodded.

Then Ning Yuan walked to the lake, waved his magic wand, and countless splashes of water were blown on the entire lake.

Immediately afterwards, the lake surface began to stir violently in everyone's eyes. Looking up, white heads and hands were everywhere coming out of the dark water. Men's, women's, and children's, all with sunken eyes, floating towards the rocks with no vision - a large number of dead bodies appeared in the dark lake water.

And in an inconspicuous corner, a pale body connected by the red light emitted by the compass in Dumbledore's hand was also in it.

"Bear of flames!" Seeing everyone's targets, Snape first drew a gorgeous wall of fire with his magic wand to block more corpses on the lake.

Dumbledore followed suit, and his powerful magic power combined with the artifact-level old magic wand, a golden rope meandered and tied up dozens of Yin corpses who had luckily arrived ashore. The bound Yin corpses did not move, as if they had lost their motivation.

Cooperating with the two, Ning Yuan, Sirius, and Lupin also brought down other Yin corpses one by one, leaving only one Yin corpse connected to a red light in the heart staggeringly towards everyone.
