Chapter 1 I'm a Zombie(2/2)

He punched out and directly smashed the mirror in front of him into pieces. The broken glass pierced into his hands. There was neither unbearable severe pain, nor the blood flowing out was fresh blood red, but a disgusting dark red.

No matter how much he refused to accept the facts, Chu Donglin knew that he had really turned into a zombie.

He wanted to clench his fists in pain, but found that the strength of his fingers was so weak that he could not even be able to clench his fists. He opened his mouth wide and wanted to roar, but his vocal cords could only make a low and strange roar.

He couldn't speak or could not take up things. Apart from becoming extremely powerful, Chu Donglin was useless.

Is this a zombie?

Looking at his hand in a daze, Chu Donglin was surprised to find that his broken hand had recovered his strength at some point.

Although the wound still existed, after the wound no longer hurt, Chu Donglin was able to use this arm again.

But this could not make him feel the slightest joy. His heart was occupied by pain and almost collapsed in this blow.

At this moment, the familiar ringtone of the cell phone suddenly rang in his pocket. Chu Donglin was stunned, reacted suddenly, and quickly reached out to take out the cell phone in his pocket.

Because his fingers had become extremely weak, this usually simple action is now extremely difficult. After a long time of hard work, Chu Donglin took out the cell phone in his pocket and looked at the strange number on it, and he was stunned.

Subconsciously, he pressed the switch button, and then his parents' joyful cry came from the other end of the phone.

"It's connected! Great! It's connected!"

Immediately afterwards, Chu's mother hurriedly urged Chu's father to speak. Although Chu's father tried hard to calm down, the excitement in the words was hard to hide.

The voice full of excitement and enthusiasm sounded in this dim shop, which actually brought a hint of warmth to the world surrounded by zombies.

"Donglin, where are you now? Is there safe? Is there enough food? Are you hiding alone or with survivors? Are there many zombies nearby? Is the environment safe? Is there any army setting up shelter to accommodate survivors? Is it good to eat?"

Even the always calm father Chu couldn't help but ask so many questions in one breath after losing contact with his son for a week.

Listening to the familiar voice of parents on the other end of the phone and feeling their concerns, Chu Donglin's eyes were wet.

He nodded repeatedly while wiping his tears, but forgot that his parents on the other end of the phone could not see his movements.

Chu Donglin's crying whimper was heard by Chu's father and Chu's mother. How could they admit their mistakes when their son's familiar voices? The two old men who had been worried for a week finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Great, Donglin! Now you hear me that your mother and I are in the shelter established by the army, so don't be afraid of being threatened by zombies for the time being. There should be troops building shelters near your city. You should find an opportunity to escape and find those army protection. Remember, be careful not to be bitten by those zombies. Once bitten, you will be quickly infected by the virus and then become a human-eating zombie! This is very important, you must remember!"

"By the way, you have..."

Chu's father's advice was interrupted in vain.

In the shop that became silent again, Chu Donglin stared at the black screen in his hand, showing a panic expression.

"Ho ho...ho ho..."

He waved his hand, but could only let out a futile and anxious roar. The phone has not been charged for more than a week, and the power supply has almost reached its limit.

After all, at the beginning, all the Wangcheng communication networks in which Chu’s father and mother lived had been cut off. Many of the calls made by Chu Donglin were sank to the sea. In the end, the desperate Chu Donglin gave up his cell phone and stopped calling.

If Chu's father hadn't called back suddenly today, Chu Donglin would have almost forgotten that he had a cell phone on his body.

Looking at the phone that was automatically turned off due to insufficient power, Chu Donglin panicked and looked around, wanting to find a place to charge.

However, although there is a socket in this clothing store, there is no data cable to charge.
