Chapter 37 Slaughter (Part 2)

Chapter 37: Massacre (Part 1)

There are always inevitable deviations in planning, and these deviations need to be artificially corrected to the right track.

It is a very good idea to use personal gain to attract slave merchants and folk adventurers to hunt gnolls, but once they take action, many problems are exposed one by one.

The most prominent problem is that the force in the hands of these slave merchants and adventurers can only be comparable to that of the female gnolls!

Even if the combat effectiveness is poor, the losses will be heavier than those of the werewolf.

As we all know, most of the armed forces in the hands of slave merchants come from mercenaries and civilian adventurers. The combat power of these people is not as powerful as the story says, at least the powerful aliens among them are very rare!

A mercenary with strong combat power can easily obtain a half-time position in the army as long as his life is innocent, without having to hang out in the mercenary ranks.

As for adventurers, unless this trade can attract a powerful multiracial team that ignores the map section as the adventure area, it is not worth much expectation for just human adventurers who use the southern plains as the adventure area. Their members are mostly composed of down-and-out knights or civilian swordsmen, and in terms of combat effectiveness, they will not be better than the elite gladiators mastered by slave merchants!

In fact, what Murphy does is not that complicated.

The werewolf slave trade ushered in a cold period because it was difficult to capture. After a period of capture, the slave traders found that this cunning and cruel creature was not so easy to deal with! They often needed two to three people to deal with a werewolf without damage! And once this creature fights back to death, the losses it will be greatly affected!

In the end, they found that the price and gains they paid were not so happy.

As a result, the initial craze caused by the high rewards gradually cooled down.

What Murphy wants to do now is to make the slave merchants' hearts gradually cool down again!

After being matched by Mrs. Elizabeth, Murphy and the first to come to town, behind which were the slave merchants supported by the noble council. In fact, the group of slave merchants supported by the noble council were the first touting the opportunity of the gnoll slave trade. They were also part of the plan to drive this craze!

Now, the town urgently needs to capture or kill a group of zombies to inspire others’ confidence!

Murphy has been silently observing these slave merchants, and through them, they understand the progress of civilization of the aboriginal people in this world, and calculate how much difference is between their combat power and the urban and military forces! He found that the combat power of humans in this world is not that strong, and the low-end force composition still maintains a balance. At least that supernatural powerful force has only been seen in one person at present.

Murphy still remembers the scene!

It was raining heavily that day, and he met a group of special visitors at the port of the town.

At that time, Mrs. Elizabeth was next to him, and both of them noticed the arrival of the outsiders.

The number of this group of people is about 150, all of which are made up of adult men, equipped with weapons and leather armor, and it seems that they have received some military training. Obviously, this is also a group of people attracted by interests.

The person in the lead was a man with a muscle standing on his body about two meters tall. He applied white paint on his chest and arms. Unlike other indigenous people, this group of people had a more wild atmosphere. Their hair was all spread out and they formed a rather weird hairstyle like braids in the middle. The complexion was a little darker than that of others, and the style was a bit similar to that of Indians and African natives!

But it was such a group of people. When Murphy saw them, the retina actually changed the same as when he was in the temple!

Murphy saw the gray mist surrounding these people!

And the man in the lead had a special pattern made of gray and white silk thread!

The pattern is a bit like a wolf, but it is not clear.

"They are Psyians and live in the jungle in the wilderness north of the plain. Their tribesmen are all hunters, and nearly half of the dog-headed slaves in the entire human city-state are from their works!" Because I knew that Murphy was not familiar with these people, Mrs. Elizabeth took the initiative to introduce: "It seems that our plan is very smooth, and even they are attracted."

Psycheans?

Is it one of the races in this world?

It seems to look a little different from other humans in the southern plains?

"Do they admire wolves?" Murphy looked at the group of Psyches with cold expressions and suddenly asked thoughtfully.

"Why do you ask this?" Lady Elizabeth showed a look of surprise on her face. After thinking about it, she said without any certainty: "It seems that all barbarians have the habit of worshiping wolves. But I don't know the Psycheans."

"If they really worship anything, I think they should be their ancestors!" Mrs. Elizabeth pointed to the white mark on the chest of the man in charge and said slowly: "It is said that the ancestors of the Psians were one of the human heroes of the ancient times! They often shouted before the battle, for the glory of their ancestors!"

For the glory of ancestors?

Murphy was silent.

In fact, he has discovered a problem during this period!

He found that the humans in the entire southern plain did not seem to have a unified belief. In other words, the humans in this world did not gather under one belief!

Moreover, Murphy also discovered that most of these gods believed in by the Aboriginal people were elves!

There are even some barbarians who believe in orc gods!

Even wild beasts!

what does that mean?

Haven’t humans in this world born their own gods?

Murphy frowned slightly and stared at the group of Psyches from afar. The different feelings they gave Murphy seemed to be brought by faith.

If he remembers correctly.

Almost all gods began with the initial ancestor worship!

The development history of human civilization in the southern plains is less than two thousand years old. Compared with orcs and elves, it is not too strange that there has not been a unified belief.

But there is not even a human god, which seems to be a little problem?

Even if it is based on the evolution of ancestor worship and sacrifice, a group of believers will eventually appear that are dedicated to human beings?

Could it be!

Are there other secrets hidden in this?

This conjecture reminded Murphy of some serious problems and was a little uneasy.
