Chapter 655 Yongming Temple on Nanping Mountain

When the situation in Binhai was in chaos, Zhou Ming and Su Han were in peace inside, far away in Hangzhou, a hundred miles away.

Although there is no sight of the spring dawn of Sudi and the snow on the broken bridge in Hangzhou in September, as a constant stream of literati and poets yearn for the holy place, Xizi Lake still has other good scenery worth seeing.

Also on the south bank of Xizi Lake, located on the east side of Xiaoxitian, there is a Nanping Mountain. There is a Yongming Temple on the mountain. It is said that it was built during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms periods and has a history of thousands of years. The famous living Buddha Jigong once practiced Zen here. Therefore, Zhou Ming was able to see it openly. Since there is no spring dawn of Sudi and the snow on the broken bridge, it would be worth the trip to Yongming Temple to listen to the equally famous Nanping Night Bell!

So Zhou Ming took Su Han to the Yongming Temple, which has a strong history.

This Yongming Temple is surrounded by lush forests. When Zhou Ming and Su Han came over, they heard the bells in the temple ringing. The bright bells stirred up the resonance of the woods and the rocks on the mountain, which felt like listening to the world's top symphony in the golden hall. Even the bells in Yongming Temple were even lower, making it easier for people to relax and feel peaceful.

Only then did Zhou Ming understand why this Yongming Temple is as famous as the ten scenic spots as the spring dawn of the four dikes and the sunset of the broken bridge, the snow-covered Lei Peak.

As the woods were pushed apart layer by layer, Zhou Ming and Su Han arrived at Yongming Temple. The gate of Yongming Temple was no different from other temples. The vermilion gate and yellow walls were lined with yellow walls, which clearly showed the traces of the renovation. At the door was an old monk with white hair and beard standing. He stood with a Zen stick and a group of young monks in the temple, waiting.

Zhou Ming knew that the old monk was Zen Master Changdao and the abbot of Yongming Temple. As for whom they were waiting for, I'm afraid I would know without asking.

"Welcome to donor Zhou Ming and female donor Su Han!"

Leading by Zen Master Changdao, all the monks welcomed him in unison. In fact, Zhou Ming was not welcomed by anyone, but Zhou Ming was still a little embarrassed to greet such a group of monks at the door. After all, he was considered to disturb the purity of other monks.

"Zhou Ming donor doesn't have any concern. We monks welcome the Buddha and wisely and compassion. The donor is a person with great wisdom and compassion, and we should welcome him."

Zen Master Changdao spoke actively, obviously seeing the uneasiness in Zhou Ming's heart.

These words are actually polite, but it still makes people feel very comfortable when they say them from this Taoist monk.

Zhou Ming himself is not a pretentious person. Since Zen Master Changdao said so, Zhou Ming didn't care. So he expressed his gratitude to Zen Master Changdao. Then Zen Master Changdao walked into Yongming Temple with Zhou Ming and Su Han and came to the main hall of the temple. There was a merit box at the entrance of the hall. Zhou Ming and Su Han threw in the incense money they had prepared early.

Zen Master Changdao put his hands together to express his gratitude to them. Then they walked into the Main Hall, which was very magnificent, nearly ten floors high. It was worshipped in three statues of the Great Sun Tathagata. Although the incense in the hall was constantly inflamed, it was not stuffy, but it had the effect of being elegant and concentrating.

Zhou Ming and Su Han sat on the cushion in front of the statue of Tathagata. The little monk next to him chanted the scriptures softly and prayed for Zhou Ming and Su Han.

Listening to the chanting next to him, Zhou Ming suddenly smiled: "Zen Master Changdao, I am a businessman full of stinking money. You should have heard of this saying that all businessmen are traitorous. Moreover, I am now launching a commercial confrontation in the coastal area. Many people will lose their jobs in this confrontation, which may cause some confusion. People like me, it seems that there is no merit for you to pray for me, right? Or do you also use money to eliminate disasters for others?"

Zhou Ming's words were actually very rude. Even the young monk chanting the scriptures next to him was stunned, but Zen Master Changdao's expression remained the same, as if Zhou Ming's words just asked me if you had eaten: "Since the donor can say such words, it proves that the donor already has a fair scale in his heart. So since the donor has fairness in his heart, how can he say treacherously?"

It is said that Zen Master Changdao is good at practicing Zen and interpreting Zen, so Zhou Ming just said that on a whim.

It’s not that Zhou Ming insisted on trying the skills of this old monk, but since he came to the temple and the abbot looked like he had arranged it. If he didn’t talk to him and just asked to listen to the scriptures, the gain would be reduced by half.

"I'm sorry for my misogyny just now."

Zhou Ming first apologized to Zen Master Changdao, and then said: "But Zen Master, you just said that I have a fair scale in my heart, but the problem is that the matter in Binhai is not very righteous. It's just that I'm avenging myself."

"Amitabha!"

Zen Master Changdao clasped his hands together: "The donor should know that the Buddhist Zen saying emphasizes the cycle of cause and effect and retribution is unhappy. Since the Buddha believes that cause and effect form retribution, how can the donor not? And I have said that the donor has a fair call in his heart, and can be fair. Since the donor thinks that it should be avenged, then he should avenge this private revenge. On the contrary, if the donor thinks that it should not be, then I don't think the donor will do this."

"Then even if I create chaos, make many people unemployed, or cause economic turmoil, it will be retribution?"

Zhou Ming asked again, and he looked at Zen Master Changdao: "Zen Master, do you know yesterday's news that hundreds of construction sites in the entire Binhai have been suspended at the same time. No matter how those people increase their money or threaten them, they will not start work. The economic losses in just one day may reach millions."

"This is only a small part, because today's situation will be even worse."

Zhou Ming continued: "Because today's stock market will be driven by yesterday, there will be people who will desperately sell these stocks, the market will fall into a crisis, and the losses will reach tens of millions or hundreds of millions. Some companies will easily go bankrupt. Are these things correct?"

Zen Master Changdao shook his head and said, "Donor, every flower, tree, grass, and rock in this world has its own principles. No one can define this mistake or right. I don't know what the stock market has stopped working, but I understand that if a person has a sore, it is wrong to cut the flesh with a knife, but it is right to cut off the abscess to save people. So as long as the donor insists on fairness in his heart, then the donor will be right no matter what he does."

Zhou Ming smiled. Only now did he understand that the high-ranking officials, merchants and powerful people like to make friends with these masters and like to chat with these masters for nothing. It seems that they are not idle or nonsense, but it makes sense!

Because maybe he doesn't understand the business story when you talk to these Buddhists, but he can at least straighten your heart. Many people want this effect.

Zhou Ming then chatted with Zen Master Changdao for a while, and the sparks of thoughts were colliding. It was noon soon. A middle-aged monk came over and told Zen Master Changdao that he could have a meal. Zen Master Changdao invited Zhou Ming to stay for vegetarian food, and Zhou Ming happily agreed.

So Zhou Ming and Su Han stayed to have lunch in Yongming Temple. The vegetarian food was very ordinary, just like Zhou Ming thought, they were all vegetarian dishes, but they were also very fragrant and delicious.

After dinner, Zhou Ming and Su Han rested in the temple for a while. In the afternoon, Zen Master Changdao personally took a tour of the entire Yongming Temple, read the Lingshan murals, worshiped the Thousand Buddha Pavilion, and even went to the bell tower. Zhou Ming and Su Han rang the bell with their own hands.

At about four o'clock in the afternoon, a middle-aged man hurried to Yongming Temple with his secretary.

"Mr. Zhou Ming, I'm here to pick you up and down the mountain."

He told Zhou Ming that this person was the manager of Xiaoxitian Resort Villa and was also the person whom Yu Shengrong arranged for the reception after Zhou Ming came to Hangzhou City. His name was Yu Rongtian, and he was Yu Shengrong's cousin.

Since someone came to pick him up, Zhou Ming followed him down the mountain.

Zen Master Changdao and several elders in the temple sent Zhou Ming out to the door together. Seeing Zhou Ming gradually disappear at the end of the road, an elder said curiously: "Abbot, I think this donor Zhou Ming does not look very wise, and the words he said were the same as ordinary people."

Zen Master Changdao glanced at him: "That's because there is illusion in your eyes. Think about it carefully. If Donor Zhou Ming had not had great wisdom, how could he reach the point he is today? Moreover, his eight-character fate is obviously a heavenly fate that is against the will of heaven and change his fate, and his fate is in chaos."

If Zhou Ming was here, he would definitely be very surprised to hear Zen Master Changdao's words, because it was almost almost telling the secret of his rebirth and change his fate. This old monk really has something to do.

But now Zhou Ming is on the way down the mountain with Yu Rongtian.

"I'll go down the mountain at this time. Are there any arrangements for the evening?" Zhou Ming asked suddenly, because according to Zhou Ming's expectation, Yu Rongtian had to come to pick him up at least after dinner. Now he has come so early, Zhou Ming cannot help but doubt it.

Faced with Zhou Ming's sudden question, Yu Rongtian smiled a little embarrassedly: "Mr. Zhou Ming, I have prepared delicious food for you at the Hangzhou Hotel, please..."

It doesn’t mean that Yu Rongtian finished speaking, Su Han interrupted him and said, “It’s Boss Yu Rongtian, you prepared the delicacies at the Hangzhou Hotel, or are there many people preparing the delicacies? Boss Yu Rongtian, you should know that Zhou Ming came to Hangzhou for vacation and rest. Why do you dare to prepare a dinner?"

Su Han is the queen who laughs in a baby, and the queen is drifting with blood.

Yu Rongtian could not bear Su Han's momentum, and immediately burst into cold sweat. He explained tremblingly: "Su...Dr. Su is sorry, I also know that Mr. Zhou Ming is here for vacation in Hangzhou. I personally hope he can get the best rest, but I can't do anything about it!"

Yu Rongtian said again: "Dr. Su, you know that I am just an ordinary businessman in Hangzhou. I don't know why the news leaked out. If someone is looking for me, it's hard for me to refuse, so I'll refute their face! And the identities of some people also make me unable to refuse..."

Zhou Ming waved his hand and interrupted him: "Forget it, since you agree, I'll go and have a look that night."

Zhou Ming is not really generous, but his status has reached this point, and some things should be something that he cannot escape from social engagements.
