Chapter 43 43 Political Covenants

A 26-year-old major general in the army, in everyone's opinion, is very worth celebrating. So Gustav Krupp was the hosted party to invite countless bigwigs in the business and military circles to hold a grand cocktail party.

"A cocktail party for me?" Akado asked with a smile that the private butler of Krupp who came to inform him of the attendance.

The butler bowed and replied in a very humble and polite voice: "Yes! Mr. Akado, a carefully prepared cocktail party for you."

As Acardo's status within the military increased, the Great German Party expanded rapidly within the German Wehrmacht, and more and more officers joined this party, and their weight became heavier. This inclination made the merchants and scholars and other forces within the Great German Party restless. It seemed that they had other purposes to hold this cocktail party.

After hearing this, Akado smiled, nodded and agreed, "No problem, tell Mr. Krupp that I will attend."

Bach's music was filled with the air, and Akado was holding a wine glass and talking to several generals of the National Wehrmacht. These generals were very interested in the Great German Party. Some of them were already loyal followers of Akado, and some also acquiesced to the Great German Party to develop party members in their own troops. They were talking and laughing together, and looked extremely harmonious.

A young major general who could chat with five generals of the National Defense Forces. This major general was tall and handsome, with short golden hair, which was a dream lover tailor-made for the girls. Many gorgeously dressed girls and women were already holding wine glasses around, thinking that they were to wait for Akado to come up to express their admiration for Akado as soon as the conversation between Akado and the generals ended.

However, this attempt was shattered by an uninvited guest. Carl Benz, the president of Daimler-Benz, walked into this small circle of speaking and apologized politely: "Sorry, everyone, I have some things to ask Mr. Acardo Rudolph."

He called Acardo a gentleman because Acardo was not just a Wehrmacht officer, but also the chairman of the Great German Party. As a businessman, he wanted to strengthen Acardo's second identity than an officer.

Most of the generals were from nobles. They politely picked up the wine glass and drank it all, then smiled and dispersed, and were divided up by a group of women who couldn't help but feel lonely.

"What's the matter?" Akado asked with a smile.

Carl Benz took a sip of wine and said, "You bought about 54% of our company's stocks. It's my boss. Of course, I'm looking for the boss to do business for the boss."

Akado shrugged and curled his lips: "I have never regarded you as my subordinate, I have always regarded you as my friend."

"This is how great you are. You treat us as friends, but we respect and obey your leaders. We have a good relationship and are very efficient." Carl Benz laughed: "I came here this time for your private affairs."

"Private affairs? What private affairs can I have? I go back to the apartment after get off work every day and have to read more than twenty books and plans in one night." Akado saw Carl Benz saying serious things, so he had to say helplessly.

Carl Benz smiled and said, "Akado, don't you think it's a problem with you?"

Akado was stunned and looked at his subordinates: "What's the problem? What can I have?"

"A 26-year-old major general of the National Defense Forces has a high title, which is very problematic." Carl Benz said, shaking his wine glass.

"Because when I was 26, many of the 50-year-old men did things that I had done for 20 years but hadn't done them. And if Sicket hadn't blocked the documents to improve me when I was there, I would have been a major general now." Akado said with a smile.

"But you are not married yet." Carl Benz curled his lips and made a very regretful expression to Akado.

"Not married? What's wrong with not married? What's wrong with this?" Akado asked a little puzzled.

Carl Benz laughed: "The problem is big! A 26-year-old major general of the National Defense Forces has his own luxury car and mansion, his own company, but no girl pursues it. This is very problematic in itself!"

"What's the problem?" Akado asked laughed and crying.

"If you continue like this, rumors that you are a homosexual will soon appear in various places! Believe me! Maybe there will be another rich young man from a wealthy family to contact you! I heard that many of them like this tune." Carl Benz leaned into Akado's ear and said.

Akado defended: "But I like women!"

"Who can give you a proof?" Carl Benz asked, spreading his hands and causing a back.

"What proof is this? Then what can I do? I usually only work in the office, spending most of my time in the military camp with a group of big men. How could I have so much spare time to meet girls!" Akado said angrily.

If possible, any hero doesn’t want to solve it by hand, right? Akado shouted in his heart: I also want to find a beautiful blonde haired and blue-eyed woman! I have never seen a few women since I traveled through time! I chose this way?

"So I'm here!" Carl Benz proudly boasted about himself.

"You are here? What do you want to do?" Akado looked at the man in front of him vigilantly: Could it be a gay man, right?

"Don't get me wrong! I'm here to match someone else's match! The person in charge of my sales company in Austria has a daughter, who is 19 years old this year, and is the most beautiful and generous girl I have ever met. Because she is so beautiful, there are endless people coming to propose." Daimler quickly clarified that he has no special hobbies.

Akado looked at his subordinates talking nonsense: "You must like that girl's temperament. I was moved by her beautiful appearance once I saw it! You don't know that our Mercedes-Benz's latest sedan will be named after that girl. Mercedes-Benz, how about it? If you two have time to meet?"

Akado smiled. He knew that the meat show was still here. The capitalists paid for a drink party not to find a place to eat and drink, but to get more benefits through this drink party. They never make losses, including inviting people to dinner.

"If I see her, what other benefits are there?" Akado glanced at his subordinates and shook the wine glass in his hand.

This is a transaction, a balance and marriage of interests among all parties. Recently, the strength of the National Defense Forces military has grown unprecedentedly within the Great German Party. Merchants need balance, so this conversation between Daimler and Arcardo has been made.

"You will receive more funding from merchants, and everyone will feel that you are an indispensable part of balancing the economy and the military, and there will be more merchants who believe that under your leadership, the Great German Party will be more fair. They will consider joining, or do not object to their children's joining."

"I need them to be more active, such as stopping funding the Nazi Party." Akado glanced at Daimler and launched his own bargaining chips.

Daimler nodded: "They will stop funding any political party, because the Great German Party is the party that represents their interests."

"Okay! You convinced me! If you have time, you bring her to meet me. I found that when attending such a banquet, I should indeed bring a female companion by myself, so as not to wander around the side." Akado agreed unexpectedly.

Not only merchants need to balance the growing military power, but Akado also needs to gain more support from merchants. He must obtain more support from people in order to make a powerful counterattack when facing the challenges of the Nazi Party. He knew that merchants were typical fence-bearers when there were many, and they were swinging towards the more powerful side at any time. In political class, this is called the compromise of the bourgeoisie.

"Thank you for your understanding. Here are a small gifts provided to you by several deacons of the German Federation of Commerce." Daimler smiled and handed a check to Akado. He had seen the numbers on the check, but it was not a small number.

"Half is left to you as the advance fund for the development and production of new aircraft engines." Akado glanced at the numbers on the check and handed over the check to Daimler: "You transfer the other half to the person in charge of Man Company. The final payment for the secret weapon of the National Defense Forces is time to settle."

Sometimes Akado really felt that he was just a fool. He had not even put his millions of bribes in his pocket, but he had to spend all his money on his own. The National Defense Forces' funds were not enough to make ends meet, so he had to use every money he received to arm his own troops.

Seeing Daimler walking away happily, Krupp and Stresman walked over together. It seemed that they had received good news from Daimler, with gorgeous smiles on their faces, just like two Millers.

"Chairman Akado, I am very happy to hear about your choice! Your wisdom shines! You will be supported by the Chamber of Commerce and all the consortiums." Krupp wanted to pat his chest and promise: "If you participate in the next election, I can mobilize at least 200 merchants to support your election."

"You have gained the favor of government officials, and they have assured me privately that they will not interfere with the activities of the Great German Party within the government, at least they appreciate your enlightened attitude." Stresmann also said happily.

Akado looked at the two people and said, "I have agreed to the demands of businessmen and politicians, so the Great German Party will get corresponding rewards from them!"

"What reward?" Krupp asked nervously.

"Let your company, even relatives and friends join the Great German Party, we must get out of the shadow and stand in front of the stage to meet all the challenges of all the enemies." Akado said fiercely with a stern face: "Down with all the enemies that block us!"

After thinking about it, Stresman nodded: "I will do it on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I will issue a brief statement tomorrow to announce my joining the Great German Party."

Krupp was silent for a while, and finally agreed to Akado's proposal: "I understand that all the workers in the Krupp factory will take the oath to join the Great German Party."
