Chapter 124: Khrushchev

The Soviet Union, Moscow, Kremlin. The morning sun shines on the characteristic dome of the palace, reflecting a very charming colorful light.

With a loud command, the two heavy gates on the front of the palace were pushed open by soldiers, and three luxurious Mercedes-Benz cars slowly drove into the Kremlin. All the soldiers stood attentively and looked at the three cars with the most respectful eyes.

The car slowly stood firm, and the door of a car in front was opened, and two expressionless young soldiers jumped out of the inside. One of the young soldiers had a deep scar on his face. The two young soldiers jumped out of the car and walked quickly to both sides of the car in the middle. What made people gasp was that the two soldiers were getting off the car quickly.

Three people also got out of the car behind, two of whom were carrying German submachine guns. They formed a small square formation with the two people who got out of the car in front of them, guarding the car in the middle. The four of them looked around with cold eyes, as if they were looking for any suspicious targets.

Then another man who got out of the car quickly walked to the rear door of the central car, opened the door respectfully, and then knocked his heels together, giving a standard Soviet military salute: "Comrade Khrushchev, the Kremlin has arrived!"

Khrushchev, who was already slightly bald, got out of the car, sorted out the dark green military uniform on his body, touched several medals hanging on his chest with his hands, looked around with his eyes, and then took a step towards the most sacred place in the entire Red Soviet Union.

The soldiers who passed by were all standing at the wards of their chests, but his expression still looked very dissatisfied, because in Khrushchev's heart, all the soldiers should shout long live to the sun in their hearts like Germany.

The door of Stalin's office was finally pushed open, and Khrushchev finally met the leader Stalin, whom he hadn't seen for a long time. Without any hesitation, he stood attentively and greeted loudly: "Long live the great Comrade Stalin!"

"Oh, Comrade Khrushchev." Stalin put the pipe in his hand on the table, then pointed to the sofa on the side: "I'm not Akado, and revolutionaries should not engage in these personality cults. Just sit there."

Khrushchev noticed that behind Stalin, there was a young officer with expressionless face standing behind Stalin. The officer stood behind Stalin with his hands on his back. Even Khrushchev walked into the room without even looking at him. When he saw this feeling of Ling Bingbing, Khrushchev knew that this officer also graduated from the mysterious "Great German Armored Forces Command Academy", which is the hell called the "Wolf Cavalry Academy" by the Soviet Union and the German side. This school is one of the most mysterious parts of Soviet-German cooperation.

Although they were talking about criticism, their tone did not mean anything to blame. The two-way bearded man raised slightly upwards, indicating that Stalin was still in a very good mood now.

"Yes! Comrade Stalin! You will always be the beacon for us to guide us! You are the great leader of our Soviets." Khrushchev continued: "This time you are so anxious to call me back, there must be something important to me to complete. Please rest assured! I will definitely complete the task!"

"I have read the article you wrote in the party newspaper. Comrade Khrushchev, your thoughts are consistent with mine! Our party, our country, all kinds of traitors and traitors appeared inside. They erode the fruits of victory in the Soviets! This is another form of the capitalist bugs counterattacking us."

"Your wisdom is beyond doubt! Comrade Stalin! With your leadership, the enemy's conspiracy cannot succeed!" Khrushchev thought for a while and said, "Since you are aware of the crisis, what can I do? Or, what do you need me to do to save our country?"

"Comrade Khrushchev, you know our * has just passed the new party constitution." Surprisingly, Stalin did not directly submit an order, but talked about this national meeting.

"The Congress summarized the work of the Party over the past period, pointed out the fact that socialism has achieved decisive victory in all economic and cultural departments, and pointed out that the Party's general line has achieved a comprehensive victory." Stalin walked back to his desk, picked up his pipe and knocked it on the table, and continued: "But this conference is not a victorious conference for me."

"I knew! Someone had ulterior motives to shake your leadership! This is a betrayal of the cause of communism!" Khrushchev also stood up and clenched his fists, his tone full of anger and uneasiness.

"There are many things you don't know! Comrade Khrushchev. During the meeting, a special meeting was held, and representatives who were concerned about the country, especially about agriculture, attended the meeting." Stalin said, pointing to the minutes of the meeting on the table: "When the secret vote was held, my name was called out so many times, more than anyone else... The final result was that I was not elected at all, and I was barely a member of the Central Committee when I finally decided to increase the number of Central Committee members."

"This...is... a shameful betrayal of the revolution!" Khrushchev said angrily: "Did they forget everything you did to this country?"

"The most popular central leader at the 17th National Congress was Kirov. At the end of his speech, the delegates applauded and cheered him. The applause and the slogans such as "Long live the Leningrad proletariat" lasted for several minutes." Stalin said in great disappointment: "If nothing unexpected happens, you will continue to work under his leadership."

When he heard that Stalin did not call Comrade Kirov, he called his name directly. Khrushchev raised his eyebrows. He was considered a senior cadre promoted by Stalin. If Stalin fell, then his fate could be imagined.

"Comrade Stalin, we can't just sit there and wait for death. Haven't we prepared a special force for this time long ago?" Khrushchev glanced at the young officer standing behind Stalin, paused before speaking, "We should think of some solutions! At least, we still have absolute command of the graduates of the Wolf Cavalry Academy! These soldiers are the best, and you should know this more than anyone else!"

"But, I can't use shameful means to deal with a former comrade-in-arms. If this kind of thing is spread, it will be detrimental to me." Stalin frowned and shook his head.

But Khrushchev heard the true meaning of this passage: "There will not be any rumors that are unfavorable to you. The wolf cavalry will solve all problems in the first time and will not leave any evidence."

Stalin tilted his head slightly and asked the officer behind him: "Vashir, can you guarantee the success of the operation?"

"Yes." The young officer behind Stalin replied immediately, and then there was no sound and no emotion.

"How much loss will there be?" Stalin asked again.

The officer replied again in a cold voice: "Thirty people."

"I can plan and direct this operation myself! Please rest assured!" Khrushchev said.

Stalin nodded with satisfaction, and then unexpectedly changed the topic: "I like these soldiers trained by the Germans, they are really trustworthy subordinates."

"They are natural soldiers! Comrade Stalin! They gave up everything for the motherland!" Khrushchev also admired these special trained soldiers very much and nodded.

"How is the German side?" Stalin asked about the most important thing and asked another work question.

"Comrade Stalin, the Germans have recently intervened in the Spanish Civil War. Their combat level is obviously higher, and we have lost many excellent soldiers." Khrushchev reported: "But we have many places that surpass them. For example, the T-26 tank we developed and developed on our own has a much better battlefield performance than the German P-2 tank. The performance of our i-16 fighter jets has also outperformed Italian fighters. The Germans definitely didn't expect that we could develop so quickly."

"Very good! Use the German method and our improvements to train more wolf knight soldiers! Perfect soldiers and perfect weapons, we will soon realize our long-cherished wish!" Stalin said happily, waving his arms.

"Long live Comrade Stalin, the great Soviet leader!" Khrushchev shouted, and then he changed his farewell tone: "Then I will say goodbye first, and I will greet you after I complete the whole incident."

Stalin nodded and waved his hand, and Khrushchev turned around and walked out of Stalin's office.

In the corridor, Khrushchev met General Tukhachevsky. The two passed by and pointed their heads at each other.

Tukhachevsky came to report on the aid and losses of the Soviet Union during the Spanish Civil War. As soon as he met, he brought haze to Stalin's happy morning: "Comrade Stalin! We lost 1,739 officers and soldiers in Spain, and shot down 91 fighter jets, 7 transport aircrafts, and 16 bombers; and 184 tanks were lost in front and behind."

"These losses are free! This level of losses are unbearable," Tukhachevskid said, "We shouldn't have supported the Spanish Republican Army for free at the beginning."

This undoubtedly hit Stalin's pain point, because he decided to help the Spanish Republican Army and the International Column for free: "General Tukhachevsky! Please pay attention to your words! You go out first, I know these losses, and I will consider the next countermeasures."

"Comrade Stalin, you..."

Tukhachevsky wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Stalin: "Enough! You go out first."

(Note: There are many statements about the relationship between Stalin and Kirov, which are completely opposite. Some information says that Stalin regards Kirov as his most important successor; some information says that Kirov threatens Stalin in his momentum and is therefore eliminated. This novel takes the statement that the relationship between characters is relatively fierce. Please do not go into it in detail... Long Ling really has no position here, just chose a plot option that thinks is better, and does not have any impact on the main story.)
