Chapter 10: Roche [Airey]

Ailei knew very well that ordinary people could not have surnames! At least they had to be granted a knight before the lord could give the surnames. The girl in front of her didn't look like a knight?

Aile's grandfather once told Aile that in the Kingdom of Fares, if you are not a knight, you need to inherit the surname from your elders-

The knight and the baron who were enfeoffed as a small village were able to pass only the last name to the eldest son;

The viscount of a large village or multiple small villages can only pass the surname to the boy.

Only those who are granted the title of Count, Marquis and Duke above the city-state can pass their surnames to girls!

In other words, Roxi is at least the Earl's daughter... Thinking of this, Ayre's legs became a little weak.

There is a gap between nobles and ordinary people; nobles can execute civilians at will - even if they have not made any mistakes - they only need to give their families a compensation; and civilians will be sentenced to death even if they are disrespectful to nobles.

"You... are you the daughter of the noble family?" Thinking of this, Ailey's bread almost choked in his throat. He took a lot of effort to swallow it: "I'm so rude."

"Don't stick to those etiquettes." Luo Xi waved his hand, not intending to introduce his family further.

Alay vaguely remembered that the surname "White" seemed very famous; his grandfather seemed to have mentioned it to him several times before, but he could not remember exactly which noble it was.

Luo Xi's expression looked solemn, as if she had experienced something very cruel. Ailei guessed that she had seen a tragic situation in the village?

"Well... I hope you can be mentally prepared." Luo Xi waited until Alay finished eating the piece of black bread before speaking softly, "The villagers in that village... except for a few magic apprentices who went out, all died."

All died? Only a few people were left?

Although Alay did not live in the village all the time, he was full of affection for the people and things there; thinking about Dahl, who died tragically, his mood suddenly became depressed.

"I'm sorry... when I rushed over, there were no living people in the village." Luo Xi lowered his head, "If I could arrive earlier... maybe I could stop those people."

...Stop those people? Aile looked at Luo Xi with incredible eyes: The little girl in front of her could actually defeat so many Corey people? Wait, she seemed to have said just now that she had driven away the four Corey people who were chasing over?

"You mean, you drove those people away..." Ailey knew it was impolite to question the nobles, but how did she do this weak look?

"I scared them with a little magic." Luo Xi sighed, "It's not the first time I've seen such a thing... The Korie tribe's activities have become more and more frequent in recent years."

What kind of magic is needed to scare so many Korri warriors away... Ailey is a little unthinkable; and how could she have the courage to face so many vicious men?

This girl is definitely not simple... Alei can only confirm this. Damn, it would be great if he remembered more things related to the White family! I only know that it should be a particularly famous big family...

"Is there any more uncomfortable thing in your body?" Roxi asked with concern. "Although you use the detox magic, you have been injured for a while. Unfortunately, the recovery magic can only repair flesh and blood at most, and the physical loss cannot be supplemented."

"I feel that my health is in good condition now!" Ailey nodded and moved his wrist slightly: "Now I have eaten, I feel my strength has recovered, and I am not dizzy or blurry!"

"Well, that's good... you must live well." Luo Xi smiled with relief - Alay felt that his heart seemed to be pinched by an invisible hand - the smile was even more gorgeous than the spring flowers.

Ailey nodded—I finally saved my life, so I naturally have to cherish it!

"And... I felt a familiar smell on you." Roche pointed his slender finger at Ayre's pocket: "There is something you picked up there? It's a colorful, close to the ball-shaped gem."

"Ah...yes!" Alay hurriedly took out the gem from his arms: "Is this what you accidentally lost?"

The gem seemed to be of great value, so it was naturally something that only the great nobles had; since they came to ask for it, they should return it to them happily! Aley thought so and handed over the gem.

"It was indeed what I lost in my negligence... Thank you very much." Luo Xi bowed softly to Aile, then reached out to get it - the hand was as white as mutton fat jade, and as slender as tender onions - however, when her hand touched the gem, it shrank back.

"What's wrong..." Ailey didn't understand: Can this gem still be used to electric people?

"I dare to ask... have you instilled magic in it?" Roxi's eyes flashed with doubt.

"This...well, I'm very sorry!" Aley guessed that he might have caused trouble, so he hurriedly bowed to her and apologized: "I'm...I'm trying to instill a little magic in it!"

"So, have you had a special dream?" Luo Xi asked.

"Yes...yes." Ailey said roughly his dream to Roshi with some embarrassment.

"That's really not a good future." Luo Xi's expression was quite serious.

Ailey noticed that what she was talking about was not "dream", but "future".

"Does this dream indicate something?" Ailei became even more panicked. Does this dream indicate that he will encounter similar disasters in the future? Or, this dream may become real in the future?

"That's your future." Roxi looked directly at Alay, his azure blue eyes seemed to swallow Alay's mind: "It's not 'may happen', but 'it will definitely come'."

Not possible, but certain? Ailei felt a little unbelievable: he would be called "Lord Ailei" in the future, wearing precious armor and invincible on the battlefield, resisting the powerful monsters for his comrades, and finally being photographed by the demon bear as a meat sauce because he was plotted to be made into meat?

This is too unreliable, right? Aly felt that it was difficult to meet the scene in his dream.

"No matter whether you try to resist this fate or choose to accept this future calmly, the scene in the dream will inevitably happen, which is absolutely unchangeable." Luo Xi's words gave Alay the feeling of a priest's verdict on a sinner.

"That is the inevitable 'fruit' produced by the 'cause' you sow."
